The widgets. They allow versatile options in creating articles and landing pages when a department's needs differ from others. Other companies I have worked for use different platforms, and you could not set up separate pages much differently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LumApps is a seamless user experience (thanks to integrations with Google Workspace, Okta and so on) helping create a universal look and feel with our brand identity, tools and other platforms, which helps keep our users engaged and returning to our intranet as part of their day-to-day work. LumApps has steadily become a universal tool that caters to various business needs beyond our initial expectations. What do you like best about LumApps?

Our ability to create specialized communities for each of our company's divisions has greatly facilitated the dissemination of information throughout the organization. LumApps is a communication platform used by our company to disseminate news and updates to employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LumApps?

It was not clear how to set up notifications for a particular subset of community members. Integration with Google Groups was required, even though this was clearly redundant. To achieve this, all that should be required is a few simple configuration changes in LumApps, as opposed to a whole new platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LumApps solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can give our staff a single location to go to for information on all aspects of working here, including HR, marketing, sales, company news, etc. The need for supplemental programs to store other data is removed when everything is accessible through a single portal. No support for calendars, living lists or forms. These all stay in SharePoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LumApps solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Communicating to a group of people by role, such as all Scribes or all front desk workers. We no longer send mass emails, instead we publish to the intranet where users can easily refer back to it.

2. Combining multiple intranets into one just makes everything easier.

3. Users like it more than Sharepoint.

4. We use a custom search to present search results from a single, tightly-controlled Sharepoint library. This way, our end users always have access to the latest official version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
