"Seamless Video Recording and Sharing with Loom"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I use Loom to record my self-introduction video resume for freelancing clients and companies. I appreciate that it helps me clearly record video, change the background for a professional look, and provides a quick link for sharing with companies and clients. I like how easy it is to record, edit, and quickly share my videos anywhere. The editing features are great, and I find value in the insights on how many people have viewed my videos. The initial setup was pretty easy as I didn't have to perform any extra steps to start using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I think the free limits can be increased a bit to allow more people to use and try the free plan for a longer period. In the free plan, Loom allows recording up to 5 minutes, which I think should be at least 10 minutes so that more people who want to try it can use and decide to buy the paid plan. "Best Way to get help"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

If you ever need to record something for a client or for support, this tool makes it really easy. Everything gets saved to a library that you can organize as well, which helps keep things tidy. I also like that you can adjust the video speed depending on who you’re sending it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

If you don’t take the time to organize and label everything, it becomes difficult to track down specific videos later on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Recording and Sharing, Wish for More Flexibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I use Loom to make training videos and to record my screen to show issues to my development and IT teams. I love being able to record my screen and my voice at the same time, and I can edit and share the video without leaving my browser. The editor is super easy to use. The recording extension is available in any browser, and it's easy to share the finished video with anyone who needs it. The initial setup was very easy, basically plug and play. What do you dislike about Loom?

I wish that the AI tools and editing tools could be activated by seat instead of org-wide, it made it so that our IT Team denied my access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic for Onboarding, But Loom's Atlassian Acquisition Concerns"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I find Loom works fantastically right out of the box. We’ve never had any issues, and sharing videos is straightforward and easy. It helps us make sure all team members are properly trained with the guides they need, while cutting down the time spent on live training sessions and onboarding new hires. Our processes don’t get lost because everything is documented, and everyone has access to the videos whenever they need them. The initial setup was also extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Loom was recently acquired by Atlassian Software, and since then they’ve started integrating their own login portals and discussing pricing increases, similar to what they’ve done with other software products. For me, this has made it a terrible experience as a regular Loom customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Reliable Recordings, and Great Value"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

What I like most about Loom is how easy it is to use once you get familiar with it. There’s a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but after that it’s very straightforward. The recording quality is solid, and it does exactly what we need without overcomplicating things. It’s also an affordable option for a company, making it easy to use for all sorts of marketing and support tasks. It’s been a really useful tool for us overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

There really aren’t many negatives from my experience. There’s a small learning curve at the start, which is expected with any new software, but beyond that, it’s been straightforward and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Screen Recording with Seamless Sharing"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I love how simple Loom is to use for recording videos of my membership site. With just a click, I can start screen recording without having to set dozens of settings first. I like the button and screen layouts, which are very intuitive and don't take up much screen space. It’s great that I don’t need to be in a virtual meeting to share my screen, unlike with Zoom. Sharing the links to videos is also easy, and I can set privacy settings so only those who need the video can access it. The initial setup was very easy with simple and intuitive settings. I find it much easier and more intuitive than using the Windows Snipping Tool, which is what I used originally. Loom is MUCH easier than Windows Snipping Tool. Plus, Loom saves me from having to store recordings on my computer and provides a nice link for sharing. I also appreciate that I can share my videos with as many people as I like, and the recording looks very put-together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

This is minor, but the 3-second countdown at the beginning is slow, and sometimes I think the recording has started when it hasn't. I also wish there was a way to confirm which screen, window, or tab the recording was on, so I didn't have to go back and check it just to make sure I had clicked the right option. "Effortless Video Creation and Sharing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I use Loom to enhance the partner program experience in our SaaS business. I find it very simple and easy to share, which makes a big difference. I like recording so easily with just one button, and being able to include sound or voiceover. The option to have a small head in a bubble in the corner is a neat feature, as is the simple screen sharing. The initial setup was very easy and quick, and overall, it has really helped with recording short help videos or simple instructions. I appreciate the ease of sharing these videos with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Sometimes it is a bit hard to understand where the head bubble is. It would be great if there was some obvious way to choose what window the head bubble is going to appear in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
