This has allowed us to create professional-quality videos and podcasts without the need for expensive voice talent. Cost cutting - Of course there are immediate savings on the cost front, but the time we saved was immense! Trying to book an actor and recording with them would've taken a few days but to be able to instantly generate a voiceover was great! Intuitive - I'm not a trained professional, but i was still able to use the app effectively. **What do you dislike about LOVO?** Editing features - there are limited advanced editing features. While Genny has basic editing features you can't do any advanced video creation. They're still adding onto their resource database. We had to create the video externally and then add the voiceover onto it. However having voiceover and video editing in one place did make it a lot easier. Internet - you have to be connected to the internet to use this browser app. It's difficult to work on it where there's no internet. Minor con. Learning curve - there's still a learning curve in using the product. If you re-generate speech for the same text, it doesn't take away extra voice credits. However, if you change the text and re-generate it takes away credits. Keep in mind when creating videos! **What problems is LOVO solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had to create some quick short digital ads with limited resources. I was able to use Genny to create different versions of an ad with different voices to test out which one worked the best. Given that it's a browser app, I'm impressed with the output of quality. There are still some features that would improve the experience. The voices are pretty high quality and sound realistic. You might need to make a few tweaks here and there with the pronunciation, but overall sound very human. ### 6. However, some minor things could be better. For example, I wish the voice skins have more options. There are only a few good-quality voices, which is enough in general. Also, the UX looks a bit old, and I wish there are more control over the voice settings. **Recommendations to others considering LOVO:** if you need professionally spoken texts, check out Lovo. It's AI-powered software that generates professional voices. **What problems is LOVO solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use text to speech software to create explainer videos for marketing purposes. I can set the tempo of the speech as well as the pauses between sentences. This is very important to creating a dynamic-sounding speech file. I can also train the AI to pronounce words how I want them to. This is particularly important for my use case because my company name can be mispronounced.
