Mailich is a German-language AI email assistant for Mac and Windows. It helps employees, freelancers and businesses work through incoming messages in an existing inbox. Typical users include trades businesses, agencies and service companies that answer recurring customer enquiries while needing to keep their own tone and check important details. The desktop app connects to supported accounts such as Gmail, GMX, WEB.DE, T-Online, IONOS and iCloud, as well as compatible IMAP/SMTP mailboxes. It sorts incoming emails by importance, provides short summaries and prepares reply drafts in the user's writing style. Sent emails provide examples of the user's tone, greetings and phrasing. Users can review drafts, add missing information and decide what to send. Mailich offers summaries, drafts for review and an optional automatic mode. Automatic replies require users to explicitly enable routine categories. They follow guardrails and include a ten-minute cancellation window by default. Messages identified as suspicious are excluded from automatic replies. AI-generated drafts may contain mistakes and should be checked, especially where an answer involves a commitment or sensitive information. Emails and the style profile are stored locally on the user's computer. For AI tasks, selected shortened excerpts are sent through Mailich's relay server in Germany to an AI service provider. The relay does not store or log those excerpts. The app must be running on a computer that is switched on and connected to the internet to process new messages.
