Compared to traditional tools like Excel or Airtable, Causal has huge advantage to manage multiple scenarios and update the data with connecting the external data source. By using the "Category" feature, it makes it quite easy to handle multiple departments. Causal is a very well designed tool. It's got great flexibility on the back end, it can be linked directly to your sources (for live, single source of truth data), it has a really clean front end allowing the user to edit only the inputs you decide. It's also really great for linking multiple models, giving a clear history so you can follow how a model was designed. I also love the speed of new feature releases. I think not having unlimited categories (unless you pay for them) is a little frustrating. It's not a payment model that encourages ambitious building. Not every integration is there yet - though this is quickly changing. Some limitations om sizing of charts etc. But overall these are nit picks, it's a great tool!
