## Lyssna Reviews
 ### 1. Fast, clean and clear

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle F. | Product Manager, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I love that the platform finds respondents for you, and all you have to do is set the required demographics.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

No tooltip text on hover of some icons makes it hard to understand what they are.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping get feedback from real world users on the interface and experience of our website product offering.

 ### 2. Lyssna is straightforward to use and has a ton of inline guidance to help you figure it out.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin B. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

You get easy access to their testing panel with a decent set of parameters to define your sample. In my work, it's sometimes necessary to recruit from our membership, but when it's not, I love how straightforward Lyssna's recruitment process is! Also, the way you can create a "mashup" study using a combination of testing methods is amazing. I'm used to these kinds of tools offering "either/or" choices - e.g. either a tree test or a survey. Lyssna lets me create a mixed-methods study, which I love.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

There are some efficiency issues during test setup, for instance, you can duplicate entire tests, questions, etc. but when you're setting up something like a tree test you can't import the same tree hierarchy and apply it to all your tasks at once. They seem to be aware of these kinds of things, though, and make small adjustments that really enhance usability.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need fast turnaround time on testing in order to get insight into very specific questions. Lyssna enables me to design the test I need, get it reviewed by peers and stakeholders, and publish to a pool of prequalified testers very quickly.

 ### 3. Great for unmoderated research and validating UX flows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ranjan N. | Lead UX Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lysnna provides some great features to test UX flows, conduct AB testing, card sorting, etc. Its an easy to use software and surveys are very quick and easy to setup.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Sometimes when using figma files, it can take long for figma files to load in preview.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lysnna provides us with tools for conducting unmoderated research with UX designs and flows. It has a variety of features that make it easy and we are able to get large sample sizes instead of conducting moderated research

 ### 4. Happy for 5 years and counting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teresa L. | R&D UX Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Easy to set up, huge panel, cheap test, super fast results, great diversity of tests.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Participant screener is not customizable.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick testing during exploration / prototyping phase

**Official Response from Team Lyssna:**

> Hi Teresa, thanks for the great review! We're so thrilled you've been a happy customer for over 5 years!

I wanted to let you know that we added custom screeners quite a while ago. I'll link our feature page here so you can take a look but if you'd like a hand with these, feel free to chat with us in app and we can help you out.

 ### 5. Very Intuitive and Easy To Use Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron W. | Experimentation Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

The user interface is very intuitive to use and easy to navigate. It is very easy to set up tests and get them live and I end up using it on a monthly basis. I really like that there is the ability to use it for free (At low volumes) to try it out and the prices to buy credits are very reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

At the moment I have not found any problems with the platform. It is a go to tool for me.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting user insights in a very short space of time. This has helped me turn around projects very quickly.

 ### 6. Perfect tool for prototype testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Testing full prototypes with Figma to analyse more detailed behaviour is fantastic on Lyssna - we consider this a BiC tool right now in this area specifically. Easy exporting allows for easy analysis of data with Excel/Google Sheets which is ideal. Finally, customer support is always swift to respond and assist with any issues.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

It's a little time-consuming to set up a block of tests with multiple flows, outcomes, etc. However the "clone" tool goes some way to addressing this.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We really consider Lyssna a BiC tool right now for detailed testing of prototypes, and especially response testing around first click, preference, etc. Strongly recommended for these needs.

 ### 7. A very useful and easy-to-use testing site. Great for all types of UX/UI testing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Senior UX/UI Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I like how easy it is to set up a test and the variety of options available. You can run a simple preference test, first-click test, 5-second test, and more. You don’t need a large number of testers to get valuable feedback. I also appreciate the well-thought-out responses from participants. I also have gotten quick support when I have had questions.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

The thing I dislike most is the name. from the name it's hard to tell what the site does.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us determine how to design complex user interactions without having to build them first. We found a correlation between the results from Lyssna and live user testing.

