Mailjet is an email marketing and automation platform that allows businesses to send emails quickly, easily, and affordably. What do you dislike about Mailjet? However, there are some issues. Email automation is only available to premium users, and connecting our domain proved difficult. This should be available to free users as well, though there should be a limit on the number of free daily emails that can be sent at the same time. Automation processes necessitate thought, and a 30-day trial period may be insufficient to determine whether the system is suitable for the user. At the very least, I thoroughly test software. What do you dislike about Mailjet? It does not allow you to manually send out transaction emails. We have a need for that on occassion when we change our terms and conditions or our pricing. All emails associated with using our products (I run two software businesses that both use Mailjet) rely on Mailjet. Verification emails, various alert emails that our platforms send out to our users, password reset emails and a some onboarding oriented emails to help new users get going. I really like how Mailjet makes it easy to organize my email by topic. It's great to be able to see all my newsletters in one place, and it's really easy to unsubscribe from newsletters if I don't want them anymore. Plus, the templates are really user-friendly and make creating emails a breeze. Overall, I'm really happy with Mailjet and would definitely recommend it to others! Additionally, the interface is not very user friendly. It can be difficult to find what you're looking for, and the navigation is confusing at times. Overall, I would not recommend Mailjet to anyone. I am a regular user of Mailjet (taking a one-month subscription every three to four months) and each time I have to delve into their FAQ to remember how to do it. It is obvisouly purposefully designed by Mailjet. Update September 2023: still a pain to switch to a free plan. Mailjet has not made in better these past few years. Their free plan is better when compared to similar service providers and also the delivery rate is far better than the competitors for SMTP usage on the WordPress website. The service can be improved in two segments mainly for the support requests and removing the per-day limits on the free plan we might send 1000 emails in one day and then not use the rest emails for some weeks. The takeover of Mailjet by its competitor Mailgun and later Sinch, and the implications on EU data protection, should have been much better communicated. Given the strict European data protection legislation (GDPR), customers need a notice well in advance when a European company is taken over by a Non-European entity. We use transactional emails for authentication purposes or as a automated response to a users action like signing up to our services.
