"An Essential, Intuitive Collaborative Hub for System Design and Project Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

It has become an essential part of my workflow for academic project management and system design.

What I value most is the intuitive UI/UX. Features like the drag-and-drop canvas let me iterate quickly on complex ideation work, such as creating project personas and “How Might We” statements for my software prototypes. It has also made it much easier to move from lo-fi sketches to clearer, high-level system architecture diagrams without losing momentum.

Beyond basic diagramming, the platform works extremely well as a collaborative hub. It has been key to keeping my project teams aligned when we map out technical logic, dependencies, or more complex workflows. Being able to visualize these systems together in real time has saved us hours of back-and-forth during meetings, and it’s become a critical asset in both the brainstorming and documentation phases of my engineering projects. What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

While the suite is powerful, I’ve noticed some performance lag when working with high-density, complex diagrams. Also, although the basic tools are intuitive, the learning curve for more advanced features—such as complex conditional formatting—can be quite steep. Finally, I’d welcome more robust offline functionality to better support work in environments without stable connectivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lucid Makes Complex Ideas Easy to Visualize and Collaborate On"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I liked that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes all of my complex ideas easier to organize and explain everything visually. Instead of just discussing a process, system, or project through text, Lucid lets me and my team map everything out with diagrams and flow charts. I like that I can share all my diagrams and visuals with everyone on the team quite easily. Real time collaboration support is very needed and appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I don't like that it's quite overwhelming at first because there are so many tools, templates and features to choose from. For someone who is pretty new to visual collaboration platforms, it takes some time to figure out how everything is used and how to use specific features. Another downside can be the large diagrams because sometimes there's a lot of clutter if the team doesn't organize them well. Lucid is very flexible which means it's easier for visuals to become messy when multiple people are adding ideas or editing at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Collaboration Suite for Seamless Architecture Design"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I like best about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is how seamlessly it brings together architecture design, documentation, and real-time collaboration in one place. As a technical architect, I often deal with complex system diagrams and workflows involving multiple stakeholders. Lucid makes it effortless to visualize architectures, connect ideas, and maintain version control without losing clarity.

Its integration with tools like Confluence, Jira, and Slack helps bridge the gap between design and implementation teams. The intelligent shape recognition, data linking, and automated layout features save a lot of manual effort and keep the documentation consistent across projects. Overall, it has become an essential part of my solution design and review process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I dislike about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that while it’s feature-rich, performance can slow down noticeably when working with large architecture diagrams or complex multi-layered workflows. Managing permissions for shared documents across multiple teams also feels a bit cumbersome at times.

Additionally, the learning curve for advanced features—like data linking or conditional formatting—can be steep for new team members. A few enhancements in offline accessibility and version comparison would make it even more reliable for enterprise-scale architecture work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Collaboration That Speeds Up IT Troubleshooting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The intuitive drag-and-drop interface is what I value most about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. It saves me hours each week when I need to build out complex troubleshooting trees and map hardware configurations for deskside support. Instead of wrestling with clunky formatting, I can instantly pull in standard IT infrastructure icons and connect them seamlessly. An unexpected benefit has been the real-time collaboration aspect; I can share these visual flowcharts directly with other technicians, which has drastically cut down the time it takes us to get on the same page and resolve recurring technical issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

We have had issues with connectors, routing weirdly or bending in unexpected areas, which requires manual correction. Some other mechanic issues include imprecise object dragging, grid snapping issues, and text alignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms Meetings with Easy Collaboration"
4/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite as a central hub for visualizing our project workflows, which helps align all stakeholders. I like how it solves our communication problems by visually presenting workflows instead of burying project steps in email logs, making it easy to use and share across my team. The real-time collaboration during meetings is great; it transforms a 'boring presentation' into an interactive workshop. We frequently use the live cursors and @mention comments to refine projects on the fly. The initial setup was pretty easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The whole tool is excellent, but the licensing costs can become significant as team scale, especially for occasional users or clients that we need to use it only a few times. Would be great to have like 'day uses'. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive AI-Driven Diagrams, Minor UI Frustrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I like the new AI assistant, it is extremely useful and quite understanding of the concept you are describing to it. I also like the detail you can put in your chart, which helps visualize the flow of the process effectively. The initial setup of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was extremely easy. Unfortunately i did not have the chance to integrate it with an AI agent but it supports a lot of options that certainly going to try in the future. Performance wise I am extremely satisfied, zero lag, zero latency. Last but not least it is important to mention that we used Lucid ad hoc so there was not a cost yet, however checking the different pricing models it is clear that there are options for every category. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

It took me some time to edit the arrows of the flowchart, it was a bit frustrating compared to other similar tools I have used. I like the idea of dragging the arrow exactly where I need, but then it was automatically moving key steps of my flowchart without me wanting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and User-Friendly—Helped Me Build a Process Map Fast"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I love how user friendly it is.It was recommended by a colleague as I am doing an AI Workflow apprenticeship, and needed a product to illustrate the workflow I plan to automate using AI, and even though I was new to the software, it is so intuitive that I was able to produce a very passable process map in a couple of hours. I then spent more time refining it, and by using Gemini GEMS to assist, I now have a perfect process map that would've taken me 3 times as long using alternate software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I think I would've struggled to find easy how-to tutorials on line if it had not been for an experienced colleague to train me. More video's and case studies of people using it would be handy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Visual Planning with Lucid's Collaborative Power"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I usually use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to see database flows in our current project and I love the database flow diagrams and the mapping tools since we usually use these in our work. I also love the collaborative features provided by Lucid, which help align our team goals. The diagrams are very smooth, clean, and provide a clear description of tables, foreign keys, primary keys, and their relationships, unlike traditional diagrams found elsewhere on the internet. Additionally, using the comments inside the workspace or the chat feature enhances team discussions when working on diagrams. Setting up was a smooth experience, from creating a collaborative project to adding team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I suggest an auto layout when working on large or complex diagrams. Sometimes it can be harder to organize everything clearly. I also suggest a better or easier diagram navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Lucidspark-to-Lucidchart Workflow, but a Cluttered UI Takes Getting Used To"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I love being able to take a chaotic, color-coded team brainstorming session on a virtual whiteboard in Lucidspark and, with just a few clicks, convert those exact sticky notes into a formal, professional flowchart or process map in Lucidchart. It eliminates double work and keeps the momentum going instead of forcing us to recreate everything from scratch. Unlike static drawing tools, Lucid also lets you overlay live data directly onto your shapes, which makes the diagrams more useful and easier to keep up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The interface can feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming, especially for new users who just want to create a simple flowchart. Also, the navigation differences between Lucidchart and Lucidspark take some time to get used to, since shortcuts and hotkeys don’t always match up perfectly across the two apps.
