It's really helpful for capturing accident footage, which has saved us a lot of money. The live footage and quality are the best, offering clear video capture. The cameras are reliable and strong, maintaining operation even when a truck is hit by force during an accident. The setup is good and easy, and we even use Lytx cameras in most of our trucks. I switched to Lytx cameras due to their reliability and superior quality. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** I think everything is good however for some camera installation is the hard part so it would be better if installation can be done easier. **What problems is Lytx solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Lytx cameras to see live footage and road conditions, which is helpful for accident footage, saving us money. You don't have to request the video, as you can browse the footage yourself without any extra steps. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** There are so many cons to Lytx, I don't know where to start. Everything seems good when they are selling you their product/service. Once you sign the contract is where the trouble begins. It seems then you are passed around to different departments and employees with the "that's not my job" attitude. If you have a question, the employee that sold you the product/services, tells you he can't help you and send you to someone else. That person will tell you the same. If you choose to self install, I hope you have a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. The instructions they provide are worthless, and good luck with calling customer/technical service. They have no idea on how to install these units. I believe they are reading off a script and if your question isn't on there, GOOD LUCK! Same for just regular questions regarding stuff on Lytx's dashboard. I once emailed them with a question and they said it would be 1 to 2 weeks before they would get back with me! I would never recommend Lytx to a friend or colleague. **What problems is Lytx solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lytx camera provide footage if our vehicles are involved in a wreck or dispute. This is a great tool for on-road vehicles. The coaching dashboard and process for coaches to receive notifications and use the system is VERY easy to use and a critical component of the platform. The dashboards are easy to use and navigate which is another plus. Lytx has helped us reduce insurance claims and costs over a 10+ year period and we have saved millions of dollars over that period. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** While we like the use of AI, we've had continual issues with it struggling to see seatbelts at night or with reflective gear on. We have a fleet of over 400 drivers and they don't always drive the same truck. Having to manually assign and reassign drivers takes a lot of admin work on a daily basis. The audible alerts letting the drivers know what they need to correct is very helpful. They are older drivers and were against any form of camera but since installing and using them they now understand the importance and how it helps thm in scenarios that could have lost them their jobs. I am for the Lytx equipment and program because as a supervisor it provides me with consisent feedback opportunites and talking points when having to gice corrective action. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** I don't think there are many downsides or least helpful things about Lytx. ther are some glitches but we have been able to make adjustments now knowing what they ae. The system can become blinded by glares from the sun and not recognize drivers in their seatbealts when the naked eye can see it in the video. But overall I would say it is all helpful. **What problems is Lytx solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps with accidents. It has helped with property damage claims. It takes even more attention while driving to watch for all the other people using devices. I adhere to a strict company policy of no device use while driving. I am able to coach this behavior and have had great success stoping the unwanted behavior. Lytx is also great for collision investigations. When a person gets into a collision it is a tramatic event for all involoved. Sometimes details are forgottten and by no ill intent of anyone. Lytx helps clarify what happened with a high level of certainty. This can hurt or help a company based on what took place, but either way, it clarifies so we can learn and move on with our work. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** When a new windshield is installed, it is very difficult to get the cameras back up. Easy installation procedures - we use this hardware and software daily. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** The amazing GPS data coming off the vehicles has, at my last check, limitations on what can be shared with other systems. Within the Lytx platform, incredibly accurate and reliable location data is available, but the vehicle positions API they offer is heavily limited (for example, sharing location data every 30 seconds). Most drivers are on their own out there for a significant portion of their work day and week, having the camera with them gives us an opportunity to observe their driving habits in a way we weren't able to before. This, in turn, allows us to coach and correct their behavior so that it doesn't turn into a crash. **What do you dislike about Lytx?** I dislike the way coaching effectiveness is calculated/measured. It seems to me, there could be a better way of calculating if a person is coaching for results. **What problems is Lytx solving and how is that benefiting you?** There have been several situation where having the camera has prevented our driver from recieving a ticket.
