He was able to pick up on some of my subtle language used in our conversations and zero in on uncertainties I was having about the position. One of the things that surprised me the most was after I got the offer, he sent an email with bullet points that we discussed in our first conversation. I could tell he really listened and knew what I wanted and didn't want in a position. With that being said, he wasn't overbearing, trying to "sell me" on taking the job.
