What I like most about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is probably just the ability to manipulate any kind of text, box, or lines to get the concept or idea out of my head. It's pretty easy to use. And I really like that it feels very professional, something I would be comfortable with. There seems to be a lot of features that I haven't used yet, and it seems a little bit overwhelming to manipulate everything in the sidebar. I imagine it's just a matter of time before I'm familiar with all those things. So, I would say if there was a convenient way to learn all those tools and to feel like it's very user-friendly to make sure that any idea or concept that I wanna display in that collaboration suite can be done easily without a large amount of extra work to bridge that gap. I used the Lucid collaboration suite for my computer science exam. This software made it much easier to create flowcharts, and it honestly saved me because I had forgotten to make one and only had a few hours to finish everything. The only complaint I have about Lucid is that it was a bit tedious to delete elements in the flowchart I made on an iPad. I like the AI used for building and making changes to the charts made within the software. The AI is responsive and helps to walk you through what might otherwise be a difficult change. The platform itself is fast and for organizational chart use, it's particularly useful to be able to upload a spreadsheet with information and have LucidChart integrate and build the chart for you, eliminating a lot of the manual work. The learning curve is steep. Even when looking through the resources and how-tos online, I ended up spending at least a few hours trying to learn the basics of the platform. The UI has a lot going on; too many tools in the toolbar and it's not inherently clear what all of them are for. The drag drop diagram interface is very intuitive, creating flowcharts , mindmaps and diagrams are easy. The same canvas working feature is a time saver. Microsoft 365 integrations are my favorite which saves my time in presentations.There were no lags during my usage and canvas loading was quite good and pricing is okish. The support and onboarding tutorials are too good and helped me to know lucid better. The ai integration in Lucid is also a timesaver which helped me convert text to diagrams. I am very new to the product and haven't explored all the features, but I was able to copy an existing journey and use it as a template to help me quickly build out what I need to. If there are quick-start guides that can walk me through, I missed them. I needed to get up and running as quickly as possible and there seems to be so much in this product that it can be a little overwhelming. I also felt like my hand was a little bit forced into obtaining a license because our vendor needed me to use Lucid but the free-trial period was only seven days so that wasn't really long enough for me to decide if I liked it; I just couldn't complete my project without Lucid based on the vendor. I love how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite saves me a ton of time. I used to spend hours manually building network diagrams, like layer two and three diagrams, but now with Lucid, I just give the instructions and it does the heavy lifting automatically. The diagrams are like 80 to 90% complete, and I just spend a few minutes reviewing and refining them. This has been a game changer for me, letting me focus on actually important work. The vision collaboration in Lucid is really good too; I can just announce my ideas and it gets presented into charts, with all the heavy lifting done. This makes it extremely helpful for my day-to-day job, especially because I work in a customer-facing role where presentations are often required.
