MakeMB is a browser-based tool for compressing and splitting PDFs directly on user devices. It reduces file size by recompressing images and splits documents into parts under specified size limits, with presets of 4, 5, 10, or 15 MB, or custom limits. Supporting files up to 100 MB, it requires no installation and works on modern browsers. A Chrome-compatible extension allows right-click PDF processing and shows recent compression history. All processing is client-side, keeping documents on the user’s device. Servers handle only account info and file-size logs, with payments managed by a PCI-compliant provider. The platform uses a credit system, with credits provided at signup, non-expiring, and replenishable.
