"Seamless File Sharing with Real-Time Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

I really love that LucidLink is an easy-to-use application. All the files are in real time, making it straightforward to access and share updates. The software updates are easy to manage, and setting up a cache location is simple and incredibly useful for freeing up space on my computer. I also find it easy to share files with my coworkers and even with myself, as I can store them and save the links easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

Sometimes the speed at which files load can be slow, and while I understand that can depend on internet speed, it could be better. It would also be nice to have a place where we can preview files online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use LucidLink for real-time file updates and easy sharing, which help my agency stay organized and ensure everyone accesses the most up-to-date files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes, accessing my files can be a bit slow, which makes things feel slightly less smooth than I’d like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lucidlink provides me with safe, reliable storage for my valuable image files. As a photographer, it’s important to me that my work is kept in a secure place where the files won’t degrade over time, and Lucidlink gives me that peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined File Access, Needs More Customization"
3/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

As a senior process engineer at Germany’s Siemens production site, LucidLink’s ability to mount cloud repositories as native local drives is its standout strength. Our team works with multi-gigabyte automotive 3D CAD models and lean production documentation; remote automation engineers pull these files instantly without full payload downloads over factory VPN. Custom access segmentation lets me partition shared directories per production line and lean improvement initiative, aligning permission settings to DIN industrial recordkeeping requirements. Continuous real-time sync erases conflicting offline file revisions and shortens cross-location engineering review cycles noticeably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

Background sync processes hog workstation bandwidth during daytime peak manufacturing runs, delaying SolidWorks and AutoCAD startup for floor-based engineers. There are no pre-built audit report layouts tailored to Germany’s DIN regulatory format, meaning I must export raw metrics and restructure data manually in Excel ahead of official inspections. The platform’s native tagging functionality is overly restrictive, so sorting archived lean project records by assembly line, implementation phase or equipment category takes unnecessary extra admin hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to implementation, bulky design assets were split across on-prem NAS and shared via unstable FTP, creating repeated version conflicts and lengthy remote file download downtimes. LucidLink centralizes all engineering data in unified cloud storage accessible like local disk content. Fewer file inconsistencies reduce erroneous production setup and unplanned rework, while streamlined cross-team file access lets our engineering group focus more resources on on-site process optimization and DIN-compliant quality control. Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on LucidLink. We're glad to hear that the ability to mount cloud repositories as native local drives has been a standout strength for your team. We understand your concerns about the background sync processes and the lack of pre-built audit report layouts. We appreciate your input and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

"Effortless File Sharing That Keeps Teams Collaborating Smoothly"
5/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

I love how easy it is to share files and assets across different teams without losing any time in between. It’s straightforward to use and works really well as a collaborative tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

The glitches are frustrating. Sometimes the network crashes in the middle of a project, which can prevent it from saving and cause progress to be lost when we’re working on software that’s been pinned to a Lucid folder. I also dislike that if anything changes in the folder, you have to regenerate a new link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Remote working and the speed of sharing folders and assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mission-Driven Team with Responsive, Human Support"
5/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

Everyone on this team is clearly motivated by a mission, and it comes through in everything they do. Their responsiveness is strong, the assistance is clear, and the engagement feels genuinely human and approachable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

Nothing in particular. I’d just like to see more capabilities for vibe coding integration, and for it to natively support Claude Code, Lovable, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

It provides a file system that can sit in front of many kinds of local and cloud object storage, making it look like an effectively infinite disk to my desktop and to the apps I build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A better solution for collaborative remote work in entertainment media and beyond."
4/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

Ease of use versus Dropbox when it comes to new users, or freelancers in particular. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

The inability to pause upload/syncing rate to pereserve bandwidth while uploading files elsewhere (to Frameio or via MASV for example).

Dropbox has the ability to "pause" syncing for an alotted amount of time, please add this functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's solving how we work with freelancers and onboard artists to our cloud, without being a confusing mess (ex. bringing on someone to use our Dropbox when they already have a Dropbox account, causing lots of confusion, wasting time and money.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LucidLink Makes Remote Collaboration and Shared File Access Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

Our agency works remotely—LucidLink makes it really easy to collaborate and have a shared space to access each other's files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

Occasionally I run into connection issues, but they resolve quickly after restarting LucidLink. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before LucidLink, we were using a self-hosted server that was hard to access remotely, especially for those who live in different states. LucidLink makes is insanely easy to access shared files. We'll work directly from LucidLink so our files are always syncing and we don't have to mess around with uploading/downloading or hunting for missing assets that live in someone's download folder. "Game-Changer for Instant File Access and Team Sync"
4/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

LucidLink delivers exceptional performance that feels identical to a local hard drive, even when working with sizable files. Our team regularly handles high-res marketing visuals, comprehensive rewards program blueprints and large client presentation decks, and we can open, modify and save these files immediately with no tedious waiting for downloads. Real-time cross-team sync is another major strength. All changes update instantly across devices, so we never deal with duplicate files or version errors while collaborating on client incentive campaigns. The flexible permission controls also stand out; we can assign customized access for internal team members and external clients alike, effectively safeguarding confidential project details and client data. Setup was also a breeze — installation and folder mapping finished in minutes, and the intuitive interface meant our team required minimal onboarding to get fully productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

The native file search tool is quite limited. With a growing library of campaign assets, program paperwork and client contracts, we cannot filter searches by file tags, metadata or file types, which means we spend extra time manually hunting for specific documents. The mobile experience also leaves room for improvement. When meeting clients off-site, we can view and share files but lack full editing functionality. The mobile interface occasionally runs slow too, which hinders our ability to tackle urgent tasks while working remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using LucidLink, large file downloads created major workflow delays for our distributed team. By operating like a local drive, it cuts out long load times entirely. Real-time synchronization ensures everyone works from the most up-to-date files, putting an end to version mismatches and redundant copies. Overall, the tool streamlines collaboration, saves valuable work hours and keeps our incentive marketing and client projects running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Remote Collaboration with Seamless Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about LucidLink?

I appreciate LucidLink's ability to work on the fly without downloading, which is crucial for our mostly remote team. I also value its zero-encrypted security for handling sensitive customer data. The integration with other media platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid is very useful because it allows us to create nice summaries or flyers for our clients based on their needs. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?
