I specifically like their extensive library of ready-to-use animations, browser-based editor, and other developer handoff tools, along with file optimisation and seamless integration with Figma, Adobe After Effects, Canva, webflow and other design platforms as well. This platform also supports hosting, CDN delivery, version history and other exports in multiple formats like GIF and MP4 formats. This platform also makes the collaboration between the developer and designer very effective and efficient, which improves the overall performance of this platform. **What do you dislike about LottieFiles?** Their free plan has several limitations, and many collaboration, hosting and premium animation features require a paid subscription, which is hidden behind the higher tier plan. While that platform is very powerful, new users may need some time to understand animation workflows and also optimise files effectively. Hun teams with heavy animation requirements may need more AI credits, and their enterprise capability is limited to higher pricing tiers only. The project is at its highest level in a very simple, intuitive interface where designers and developers can find, edit, and use animations easy enough. This is all very convenient with a great large collection of ready-to-use animations that can save time by loads when putting such animations into any project. Moreover, Lottie animations are very light in weight so do not slow down a website or an application which is an important advantage when comparing with traditional GIFs or videos. Cross-platform compatibility is also one important advantage when using this feature for it can support cross-integration with iOS, Android, and web frameworks. **What do you dislike about LottieFiles?** Although LottieFiles is an extremely powerful tool, like everything else, it too has its downsides. The best part is that you don't need to have any coding experience to create and implement your animations. I can either create my own animations in After effects and import them into Lottiefiles, or choose one from their vast library of premade animations and further edit them using Lottie Editor. LottieFiles exports animations in lightweight JSON files, which can be easily supported by most of the modern browsers. **What do you dislike about LottieFiles?** The GIF format support might need some improvement.