 ### 8. The best platform for remote usability prototype testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice R. | Lead Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Our UX design team has tried out a number of platforms for remote usability testing and after an extensive decisioning period we settled on Lyssna last year, and have absolutely zero regrets in our decisions. It is has super charged our UX team. It is easy to use and has a wider set of features than most of the competitors, and makes remote Figma prototype testing SO easy. Lyssna's pool of testers are excellent, speedy, and provide very valuable clear feedback. One thing I particularly love is that the (rare) times when we have received an unhelpful or incomplete tester response, we have been able to very easily request a new tester and get our full results instantly. My experience of other platforms is that often you get much weaker results, with testers who are incentivized to rush through tests regardless of the quality of the insights. On Lyssna however, the testers seem engaged, tailored to our needs, incentivized to give valuable honest feedback.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Just a wishlist item: I wish there was a way to have contextual questions appear on certain steps through the Figma prototype flow without having to wait until the end of the flow, or interrupting the user's process. But otherwise no complaints!

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run Figma prototype usability tests, with a mixture of Lyssna's tester audience, and with our own audience by sharing the test link through email or intercom.

 ### 9. Cost-effective solution for effective user research

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna shines with its strong panel of testers, which provide valuable insights for product development. The platform's user interface is clean and easy to use, making it accessible for first-time users.

Compared to other tools available, their pricing is competitive and offers excellent value for the features they provide.

Their customer support is also responsive and helpful, making the overall experience even better.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

A potential area of improvement would be adding the option to provide step-by-step instructions when testing a prototype. This feature would make the testing process smoother and help participants follow specific tasks.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna makes user research easier and more efficient by providing quick access to a reliable panel of testers. It saves me time recruiting and helps me get clear, actionable feedback.

 ### 10. Good testing tools for professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff W. | President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

They have grown over the years, adding new features and tool sets to solicit feedback and testing. With templates available, they have the easiest implementation in the market.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

The interface of Lyssna could be improved, but it functions fine.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna helps test navigation ideas and categories, as well as brand awareness tests.

 ### 11. Nice tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danial S. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Simple interface, clean UI, and demography settings. Great customer support, fast responses. Was easy to start using the product. We currently use weekly for new features.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Can't randomize sections yet for more objective results. Sometimes it's hard to connect Figma.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test designs before release

 ### 12. Over all it was great and I'm so happy I can self-serve to get started

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allen C. | Investor/Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

- I like that i can set it up myself without getting a sales on the call
- the new recording function was great!
- can link up to my figma prototype

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

- recording is only available in goal-oriented task, and not free-flow
- I think you have to enable recording for EVERY TASK, which i think i forgot to do so a couple of my tasks didnt have recording : (
- the reporting is a bit clunky to use, but gets the job done and has what you need

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna helps get users to test our product so we can uncover any major usability flaws. We tried to do our own recruiting but weren't able to in the end. So Lyssna turned out great! the turn around was quick too!

 ### 13. Highly recommended to use Lyssna

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yip M. | UX designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I found suitable participants through a research panel in just a few hours. It was incredibly fast. Additionally, customer support is excellent; they are supportive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

We can only conduct the interview in English. It is preferable to allow users to select their own language for the interview.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

am currently working on my own UX project while taking courses at Kickass UX. To recruit suitable participants for interviews, I have used Lyssna. By specifying user criteria, I can select appropriate participants in just a few hours. This process is incredibly fast.

 ### 14. Nice tool, great customer support, minor complaints

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna has great variety in what types of activities you can organize. It's easy to set something up and the preview works great. It's clean and without clutter, allowing you to focus on what you're doing. The price is affordable. Setting up a variation set was easy as well and was very helpful. I've also had amazing assistance by customer support, very fast response time and they were helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

There are a few minor complaints I have with Lyssna. The first is that the participants can't go back if they're completing a test. Second, and this ended up being a more major issue for me: when adding an image to instructions, it remains small and there's wasted space around the edges of it and the expand option does not do anything. As a workaround, I used a design survey for my instructions and image as the image size is much larger. However, this caused the estimated time to go over the limit for my subscription tier... I had to remove some questions and combine some questions, so this issue had an impact on my test and was frustrating.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping user research tests and surveys in one place and helping with analyzing results.

 ### 15. Easy to use and with more functionalities than expected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana L. | Senior UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I was used to another competing platform and was very surprised at how quickly I was able to figure out how to start using Lyssna without missing the other platform. In addition, I especially liked the ability to schedule interviews and be able to synchronize it with my calendar, I found it very useful. In addition, it alerts both the interview participant and the researcher so that they do not forget the session.

