What do you like best about MakersHost?

What do you dislike about MakersHost?

Some delay of email setup, issuing ssl, and few others function (somewhere around 15-30mins) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MakersHost:

Despite the young hosting business, after using their service for a few weeks, I can admit that they have a very responsive support personnel. The staff look into my problem carefully and willing to investigate further into the issue on my particular WP multisite setup.

Also the hosting panel & client area dashboard is much more user friendly (compared to other providers who are using the same 20i panel) easy to navigate and access the support ticket system.

Performance wise, since the hosting is currently based in the UK, so the site speed is quite fast for my UK market. But they said that they might move to US based servers, yet if this does happen, it may slightly affect the site speed for UK users even with the CDN on.

Anyway, this is a good LTD deals, and I'm hoping that their business will last & grow. I'm guessing with every Appsumo code purchased, they can extend their monthly reseller subscription for another month. Keep up the good support & service life. Thank you! What do you like best about MakersHost?

Fast and easy to navigate so far. I wouldn't normally bet on a lifetime hosting deal, but the fact you already secured your deal for the next 10 years makes this deal a steal! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MakersHost?

They could have more one-click installs, like Softaculous or even Mautic.

The Backup/Restore could have automatic & rotating backups

What do you like best about MakersHost?

The hosting service has a clean ui for getting everything setup. The only hiccup i experienced was from Network Solutions because they take up to three (3) days to get an "Auth Code", before i can transfer my domain over the MakersHost. So be sure to do your transfers with plenty of time on your side! You need to transfer your domain and pay the $8.99 transfer fee in order to get the emails. "Excellent for small business"

What do you like best about MakersHost?

I work with small websites and the plan that MakersHost offers is perfect for me. It has a very simple interface and it was very easy for me to adapt to it. It was much easier for me to learn than other panels from other companies. In moments I was able to create a Wordpress site and start using it. Little by little I will be moving my sites to this server, as well as the new ones that I develop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing they need to improve, probably the knowledge base where I could not find some solution when we were doing up the DNS pointing. However, they good customer support solved our issue fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Was looking for alternative webhosting service, came across makershost and decided to give it a shot. Webhosting is an important aspect for us, as it will be hosting our websites, making sure no error, no downtime and good security for all the sites.

Has been using it for 4 months now, hosted 4 websites with them. Everything is well.

What do you like best about MakersHost?

The bandwidth, tech support, admin panel, and price. The admin panel is easy to figure out, especially if you have used popular hosting panels like cPanel and Plesk. Tech support also gets backs to you quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MakersHost?

The admin panel has a couple of bugs, but not a show stopper. Right now, I have to contact tech support to add new sites, but I have been told this will be fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MakersHost:

I have been using MakersHost for a month and so far it is working out for me. Now, I want to add that I have been working with web hosting companies since 1995, and I have a good idea of how the process works. I would probably not recommend MakersHost to beginners because it does not provide phone and real-time chat support that a beginner to web hosting might need. But for people who have been building websites and used managed hosting for years, I would say MakersHost is a good choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MakersHost solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was looking for an inexpensive, but reliable web host to host a few personal projects and niche websites that I am working on. This is a great solution. I have several web hosting clients that I will likely move over to MakersHost in the next few weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
