"Fresh, Real-Time Reporting with Looker and Gemini—A Major Time Saver"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

As someone who is not a data scientist but still needs to create reports few days a week, looker is quite good.

Data is fresh, I dont have to wait for a dashboard to refresh at midnight, if I run the report I am seeing whats happening right now. I can adjust our weekly numbers by region, date and see products, numbers or percentages. Easy to get used to the platform once you have just basic information how the platforms operates.

Building custom reports requires a bit more knowledge but not too difficult if you had any experience with building reports. Gemini is a huge advantage for someone who wants quick answers. Instead of running through filters, you can ask the question to the AI and get summary of the data. It saves you from manually building everything and it works quite well.

Since looker is owned by google, it goes very easily with google products, like sheets for example. You can schedule reports to dump data directy to the sheets on every Monday for example. Which is a huge time saver.

As an end user, I cant really chat with google support if something is not working. You have to rely on your own company and their internal data team to fix whats broken. If you are tying to figure out how to build something, you can turn to their forum which is huge and very helpful.

I can't really say much about pricing, since it is a enterprise grade tool and company is quite strict about its details Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

Not super intuitive at first, when it comes to creating reports from scratch, filtering already existing dashboards is quite easy, visualization is quite simple as well. But creating custom reports does have a difficult learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Drag-and-Drop Simplicity with a Familiar G Suite Feel"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

I like the drag-and-drop feature, the wide range of connectors, and the familiar G Suite feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

There’s a lack of animations, and it uses a lot of cache. Also, there’s no Gemini or conversational analytics unless you upgrade to Premium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Navigate Looker with Clear, Customizable Visualizations"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

Looker is easy to navigate, and it’s simple to find the reports and information I need. It provides insights and reports across various customer data points. The visualizations, including charts and graphs, are clear and allow for customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

I’ve run into some issues in Looker. Permissions for different users can be tricky to set up, and it’s hard to keep everything straight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Insights and Interactive Dashboards Elevate Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

I like how its interactive dashboards provide real-time drill-downs, ad-hoc queries, and access to row-level details on governed data. This enables us to gain quick insights and make decisions directly within our applications through embedded analytics. The graphical representations also help us clearly understand the details of our data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

Looker is a great app, but it uses its own modeling language, which can make it somewhat complex for new or non-technical users to learn. If Looker offered an easier learning guide, it would help users overcome this challenge. Aside from that, Looker is impressive overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamlessly Visualize and Share Data with Looker"
4/5
What do you like best about Looker?

I really like Looker for its seamless integration and connectivity, especially with tools like Google AdWords and Google Analytics. The way it allows data to be consolidated in one place with just one click is really handy. Additionally, I find the process of generating reports with automated features to be quite efficient. I also appreciated the ease of setup, as it was quick and easy, taking only a few minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

The current Looker templates feel outdated, and creating custom templates is time-consuming. I think adding AI or new features to help with new templates could be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless and User-Friendly with Real-Time Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

I like Looker’s user interface because it’s clear, straightforward, and easy to navigate. I also appreciate its ability to capture real-time changes, which I find genuinely helpful in day-to-day use. On top of that, the initial setup was simple, and the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

You can’t just “jump in” and start using it immediately. A dedicated developer needs to set up the data models first, and until that work is done, a business user can’t really do anything meaningful or get much value out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Looker Makes Data Visualization and Shareable Dashboards Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

I have been using Looker for the last one and a half years. It has helped me with data visualisation, tech stack integration, shareable dashboards, and support for marketing funnel analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

Visualization customization — Looker is constantly releasing new versions, but the area where I’d most like to see improvements is in more advanced visualization options. Things like reference lines, trend lines, and similar features would make a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Service with Clean, Comprehensive Dashboards"
5/5
What do you like best about Looker?

Excellent service. The interactive dashboards are easy to use, and the interface is clean. They feel more comprehensive and detailed than other products we’ve used. Using Google products makes collaboration for our fully remote company really easy and trackable. It also provides different tools to dive into the data, including marketing funnel analytics support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

Sometimes the dates don’t update easily. It’s not always responsive or quick enough, and the page load can feel heavy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
