**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Magnet Forensics?**

The acquisition of GrayKey and its full integration into the Magnet Ecosystem has made Magnet my go to source for extractions.

**What do you dislike about Magnet Forensics?**

Resource management. Magnet seems to pull 100% of allocated resources despite not necessarily needing to.

**What problems is Magnet Forensics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Magnet Forensics is solving the all-in-one approach to digital evidence. No matter what type of investigations you are running, Magnet has figured out a way to seemlessly incorporate that into their software.

**What do you like best about Magnet Forensics?**

**What do you dislike about Magnet Forensics?**

Sometimes produces noise that can feel misleading. Large data sets are not very easy to work with, especially across multiple data sources

**What problems is Magnet Forensics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Key driver for my team to perform investigations for clients. Remote endpoint collection tool is one of the best available that i have utilized

  ### 5. Easy to Learn UI, But Costs Add Up with Add-Ons

Searching for evidence to support investigations, either to support findings of illegal activity or lack of support indicating illegal activity.

  ### 7. All in one software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Magnet Forensics?**

Its very easy to start a process and investigate results. Also contains memory forensic tool volatility. I think thats a game-changer specification in the forensic area.

Some processes seem endless. Storage of current computer systems are very huge such as 2TB, 4TB... Also it requires huge memory on the computer, in these days it so much money.

**What problems is Magnet Forensics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We couldn't analyze mobile phone in a important case. Brand of the phone was Samsung and the next updated version of Magnet has the ability to analyze the phone.

**What do you dislike about Magnet Forensics?**

The costs have increased each year over the last couple years. This has made it more difficult in planning budgets. I understand the need for increasing costs, it would just be helpful to know they are coming.

**What problems is Magnet Forensics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Magnet is offering a user friendly forensic tool at a competitive price point. I am able to bring in newer examiners and train them in Magnet products in a much shorter period of time.

  ### 9. Magnet Forensics offers high level software and training opportunities.
