**What do you like best about Lovable?**

I use Lovable to develop beautiful applications at lightning speed, which is incredibly beneficial for my work as a no/low code specialist. The software opens new horizons for me, especially when I'm building proof of concepts. I find Lovable's affordability a significant advantage, allowing me to build apps quickly, simply by prompting. Another feature I love is being able to talk to the AI about potential development ideas with just the click of a button. This capability is extremely helpful as it allows me to take a step back and gain new function ideas. I also appreciate that Lovable serves as a good alternative to other tools like Adalo or Bubble, which have become overpriced. Lovable offers a similar service at a more reasonable price.

I find it challenging to exit the Lovable system once an app is fully developed, which can limit flexibility. The initial setup is not straightforward, especially if you're not accustomed to development, requiring some side projects to understand its capabilities fully.

I love that Lovable is very easy to use, letting me accomplish tasks without any complexity. The beautiful designs it offers enhance the visual appeal of my web applications and websites, making them look professional and attractive. Lovable simplifies the process of creating websites with appealing designs, streamlining what would usually take separate efforts from a web designer and an IT specialist into just five minutes. Its user-friendly interface and visually stunning templates make the creation process effortless and enjoyable. The initial setup of Lovable was very easy, which made transitioning to this tool seamless. I am so satisfied with Lovable’s features and performance that I would highly recommend it to colleagues, giving it a perfect score of 10 out of 10 for recommendation.

I find it frustrating that there is no clear indication of how many credits will be deducted for a request on Lovable. This lack of transparency makes it difficult to plan usage effectively, as you might not know if a request will cost 1 or 10 credits until after the fact. It would be much better if the platform clearly showed the credit deduction amount before proceeding with any request.

Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate.

I feel as though credit consumption is a bit of a guessing game. I have a limited budget and would love to know how many credits a prompt will be or something to help me budget with my credits. Perhaps just more visibility into the model, even if it’s high level.

I am thrilled with Lovable's incredible frontend iteration capabilities, which allow me to easily steer the development process and quickly come up with design ideas. I love that I can develop business logic using plain English, simplifying my workflow and making complex tasks more approachable. Lovable’s API connectivity facilitates faster integration with other data sources, significantly speeding up my development process. I also appreciate the cost-effectiveness of Lovable; it has allowed me to build my app with just $1,500 in credits, as opposed to the $10,000 it would have cost with a developer who might not align with my design preferences. The ability Lovable provides to develop a product exactly according to my specifications is invaluable. Lastly, the ease of initial setup with Lovable is unparalleled, likened to breathing—it’s that intuitive and straightforward. Overall, Lovable empowers me to create exactly what I envision with remarkable efficiency and precision.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

I find backend management challenging with Lovable (I'm still using Supabase and haven't tried Lovable Cloud). Additionally, there are issues with frontend and backend branching, as well as setting up a proper development staging and production environment. (all of this has to happen outside of Lovable for production-ready application)

I use Lovable to develop a childcare marketplace called TheVillage (https://thevillage-childcare.com).TheVillage connects Parents and Childcare providers. It builds stronger childcare communities by matching families and providers efficiently and transparently.  Lovable saves me significant costs, allows precise frontend control, and speeds integration with other data sources effortlessly.

There are moments when very custom or advanced logic needs an extra push, and the system can occasionally require more guidance than expected. Also, because the platform is evolving quickly, some new features arrive with minor limitations before being polished. Nothing critical, but there is room for more consistency in advanced debugging and multi-file editing.

I find Lovable extremely user-friendly and appreciate its ability to allow someone like me, with zero coding experience, to quickly create and design a web application for my hobby project. I admire how Lovable, when prompted correctly, understands not only how my app works but also how it should work. It is capable of identifying structural issues in my build and providing adequate solutions with few attempts, which significantly streamlines my development process. The system's capability to identify root causes of problems without requiring extensive homework from my side is invaluable, especially when users come back with feedback or found bugs. Moreover, I enjoy the creative freedom it offers; it's fascinating how an AI tool can exhibit such creative design capabilities, which helps expand my imagination and overcome my limited understanding of coding limitations. Lastly, the initial setup was extremely easy, making the entire process smooth and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

I find that Lovable creates too many structural issues mainly because it doesn't fully understand how an app needs to work from the get go. Even though it's capability to resolve those issues is incredible. It does costs credit and prompts to do so. I find that lovable is incredibly good in resolving issues, but not as good in getting it right the first time. The research it conducts appears too linear and doesn't adequately take into consideration the dependencies and inconsistencies. Additionally, Lovable needs to guide the user more effectively, gaining a better understanding of foundational aspects for certain applications and working within those frames of reference.

Getting started with Lovable was super easy, which made my first-time experience in creating an app much smoother. I also really enjoy how Lovable can handle coding based on the prompts I provide, which simplifies the app-building process significantly.

Sometimes when I tell Lovable to do something, it doesn't execute it properly. I have to use a credit to report that it doesn’t work, and then Lovable will attempt to fix the problem, ultimately using up two credits for the same task. I think if Lovable doesn’t work the first time for a certain prompt, when it finally works after being told to do it again, the second credit shouldn’t be used.

