We at BSI, deal with a wide range of structured and unstructured documents like policy drafts and technical guidance. M-Files now helps us manage, access and govern this content across multiple workstreams. The ability to find and organise data based on metadata is a game-changer. IT saves time, reduces duplication and helps maintain a consistent structure across projects. The benefits are great, but the UI is slightly old school, its functional but not always user friendly. It does take time to setup metadata schemas correctly. Since we began using M-Files, it has provided us with high standards of locating, managing and sharing information more efficiently by members of staff. It has an easy user interface that smoothen the process of document creation, automating workflows and offering us an efficient externation collaboration for various users and partners. With Metadata driven tool of M-Files, locating a specific information is quicker for the company now than eve before. Carrying out advance search has become even more simpler, faster and easier with M-Files. It offers an intelligent search for contemporary operations and business processes. This has greatly increased our production by shortening our documents search time through M-File intelligent search engine. The bit of zero paper work with M-Files has tremendously reduced our printing costs and positively impacted on our environment while increasing out overall revenues. Coupled with its security features, M-Files has offered our team the much needed tool for revolutionizing and automating workflows & processes between staff members, our customers and partners with the highest control and security measures thus growing even our client base immensely with a short time. The way M-Files organizes content by metadata instead of folder locations has made a big difference for us. People on different teams can find what they need without digging through shared drives. I also like that it tracks every change with version control so we don’t have to worry about overwriting files or losing edits. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure out which version was final. Now everything is easier to track and tag. It also helps with audits since we can show who accessed what and when. What I like is how I can just search for a document by typing what it’s about instead of remembering where I saved it. That’s a big deal for our team because we deal with tons of client files. The tagging system makes it easier to stay organized and it works well when everyone sticks to it. In my case it saved me a few hours each week just from not digging through folders.