Also great are all the templates and the process by which it guides you to get the most out of all of them.

I feel supported by the Lyssna team, they are always offering help and calls if I need to set something up.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

So far I have not seen anything to hold me back in my studies.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can carry out studies in a quantitative way to large masses of users.
It also helps me with the participant recruitment part, although I have my own user panel, it is great to be able to use the possibility to schedule and show different slots to participants and the reminder service for participants and for the researcher is very valuable.

 ### 16. Simple to use and gives me everything I need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberlie W. | User Experience Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I love that when you create a study, you can both recruit participants (the demographic filters are great and the feedback rolls in quickly) AND you can also create a link to send to your own participants (our own users). This gives me a full view of the issue I'm researching from both a (potential) new user perspective and a current user one.

I also appreciate that Lyssna keeps adding functionality - I plan to try out the testing live websites functionality next week.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

It can get expensive, I guess. But the time-savings is worth the cost.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna solves the "I am not the user" problem for me and my company. We get real feedback from real people about our ideas and product, so we can improve them.

 ### 17. Lyssna gives me the tools to validate designs and create buy-in at development and management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lars B. | UX / UI Designer | CRO Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna's service is super quick, most of the time I have my validation and feedback within half an hour. I can quickly validate designs before I have them built by Dev before going into lengthy quantitavive ab-testing.

You just upload the files (in a preference test) and get user feedback almost instantly, this is why we use Lyssna for almost every new big change on out e-commerce platform.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

I think the feedback section can have a bit more space per answer, I usually choose 50 participants and have to scroll quite a bit. I haven't tried the pro version yet, but the standard version is good enough for what I need at this moment.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get super quick insights in how users perceive a design change, this gives us the opportunity to fix those before starting a quantitative ab-test.

 ### 18. Really robust platform for all kinds of usertesting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jalita d. | Head of Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

That it has so many different templates and setup features to start from. It really helps with ideas.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

It was a bit tricky to understand what makes a test longer but I figured it out.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To get fast feedback and validating concepts and hypothesis. It helps us to get granular on testing broader than our current userbase to tap into new markets and products.

 ### 19. Easy and fast user research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena G. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Fantastic tool if you're looking for fast, easy access to audience insights. One of its biggest strengths is the speed—I've been able to get comprehensive results in just a few hours. The segmentation capabilities are another major plus; they're detailed enough to give you a precise view of your audience, which is essential for crafting effective campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Certain niche segmentations lack a large enough sample, which can limit their usefulness. Additionally, the pricing can scale up quickly, especially if you're conducting frequent analyses.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re revamping the website, so understanding exactly what clicks with our target audience is key. We want every part of the site—from layout to messaging—to connect with what they’re looking for, making their experience smooth and engaging. With these insights, we can make decisions that actually match their needs and boost our overall impact.

 ### 20. Intuitive user interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah . | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna makes user testing incredibly easy with its straightforward, intuitive interface. From the moment you sign in, the platform guides you through the setup process with minimal friction. Implementing tests is a breeze, with simple step-by-step instructions and pre-configured templates that save a lot of time. The ease of gathering feedback and analyzing results is impressive, making it an efficient tool for both beginners and experienced testers alike.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

While Lyssna excels in usability, the platform could benefit from a wider range of features. Currently, it offers the essentials for user testing, but lacks more advanced tools like deeper analytics or customizable reporting options. Adding more features would make it even more powerful for larger teams or projects with more complex needs.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna was instrumental in helping me gather real user feedback early in the development process, allowing me to validate key assumptions before committing to full-scale production. The platform’s easy-to-use testing setup enabled me to quickly launch tests and get actionable insights from actual users. This feedback helped identify potential pain points and confirm which features resonated most with the target audience, ultimately saving time and resources by ensuring the project was on the right track from the start.

