It is a great tool that can be adjusted and modified by the user itself too, meaning you do not need always the support of Lucanet to develop new Reportings in the tool. It is very easy to update data and share it with many people. You could not only upload numbers but also comments or even add some in the tool itself. Most steps can be completed directly in the software via assistants or through Excel entries in just a few seconds. The analysis with LucaNet also works exceptionally well. You can break down, compare, and understand your financial information across multiple dimensions. **What do you dislike about Lucanet?** The matrix consolidation (business units alongside companies) is only possible through creative interpretation of the limited 8 dimensions. Additionally, the integrated reporting is rather poor. **Recommendations to others considering Lucanet:** LucaNet has my unreserved recommendation. Of course, every system has things that another can do slightly better. However, the overall package of LucaNet has enabled us to bring our closing process to the level where we are now. Even after a year and a half, we continue to find activities and processes that we can improve through LucaNet. Working for a group company that has a number of businesses using different systems, different chart of accounts and different ways of working is no problem for LucaNet. It can pull data from multiple sources and make it look easy. Our consolidation process and month end close is so quick and simple now. It has also allowed us to report data in multiple ways to suit our changing business requirements and the ability to drill down into the detail is amazing! **What do you dislike about Lucanet?** I have not found anything to dislike about Luca Net **What problems is Lucanet solving and how is that benefiting you?** LucaNet is IFRS compliant and has made our consolidation process much quicker and easier particularly where multiple currencies are involved. Once fully implemented, which was done via an extensive project with LucaNet technical staff, the information flowed easily. Data from our accounting tool was pulled into LucaNet with little intervention and consolidation was then a one button click. All the views are customisable to show what is relevant to what information is required. In addition, the ability to be able to hold plan, forecast and actual data and compare between these at different levels (entity, department, cost type) at the click of a button is a large improvement to what we currently have. **What do you dislike about Lucanet?** As with all implementations of new systems, the process required significant investment of time for CFO and FC. It adapts well to different environments. Changes from local databases all the way up to the consolidation level are quickly done without bottlenecks. Reports are easily programmable once you learn the language. Lastly, the customer support provided is excellent, there is a quick turnaround and they have an excellent team to diagnose and provide solutions. **What do you dislike about Lucanet?** I cant find any , there is probably so much more we can do in Lucanet that we have not discovered yet. **What problems is Lucanet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Speed of month end close. An adjustment or consolidation entry automatically flows through all areas (balance sheet/income statement, all statements, cash flow statement) etc. LucaNet is also the only software known to me that automatically creates a detailed and meaningful (!) cash flow, where very few adjustments need to be made for monthly and annual closing purposes. LucaNet is very user-friendly. As a key user in the department, almost any problem can be solved independently. The interface to Excel is very flexible (reports, booking masks and reporting packages, preparing data for business reports, etc). **What do you dislike about Lucanet?** I can't think of anything to write here. **Recommendations to others considering Lucanet:** You will not find a better price-performance ratio and no more user-friendly software. **What problems is Lucanet solving and how is that benefiting you?** LucaNet has significantly improved our monthly and annual financial statement consolidation as well as planning consolidation. Previously, these were independent processes (monthly closing and planning in Excel, annual closing with the help of another software). This is now a thing of the past, and all work steps are harmonized. The financial statements have a significantly higher quality since LucaNet. Balance sheets and cash flows no longer need to be laboriously prepared or reworked in Excel, but are integrated. The consolidation has become significantly faster. The reporting process has been shortened by several days. Our auditor has read access to the consolidated financial statements and can independently review necessary entries with accompanying explanations, usually without further inquiries. ### 36. For example, I tried to import data from an Excel file. An account from it was not read, but I did not receive an error.
