LP2 has end-to-end functionality including • Order management - capturing order line detail • Packaging - Packing products to handling units • Labelling - Printing carrier labels for handling units • Shipment management - consolidation of orders to shipments • Transport planning - Shipment consolidation and load building • Carrier allocation - based on service and or cost options • Carrier communication - communication of planned shipments to carriers • Gate scheduling - Booking of slots for unloading and loading • Tracking - tracking in transit from collection to delivery • ePOD - electronic capture of photo and signature • Carrier rate application to shipments based on multiple criteria • Carrier invoice reconciliation - invoice check, invoice report and self bill options In addition LP2 has strategic functionality including • Carrier simulation • Web tendering • Reporting dashboard for daily reporting and overall KPIs LP2 strengths are in 3 main areas Tariff management capability - LP2 is designed to manage any kind of transport tariff across territories and transport modes. It deals with Road tariffs including Full load, part load, groupage and parcel. It can handle road tolls, fuel surcharge, additional service related costs. It deals with ocean tariffs including multi leg tariffs, inland road, ocean, CAF, BAF, documentation charges. It deals with airfreight tariffs. LP2 can handle multiple service dependent rates service levels by the same carrier. Breadth of functionality – LP2 includes a broad range of functionality to cover all operational transport scenarios. With over 20 years of development LP2 covers a wide range of transport functionality including its simulation software to help companies strategically compare different carrier solutions or different hub locations, or its multiple web portals to enhance communication and engagement with suppliers, customers and carriers. System configurability – LP2 can be easily configured across multiple scenarios from inbound global supply chains to outbound local delivery.