 ### 21. Great for quick user testing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Great functionality for quick user testing, such as survey responses or 5 second testing for creative feedback. Response quality is usually great and very quick to come back, enabling us to work in a more agile manner

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Audience segments are sometimes limited, even though they are listed within the filters

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing users and UX research into design processes earlier

 ### 22. Fast and easy to use user testing tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elīna . | Usability Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Really easy-to-understand tool. We did some user testing for the first time few months ago and it was really understandable for new user.
Haven't really tried any alternative yet, but so far Lyssna has been quite good and helpful tool!

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Would like to see how many respondents there are in my chosen target group. Maybe there is this option somewhere already, but haven't seen it clearly.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is helping with some homepage structure improvements

 ### 23. Lysnna makes testing easy and fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kristy m. | Senior Product UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna has all the testing types that I need and makes it easy to get them set up. I also appreciate the ability to reject a response and get a replacement when I know that user wasn't a good fit.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

I wish there was a bring-your-own panel or crm I could attach to Lysnna so I could have all of my testing through one software.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need qualitative and quantitative study results for software testing, and Lysnna provides that at a reasonable price.

 ### 24. Happy User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

as a product designer i found it very useful because of its great features especially usability testing. i am excited to use the new feature "live website testing"

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

first i would say it is expensive, not everyone can afford it.
second i would say somethings on lyssna when you interact with don't give you feedback. for example i just filled out this form on lyssna and it don't give any feedback what happened after i submitted the form.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

when i was working on my last product design project I used lyssna to conduct usability tests and A/B test that helped alot since conduct traditional ones would face constraints like participants recruitment, time and money and so on.

 ### 25. Get validation and insights in a matter of minutes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom R. | Senior product designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna enables me and my team to get valuable insights on designs were testing in a matter of minutes. The platform is super seamless to use and beautifully designed. I've been using it now for 2 years and can't live without it.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

The one problem is that sometimes participants will cheat the system to get their reward, so some of the answers aren't good answers.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows you to get validation testing done quickly

 ### 26. Intuitive to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

The user interviews have great support tools that deal with all the logistics after the initial recruitment email is sent.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

I don't like the way you have to buy credits to recruit Lyssna users. Also Lyssna is a weird name, usabilityhub made more sense to me.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna helps with the logistics around scheduling and running interviews. I also like the automatic transcription of interviews.

 ### 27. Cost Effective & Scalable User Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

They have a great pool of people, from all walks of life, which makes exploring a problem space easy.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

It can be a challenge to get 100% of fully answered questions. I don't know how to improve this but it would be nice.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying a solution for a particular problem space often requires going to social media, reading forums, or talking to real people. This is yet another tool to speed up that process.

 ### 28. An excellent tool for all kinds of tests (UX and beyond)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blaze J. | VP of eCommerce and Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Various and easy to use options.
Helpful support.
Easy to set up and use daily.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Some of the features are only available in top tier (which is understandable).

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing our hypotheses and assumptions about our marketing messaging, the website, and other tools.

 ### 29. Great for quick iterative feedback

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I like how inexpensive it is to run large sample surveys. When we need quick feedback, it’s a great tool to use.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

The recruitment panel, often I find that we don’t get great quality responses, but for first click testing, etc. it’s perfect

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We often need quick, iterative preference or first click testing on design iterations. Lyssna allows us to quickly test, at a low cost.

 ### 30. Used Usabilityhub and currently evaluating Lyssna for paid version

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Clear communication, easy discovery so far. Seems like there is quite a few available features on the middle level subscription.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

No tester credits as part of the subscription price, hard to budget this in monthly.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First priority is design testing prior to feature launch to contribute to design decsions and internal conversations, also interested in on site live testing to identify pain points and obtain direct customer feedback.

 ### 31. Great platform for quick user testing that continuously improves its services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meline M. | Senior Product Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

The variety of testing methods, the option for a panel or own respondents, customer service and speed to conduct tests

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Interviews are only for people who have english as a language

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's extremely fast and can be seamlessly integrated with other tools (such as getfeedback) to collect insights and it offers a variety of user testing techniques

 ### 32. Great functionalities for unmoderated user research

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hadar K. | Senior UX researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I like the variety of test types, usability tests, card sort, first click, and more. It's super easy to create the test. I get the responses very fast, and most of the time, the responses are valuable.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

There's no easy way to compare answers when creating a variation test.
The parameters for selecting the crowd are mainly focused on B2C products. My product is B2B, and sometimes it's hard to find my target audience.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a mass of responses regarding my product designs quickly. It helps shorten the design cycle prior to development phase.

