The best thing about Majesitc is that it is one of the best tools for backlinks analysis. I like the fact that a startup has collected one of the largest backlinks databases in the world. I also like Majestic that I can analyze special matrices of Trust Flow and Citation Flow on the site. I don’t know the mathematical formula for Trust Flow and Citation Flow, but these metrics replace Google Page Rank better than any other. I also like the fact that the site is responsive. Sometimes I use the site from a mobile. I also like the fact that Majestic has developed a special extension for Google Chrome. This extension saves time. Using the Google Chrome browser extension, I perform site analysis without opening the Majestic website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Majestic? In many ways, I like a startup. But I don’t like the fact that using Majestic I can’t filter backlink to toxic and organic. This is important because I’ll add these links to the Google Disavow Tool. Recommendations to others considering Majestic: I can recommend using Majestic to analyze backlinks. The service has a large backlinks database. The base is updated regularly. Reliable database of links that is not mixed in with a lot of irrelevant links and you can go back and see links built over time. The trust flow and citation flow ratings are also a very reliable and easy way to get a quick overview of a sites backlink history in a snapshot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Majestic? Database of links could be bigger but they are still one of the best. I also wish that the ability to go back on the link history allowed for a longer window but they are still one of the only companies to offer it so not complaining too much. The ability to see new and old links is very powerful and makes it easier to keep track of competitors and internal projects as well. The fact that this is THE source for backlinks, it is the world’s largest link database after all. Everyone in the search industry has high views of this tool. From all the tools I've used so far for backlink acquisition, Majestic returned by far the highest number of backlinks. Also, it's Trust Flow and Citation Flow metrics are the best proxy for page authority I have seen in any of the search marketing tools I've used so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Majestic? That it does not include key metrics such as search volume... you rather need to look for a tool that has an integration with Majestic to get best of both worlds. Recommendations to others considering Majestic: It is the best tool for pulling backlinks and guiding your SEO or PR strategy, but I recommend using it in conjunction either: a/ with other tools, or b/ esport the data and show trends side-by-side to your other important search KPIs. It is very robust and also helps understand your competitors' SEO tactics very easily as well. Also, very helpful if you run multiple sites and need to be able to export large amounts of data. The metrics and visualizations to analyze backlinks data is something which makes this tool different. Even the backlink history for 5 years helps to understand your SEO journey as well. Where in the same price other tools offer many other useful SEO features including backlinks, this tool is only limited to backlinks. This tool is good to analyze your competitor's backlink profile but I will recommend to use only "LITE" package as that's enough. We had very few links and that also of poor quality. We started doing link analysis of competitors and successfully created a backlink profile full of quality and enough quantity. As I said, no other tool can give you such a thorough analysis so definitely you can improve your keyword rankings and brand visibility with this tool.
