I appreciate Loopio's Customer Success Team and their hands-on approach to solving our problems. The Learning Station and Help Center are constantly updated and it's easy to find what I am looking for! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't experience any downsides to using Loopio. There are a lot of features, many that our team hopes to integrate in the future, and they are always making improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to learn and use. It automates what can be very time intensive and unwieldy application processes. It frees up staff time for program delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no downsides to using Loopio. Our team uses it frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
proposal and client questionnaire management software that makes my day-to-day work significantly easier and better. I have veebn surprised how many new helpful features have launched while I've been using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish Loopio tracked time used per project across all users. And sometimes when a new feature launches, it goes through a few buggy bumps in the road. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to structure a proposal format with Loopio. It keeps everything neat and organized. The mapping tool is especially helpful when importing documents. It also helps to break things down to only look at one question at a time so more thoughtful answers can be written. Our Customer Success Manager, Newman, is really fantastic and helpful. I'm not sure there's anything I dislike about Loopio. It's a very helpful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loopio has been extremely helpful in making our RFP team and our firm as a whole more efficient and consistent in our messaging. The first of two primary benefits has been creating a process that seamlessly includes the subject matter experts in the review process of our narrative library. The narrative library is kept organized and reliable throughout the year because we know when each narrative was last reviewed, by whom, and what changes were made. The second primary benefit has been efficiency in completing each project we import, share with business partners, compete with multiple reviews, and then export. What used to take us weeks now can take a matter of days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The export functionality still needs some work. I realize this is largely to do with the uniqueness of the documents being imported, but there need to be more options and automatic matching of formats upon export. The export process for a long project is usually the most tedious part of the cycle. Magic is fine but I'd be interested to see how other firms are utilizing it better, if at all. Loopio's platform takes weeks off the RFP process. Easily match content with questions using their Magic tool, and generative AI works well to create content. Implementation was easy, and their team was professional and helpful. Notably, their sales process was phenomenal, quickly showing potential ROI and making it easy to make our business cases. The approval process could be clearer, and the Magic tool sometimes uses the same answer for many questions. It works best when RFP responses are concise, which is only sometimes the case in our industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
✓ Useful for qualitative DDQs (word docs, PDFs, follow up questions)
✓ Online question library makes it easier to search for responses – it’s possible to search the library using multiple key words (rather than searching for one word or phrase, like in excel)
✓ The “magic” tool will auto-populate DDQs, pulling in responses from the question library – this is especially useful for standard requests, like ILPA templates
✓ It’s possible to assign questions to different internal teams to complete or review the response, like legal, tax or IR. They will then get email notifications of the task assigned to them (these can be switched off, too)
✓ Finished DDQs can be exported into the word or PDF files, complete with images, graphs, footnotes, etc.
✓ The “merge variables” tool will enable small updates to be made en masse to questions saved in the library – e.g. updating quarterly numbers, or number of realised deals Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
X Not useful for heavy quantitative, excel-based DDQs as trying to store and maintain the content for quantitative analysis becomes too granular
X Building the content library and recreating the DDQs skeleton will require some effort at the onset, which should be mitigated by the time saved completing the request
X Saving completed responses from the project back into the question library after finishing a DDQ can be time-consuming, therefore a change in the process will be needed whereby all edits to DDQs should be made on the platform before exporting as a final document
X The “magic” tool (i.e. automated functionality for answers matching) may not always be useful for niche follow-up questions and will always requires double checking
X The question library can become “messy” over time if not managed appropriately, so it is important to define and follow an appropriate process in maintaining the content library Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have found the content library to be an effective and efficient way to track our previous and standard responses. It is easy to search for any topics due to the use of stacks and sub-stacks. The team has been super helpful with getting use onboard and it was easy to train new users. We look forward to using Loopio to collaborate with other teams internally. It does take time to create and put in place a process which works for the firm, but once done, it is easy to maintain the content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loopio's content library has been the most efficient manner to keep track of our huge catalog of responses. It's easy to search and Loopio's training makes organizing simple. I've loved working with the Loopio team to request new features - they have top notch customer support. I use Loopio on a near daily basis. As Word expert, I'm pleased with their Microsoft integration to upload our own Word style template, so when our content is exported and matches our existing content. I found the process to become a skilled user easy. Our team is delving into using Loopio project functionality...we managed to finish the initial response on a bid with over 1000 requirements in only two weeks using this tool. Training the 40 new users only took 30 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish some integrations, such as with Microsoft products and Monday.com (not present), were more robust. For example, if you're using Loopio to run a project, they expect it to be finished in the system... if you export it earlier in the process, comments in Loopio won't be exported into the Word file. If a project in Loopio ends up being huge, you can't easily split it later in the process (to mitigate the Word export possibly crashing Word) because duplicating a project won't transfer the project's answers, just the questions. While these are some issues I've had with the tool, I'm hopeful the Loopio development team will add features to address them in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