 ### 33. Easy and robust user testing tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jozef . | UI/UX Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna offers the perfect platform for our usecases. They have quite extensive pool of participants that can be easily extended by external panel. The tool is easy to use and can be very versatile. The customer and procurement support is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

In some countries their pool is not as extensive as we would need it to be and so we use external panel for this matter.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is a clear benefit of not needing to get multiple tools for pool, form creation, distribution and evaluation . Easy integration with Figma.

 ### 34. Excellent service! Affordable, reliable & VERY effective.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris C. | Lead Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I love that Lyssna allows us to bring our own audience, this way we can make use of our list of "engaged users" that have opted-in to collaborating with us, giving us feedback & input on solutions we're testing, or our existing app & its usability today. It's VERY easy to use & implement the test. The customer support is very attentive. We use Lysnna relatively infrequently, but will definitely be leaning on it more & more as our UX team ramps up.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

I really wish it would allow us to create slightly longer tests with the free / guest plan, but I'm aware that it's asking for a lot. Obviously Lysnna must make their margins as well, so I don't fault them for that limitation by any means.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us a structured platform to create simple usertests / surveys through, and bring our own audience. We've not yet payed for credits, but will certainly consider it moving forward.

 ### 35. Lyssna Testing Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I like how quickly we get results for our study

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

There's no way to duplicate or share a study

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to quickly test our platform and get instant results

 ### 36. Lyssna offers exceptional value for money in user testing and is really easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark A. | Lead chaplain, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I like their responsive customer service best of all! Whenever I wrote about a question or problem, they always responded right away and sorted things out for me. This made learning how to get the most out their user testing very easy.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

A test that allowed users to divide 10 points between 3 choices would have been good, but customer service suggested another way to get the same results.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lyssna has helped us decide on a company logo which will make our marketing more effective.

 ### 37. Easy to use platform to gather usability and other quantitative and qualitative feedback from panels

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen D. | Lead UX Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna is very easy to use, with various different tools available depending on what kind of test you want to run. I also really prefer their credit-based plan. They are introducing new tools every year.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

I kind of wish you could do a screener without using too many additional credits.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me back up hypothesis before, during, and after iterations. It's also a very quick turnaround meaning I don't have to faff about with different platforms or trying to recruit people myself.

 ### 38. Lyssna is easy to use and has quick turnaround for results.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

It's very easy to use and put together tests. I like the articles about best practices for each type of test and have used those as a resource a few times. The turnaround time is fast and I like the results page.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

The estimated task times are way too long and impact the 5 minute test limit. I wish they were either more accurate, or the limit was higher.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our product team has a tough time getting users to engage in user interviews or testing, so we use Lyssna to get that feedback from their pool of candidates. I like being able to set a really narrow audience for tests that reflects certain user types.

 ### 39. Lyssna has helped me to bring user research up to speed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel K. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna's User Interface is incredibly easy to use. It helps a lot to find the right and most apporbiate testing method. After that Lyssna guides you through the process of setting up your first test with ease.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

An pricing options for startups or freelancers would be great

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helpes me to collect user insides while also providing a pool of users to choose from

 ### 40. Great platform for recruiting UX research participants

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misayo S. | UX/UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

1. This was my first experience using a recruiting platform for UX research and it was great. We've got a large number of applicants, so we could choose the niche participants that we were looking for for our user interview. We have 3 participants booked so far, 1 was a no-show, but the other 2 gave us a lot of great insights.

2. I think for a 30-minute interview, $75/participant is reasonable.

3. When I contacted their customer service, they responded within a day and answered my questions clearly. There was no hustle or frustration.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Currently, I have no way to contact the interviewee for follow-up questions. They said they were working on creating the feature, so I am hoping the feature will launch soon.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had difficulty finding the right participants, and this platform helped us find them.

