The software performs exceptionally, whether its a native deploy or you are accessing through the web portal. The features are pretty much limitless and customizable for any type of business or business process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about M-Files? The necessary administration, build out and maintenance of the system is extrodinarily time consuming and almost impossible for a non-IT administrator. Even the simplest of internal stakeholder requests for modifications or changes to the platform could take days to figure out and help from M-Files customer service is spotty at best. Recommendations to others considering M-Files: Watch out for implementation and maintenance requirements, and ensure that the resources are there before engaging. Contract lifecycle management from M-Files new product is amazing . It was expected from their presentation that we would save on FTE hours expended on CLM, but in hindsight it was simply used for adminsitration of the system which now requires an FTE.
