Lume is cloud-based practice management for opticians and optical stores, built by Canadians and is available in English and French. It runs the whole front of the practice: quotes and orders, a pre-loaded frame catalogue of over 850,000 styles, customer profiles with prescriptions and insurance, inventory across every location, automated text and email reminders, and a shared inbox for customer replies. Lume is built for the modern optician, with the latest technology and an intuitive design that flows with how you already work. An order is built on one page while the customer stands at the counter, search is instant, and it runs on any device with a browser, at the store or from home. New staff are comfortable in an afternoon. It is also built for what comes next: Ask Lume is a chat-GPT style AI that answers any question about your practice. New features ship in days and weeks, not months or years, and are shaped by the opticians who use them. When you need a hand, you talk to the people who built it. Pricing has no per-user fees, no add-on modules and no setup fees, and every practice starts with a free trial. Try it free at lumehq.io.
