The actual user experience of Lyssna is quite intuitive. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. The integration with Figma is particularly problematic. Despite having a small prototype, the tool constantly flags my file as too large. When I reached out to their support team, they acknowledged that my file was indeed small but offered no concrete solutions or timeline for a fix. This issue isn't isolated to me; several colleagues on my design team have encountered the same problem. Lyssna has a great list of features and helped my team build several unmoderated tests that ran all at once. This saved us so much time and energy that we could spend elsewhere. The figma integration allowed us to test prototypes fast and early. Customer care was very fast to helped us answer questions before launching our first test. I've been doing CRO for over 15 years and have relied on Lyssna (formerly UsabilityHub) to back up my recommendations and get client buy-in on test ideas. I find it more powerful to SHOW them that 75% of users don't know what their value prop is, for example, rather than merely telling that to them, myself. I also use it to uncover problems that I didn't initially think of. I appreciate that the feedback is super quick and affordable. And I like the variery of tests/polls I can run. It makes me wonder what type of screening or verification there is to ensure that users truly fit the demographics they claim to. Also, there are times that I get snarky responses, which aren't worth paying for.
