As many other users I purchased a lifetime business license with Mailbird a few years ago. The license was sold as a full lifetime license, valid for the lifetime of the user and including all future versions and updates. Mailbird themselves have confirmed several times that the lifetime license was for all future versions and updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Now since they have released Mailbird version 3, they have decided that all the users who have purchased lifetime license have to pay again for a new license. Even though the lifetime license they sold was for all future versions, users still have to buy another "lifetime" license to be able to update to version 3.
You only have to look at facebook, Reddit, Twitter etc. to see that many people have been scammed by this company and by their lies. The Mailbird program is fine, but there are many other programs that are just as good or better that actaully care about their customers and is not run by scammers. Just be warned if you buy a lifetime license for Mailbird version 3, you will have to continue to buy new license for every update no matter what they are claiming now.
