It works quite smooth. In my experience when you use a heavy platform, it always lags. To my surprise, Magento is quite smooth, it instantly reacts to every click of my mouse. Plus after a couple of minutes of no activity it asks me to extend my session, and in some cases even after I extend my session it still logs me out. I hate this feature.
