Majestic has so many tools & resources that it takes way too much time to make the most of the product. I'd recommend using tools with a singular purpose before diving into Majestic and paying for the service. I think this is a fair analysis - positive and negative. We do indeed have a LOT of data and I accept that this is sometimes hard to get to grips with (and often other tools can cut to the chase). In our defense, we do only do one thing and do it well, which is map the links on the internet and use this to help give insights and depth. Our mainstay strategy (at the moment) for addressing this concern is a free 1-1 live web demonstration for anyone that asks for it via our support. This can rapidly help with the admittedly steep learning curve. Thanks again for the review. While Majestic is one of the strongest, most established brands in the market for all-things backlink, they are behind the times when it comes to tracking and trending social share metrics at the URL level. It's the Gold Standard for backlinks. However, if you need to quantify and track social sharing metrics and other signals, a tool like Ahrefs is probably a better investment. I do like the most prominent features: Hugest index, lots of analysis options, etc. But the reason I like this platform is that they are constantly innovating: From releasing their own search engine (allowing us to understand search much better) to gamification components just a few weeks ago. Not sure if that deserves mentioning here (I have nothing bad to say about the platform!) but that's my major pet peeve. Other than that, I an not really sure what else I could mention here...