 ### 41. Good but there is space to be better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Easy to apply logic, easy to follow the answers, great that you can export the answers, great that there is intergation with figma (but if prototypes are a big bigger they will never load, this is a huge minus), the word cloud,

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

In the surveys there is no back button so respondets cannot edit their previous answers

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unmoderated tests with users

 ### 42. Experience with Lyssna platform as a UX researcher

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Easy pay-as-you-go model, free version has a lot of capabilities for moderated testing, great templates for a variety of research methods.

Despite these limitations, Lyssna has been incredibly responsive and iterative in their product. Every month there is a new feature, product improvement, or feedback taken from users. They are a UX company through and through.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Build for prototype testing, not for live site testing, any unmoderated sessions are limited to ~2 minutes. Anything longer needs a paid subscription. Recording features and other necessary testing features are not implemented yet.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User behaviors (first clicks, preference testing, usability testing) and motivations (moderated user interviews)

 ### 43. Lyssna is great for quick surveys or first-click tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Great for quick tests or surveys, such as design surveys or small Figma prototype tests. Offer a range of options - first click test, card sorting etc. Even think aloud is possible for desktop users but not for mobile users.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Not many users for interviews from non English speaking countries, I wish there was a larger panel for interviews. Desktop and mobile testing doesn't have feature parity.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for very quick recruitment of users worldwide. Many languages available. Good panel in EU countries and the UK. The UI is also translated.

 ### 44. Tons of useful features, responsive customer support, some glitches

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Lyssna's set of unmoderated activities has made it so much easier to scale research at my company! The templates are clear and the customer support chat is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

We have experienced a few glitches with the calendar integration feature when scheduling moderated interviews. This has caused a lot of confusion for our participants and our staff. The customer support agents at Lyssna were fast to respond, but have not solved the problem and keep implying that the issue is on our end.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling up research
Reaching participants who are not in our database

 ### 45. Complete platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolina P. | UX designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

I like the variety of tools and test you can find but most of all that you can recruit people for your personal panel

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

There are lots of filters for tests but most of the pages have the same tests repeated

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need users for my UX tests, and lyssna can recruit people

 ### 46. Many possibilities in a user-friendly layout

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Many possibilities in a simple interface

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

I don't have much experience yet but haven't faced any issues.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Surveying our target group --> Gather insights we can use in our brand communications

 ### 47. Cost effective software to launch User Research in your company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom A. | UX Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Incredible simple to use, and has a wide range of templates to utalise. Its a really cost effective tool for those researchers who are trying to estalblish user research and get things off the ground.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Slightly frsutrating how they have packaged up the new recordings feature, which is frustrating as it is a great feature.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to perform all of my research taska from surveys to usability studies and more.

 ### 48. Fast and cheap panels built into a powerful tool, a true all-in-one!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Panel recruitment was our main draw to Lyssna, it is one of the most affordable options out there for B2B participants. Not only that, they offer the specific filters we need to reach the right people. While we have yet to use many of the templates, there is an impressive library of testing types available. The product is overall easy to use and we can get insights incredibly quickly! Looking forward to using it more in the future.

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Not as flashy as other products on the market, but for the price point it is an excellent tool. The monthly subscription model doesn't fit our use very well at the time, currently would make more sense for us to pay for individual test types and the 2-minute limitation makes the basic tier nearly unusable. That being said, the pro-plan has been worth it the months we needed it.

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For many of our projects we like to recruit externally as well as from our own users, I love how easy it is to set up a project to do both. It is impressive how easy it is to set up a variety of different research types! Really looking forward to some of the new testing types that will be available soon as well.

 ### 49. Easy tool to get started with and great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rikke W. | Head of UX/UI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

It is intuitive to get started with. We have just started a test so have not got that much experience yet but it looks promising.
The view for the tester is nice and seamless as the prototype seem load ongoing so they do not get stuck in the beginning.
Compared to alternatives there are much more freedom in terms of #tests and customer support is just great

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Still new to Lyssna so haven't experienced any downfalls yet :)

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More rich feedback on our prototype than what we have now

 ### 50. Great user testing platform for UX tests!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam T. | Website Service Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Lyssna?**

Love the ready made templates which inspire you and make setting up new tests easy!

**What do you dislike about Lyssna?**

Some more specific recruitment panel criteria such as job position would be great!

**What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lysnna helps us validate our UX decisions as a digital agency and we use it to get buy in from our clients.
