How detailed the patient charts are and the ability to cusotmize specific settings. We are a Mac based office and we needed something reliable and MacPractice has been great with anything we need. We rarely have an issue but if we do, they help us out right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about MacPractice DDS? You can not send consents for patients to sign via email. We wanted to send our paper work a head of time to our patients but they were only able to fill out a portion of it so we decided it was less confusing to have them fill it all out when they arrive but it takes up more time in office for the patient. Recommendations to others considering MacPractice DDS: If you have a mac based office, I do not see any other options that come close to meeting the requirements like MacPractice does. We keep all of our patients records with MacPractice DDS and have solved the paper issue with going completely paperless. That is the biggest benefit is the streamline of paperwork, cost of less paper, and ability to ensure nothing gets lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I used Macpractice software for close to 7 years while an office manager for a busy dental practice, I appreciated its many capabilities as well as its ability to have someone remote in from their help desk to assist me with any issues that may arise.