I appreciate how fast Lovable is in understanding prompts. From the very first prompt, I often get a great result, which is impressive. Even when my prompts vary depending on my stress level, Lovable almost always understands what I'm after. This feature makes it valuable for both my work and personal projects, allowing me to create things that I previously could only imagine without needing to write code. The initial setup of Lovable was amazing, which was a great start, and I use tools like ChatGPT to enhance my prompts and Figma for design suggestions. Starting out with Lovable was the right choice for us, and I'd even rate my recommendation likelihood an 8 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

I find the chat functionality too positive and it rarely questions the user. This lack of critical engagement can be problematic. Moreover, Lovable sometimes falsely claims to have fixed issues, which can be misleading and frustrating. It must not affirm functionalities or fixes when they haven't actually been resolved.

It can build things in minutes/ hours that would take days / months. It’s quite amazing, feels like having a genie working for you. But… see dislikes. Overall a useful tool with great potential, probably quite good for prototypes / simple products (not entirely sure it’s trustworthy yet for complex products).

As much as it’s smart and powerful to build seemingly complex functionalities, when it comes to design and anything visual it’s quite dumb (think 5 prompts to adjust some small padding issue), can be frustrating for me as a designer. Another thing that can be furstrating is that it can build incomplete features, or say it completed a task while it hasn’t, which you then have to spend a lengthy amount of time  and prompts troubleshooting. It also forgets, meaning you could end up having to fix the same issue over and over (even though it seemingly fixed it once and for all the first time…). So overall not as simple as it first seems. You can waste a lot of credits fixing seemingly simple things.

Let me be clear: This means if their AI produces code that is fundamentally broken and destructive to your project, you still pay for it. All financial risk for the AI's errors is transferred to the user.

The platform has potential, but be very aware of this business model before you invest significantly. You are liable for every credit spent, even on outputs that cause you harm.

**What do you like best about Lovable?**

I love the seamless setup process with Lovable; signing up was incredibly fast, and the prompts were clear and straightforward. This allowed me to start app development immediately, which was perfect for my needs. I also appreciate how Lovable solves the problem of not knowing how to hard code, taking care of backend and database management effortlessly while also teaching me along the way. I find the Superbase connection for database tasks extremely useful, and the AI capabilities work perfectly, especially when I describe tasks I'm performing. These features make it an ideal platform for building platforms and improving my byte coding skills as a hobby. The satisfaction I get from using Lovable is so high that I have already committed to paying for it monthly, and I'm definitely inclined to continue purchasing it. Additionally, my likelihood of recommending Lovable to others is a perfect ten out of ten.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

I would like more help when debugging or refactoring my apps. I know that Lovable provides some guidance in its help center on app creation, but I still feel there's a gap in understanding for someone who doesn't know how to code. More assistance with security issues, cloud issues, and database issues would significantly improve my experience.

**What do you like best about Lovable?**

I started using Lovable about 10 days ago and found it incredibly simple to use, which motivated me to explore more features beyond updating the company's website. Initially, I was delighted with how easily I was able to set things up, it almost felt like it was doing the work for me. The simplicity of the platform allowed me, even without previous experience in web development, to start creating a complete website with internal systems. Additionally, I greatly appreciate that Lovable provides a database and hosting already automatically configured, which eliminates the need to create external APIs, making the development process much more efficient and less complex. The user experience has been facilitated by the simplicity of requesting features, which I find extraordinarily useful.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

I think a more transparent credit control would help a lot, as well as an initial setup that already directs the desired structure. Furthermore, it would be better if there was an option to make small 'manual' modifications without consuming many credits, such as changing a color or repositioning a button.

The tool allows me to develop for the web easily, even without prior experience. Lovable simplifies the process with a database and automatic hosting, avoiding the need for external APIs.

**What do you like best about Lovable?**

it can make a simple web app very fast. if i need a quick ui for a demo to show my manager, it works. i just tell it what to build. it deploys automatically which is nice for a prototype. i dont need to make a full ci/cd pipeline for a small test.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

i have zero control. where is the server? is it in azure? i dont know. i cannot configure the vnet, the subnets, or the nsg rules. this is a very big problem for security. it is not an infrastructure tool. it's for making the app, not managing the cloud part. it uses its own database, i cannot connect to my company's azure sql database.

**What problems is Lovable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

my team needed a simple dashboard to show the status of our test environments. we needed it in one day. setting up a new app service and pipeline in azure would take time. i used lovable ai to build a simple front-end in one hour just by talking to it. it was not connected to our real data, just for showing the idea. it solved the problem of needing a visual prototype very fast.

**What do you like best about Lovable?**

I appreciate how Lovable helped me successfully create an online game that my friends and I can play every weekend. Once I figured out to use it in small and tiny iterations, it worked out really well, providing all the features we wanted and allowing us to easily add new features as needed. This flexibility and support for customization was crucial, and knowing I can create another app if needed makes Lovable a valuable tool for me.

**What do you dislike about Lovable?**

I initially found it difficult to understand how the system worked. It was frustrating because when I asked it to do multiple tasks simultaneously, it wouldn't perform well for any of those tasks. The process improved when I realized it was better to ask the system to carry out small and tiny iterations. I believe a better initial learning or educational video could help new users understand how to get the most out of the system and emphasize the importance of iterating in small steps.

I use Lovable to create a custom online game with features we want, replacing lesser alternatives. It enables easy updates and enhances game quality.

The cost is great, and the system's progress is impressive. I also appreciate the easy integration with other tools like Supabase and the numerous integrations it offers. The initial setup was extremely easy, which made the transition smooth.

I think customer service is lacking because they tend to push users towards community forums. They need to be far more active and responsive.
