"Warning: Think Twice Before Using MailerLite"
0/5
What do you like best about MailerLite?

In conclusion, MailerLite offers attractive email marketing tools, but their policy is clearly focused on protecting the interests of the company at the expense of the users. It is worth considering carefully the decision to use this platform, especially if you care about flexibility, protection of your rights, and full control over the content you send. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MailerLite?

MailerLite's terms are highly skewed in favor of the company, with several absurd points that should make you think twice:

No Refunds for Unused Services – Even if you cancel early, MailerLite won’t refund you. Forget to cancel on time? You’re stuck paying.

Automatic Price Hikes – Exceed your subscriber limit, and you’ll be auto-upgraded to a higher, more expensive plan—without any notice.

Strict and Arbitrary Content Rules – MailerLite reserves the right to decide, at its own discretion, what content is “inappropriate” and can immediately shut down your account and seize your funds if they disagree with what you're sending.

Unilateral Policy Changes – They can change their terms anytime, and if you don’t like it, your only option is to quit.

Limited Liability – If their platform fails or you lose data, they hold no responsibility and you get no compensation.

Bottom line: #MailerLite gives itself the power to shut down your account based on vague, subjective criteria while keeping your money. This lack of accountability could leave you with unexpected costs and no recourse. Stay cautious! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For someone who can be intimidated by tech, MailerLite offers a simple way to create a website, landing pages, and email sequence. But what's even better than these is the quality of their tech support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best ESP for small business owners"
4/5
What do you like best about MailerLite?

Affordable plans with just the right features to get your emails sent to your email list. Without any unnecessary extras, bloated interfaces, or confusion. It's all simple, easy to navigate, and even easier to plan and create your email campaigns and set up your email automations. And a great support team, too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MailerLite?

The only thing I wish MailerLite implemented is being abled to send from two different domains with domain-specific double opt-in messages that are custom to each domain. The workaround is to set up automations and use custom email templates. Other than that, nothing else comes to mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent functionality for a low cost"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MailerLite?

I switched to MailerLite after trying Keap and Drip (a few months each), looking for more advanced functionality than what Systeme offers. Previously, I have used Convertkit (great but very expensive) and Kajabi. I like MailerLite because it integrates well with Thrivecart and Convertbox, which are tools I also use. Mainly, I wanted good automations since I have more than 300 tags ("groups") and segmentation is super important to me. They have very good prices, good customer service, it's in Spanish, and it has very good functionality, even for someone quite demanding like me. Migrating the lists was uncomplicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MailerLite?

With Convertbox, only the first 50 tags (groups) are collected, so I had to rename those I am going to use with Convertbox. Some functions are missing, such as manually adding a person to an automation (email sequence) or removing them from it - this has to be done by removing the group membership; it can be done but with some workaround. The email editor has some somewhat strange behaviors, but with a little patience, it can be fixed. But these are secondary issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
