We like the versatility and open source nature of this product and have customized it with tools critical to the unique nature of our business. I like the versatility of the tax rules I can apply, as well as the detailed and customized way I can manage listing complex as well as simple products. I LOVE how Google responds to the format of this platform. I like the options around payment methods as well as shipping methods, which are critical to the way we do business. I also like the coupons and tools we can add to this platform to make the marketing fit our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Magento Open Source? The security of a PHP site is not for the light of heart, and the vulnerabilities are many. I wish we had known more about this software sooner, and we would have built the site differently - using more attributes instead of custom code, Some of the modules we can buy are not wonderful, so I wish Magento did more to grade the quality of the modules out there. I don't expect you to exactly be Apple, but absolutely no grading or quality credentialing is a rocky road. I don't like HOW MANY FOLDERS THERE ARE.
