The best part of Magnus is the costumer service. I was really stuck when I first started to use Magnus on a new job and they really helped me at the beginning , which was the best. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** The ony downsides are the trackers and groups that I wish they had a how to video or something that you could always access to show you how to do it so you do not always have to call **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping all students updated on forms and which are expired and which are updated. Magnus makes keeping track of expired forms and automatic process. Magnus even emails remindners to families on whatever schedule I set so I can set it and forget it. We also use the Magnus app with teaher on field trips! **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** Its expenseive - still worth it but this limits it as an option for many schools. The new cusotmer servce IS HARD TO USE -- why cant we still just call someone - putting in tickets this way is more difficult adn sometimes we need an immedete help or answer. **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** consisitencey in charting. ability to quickly see visit log on speific children. Magnus has a great customer service team that is eager to help and fast to communicate. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** Magnus has many features to help organize, search and track student health records. However, it is not very intuitive for the user to navigate. It may be helpful to the user to have a "How-To" use page and some pop up's on some of the Magnus features for both the medical professional and the parents. **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** Magnus is helping me track Influenza vaccines in the Early Childhood Division under Immunization Records. Currently, there is no option to assign the Influenza vaccine for a specific age group only. Magnus customer support team/IT team is working on a feature to be able to assign an immunization tracker for age specific groups within a school community, under the Immunization section that is linked to the CIR. ### 4. I like that it has all chart infomation like history, parent contacts, our sports department can use and I see thier notes and treatments. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** Having to imput all the immunization. I also wish that when I am on the Student Medical Record, that when I click on OTC meds that it would list the dosage that can be given. My school has todlers to 12th grade and I have to go to a different screen to get the dosage. **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** No physical chart it is all electronic. ### 5. On our old system parents could not upload documents for records but now they easily can. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** Only that on the back end you.cannot batch add documents when setting up. If not, I submit a ticket and Magnus will either, do it for me, or provide me the information to do it from the administration role on our side. ### 8. They are also great about walking you through the process and making sure you have what you need and know how to do it for future inquires. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** Magnus has it's moment of being a little slow. **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a health center we are often trying to collect data in order to better suit the students and help us prepare for the following school year. We used the reports feature quite a bit to pin point what the needs are of the students. Also, it helps us to project what supplies and medications we will mostly likely need. We make sure we have those supplies at hand in order to better serve the student population. ### 9. It doesn't work. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** It is impossible to use. I cannot do anything without contacting support. And when support tells me how to do something by email I can never replicate their instructions. The instructions do not help and the help section was helpful the first week but they changed it and no the search in the help section may return over 100 results but not one single result has anything to do with whatyou were searching about **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the moment I am only using it for treatment notes. Because I cannot get anything else to work. Support tries but this system is very complicated and useless. For example, there are 5 places to search for epi pens and all 5 searches have different results. These are how many students returned in the searches: 6, 7, 13, 17, and 63. And each person you speak to gives you different directions and when they tell you they are going to look into it and get back to you they don't. There is only one person that answers the phone (the other times I had scheduled a training) and he is condescending and talks down to me each time. When I emailed the manager for help she sent the email to the person that talked down to me. I have pretty much given up at this point. I thought I would never say this but I wish my school used paper database. The whole Magnus Health system is set up very poorly and since I didn't set up our school it I don't know how it works. I tried watching the intro training videos but they were videos so when I copied exactly what they were doing and paused the video I got no results. I followed exactly what they did and I had zero results. And there isn't anyone to ask in a video. If I talk to someone in support I can talk to 3 different people and get 3 different ways to get the ino AND all 3 ways give me different results. Magnus customer support is very helpful, and questions are always answered quickly. The ability for parents to upload documents, even from their phones, is great. Increases compliance. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** The only downside is that teachers and other staff do not have access because of confidentialty, however, this is really not a downside since confidentiality is crucial. There are ways to get teachers the information they need, like Magnus 911 cards, etc. **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** Magnus helps with immunization management and compliance. ### 12. They never make me feel bad about asking even the simplestquestions. **What do you dislike about Magnus Health?** I would like to be able to use the "save for later" option for some treatment notes but am not able to do that for medication adminstration. **What problems is Magnus Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is easy to not only document but to share treatment notes with the students parents/care givers. I also like that it helps me manage my student health groups (ex. students with food allergies) and I can easily print up important info to send with the teachers on overnight trips in case a student needs medical care at a hospital. ### 13. This is hugely beneficial as most school health centers vary quite a bit in the functionality they're looking for in an EHR. Love the ability to transfer immunization records from state website. Magnus 911 cards are perfect for sending on field trips. Wish there was a better system for charting, rather than leaving it open to a summary.
