## Data Studio Reviews
 ### 1. Mobile-First, Spreadsheet-Driven Reports with Instant Updates—and a Great Free Version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaime Ricardo L. | Jefe del Departamento de Políticas y Herramientas en materia de Transparencia, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The most useful aspect is the integration with spreadsheets that work as data sources, the ease of dragging or selecting table columns, and the recent modification designed with a mobile‑first approach, which allows reports to adapt correctly on mobile devices. Additionally, the fact that data or interface updates are displayed immediately when changes are made is very valuable. Finally, the free version makes it easy to deliver professional‑looking reports without additional cost. I am still exploring the Conversational Analytics option, but the integration with Gemini seems like an excellent tool that will undoubtedly allow me to generate reports I had not previously considered. Moreover, the information contained in the Data Studio guides is clear, and the translation or interpretation into Spanish, my native language, is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

One downside I have experienced is the timeout or update failure caused by multiple simultaneous connections. Even though I was not connecting to a database but rather to a free data source like Google Sheets, this issue still appeared. Ironically, the ability to use spreadsheets instead of database managers is what makes Data Studio very attractive for people who are not specialized in databases. However, when several sheets are connected at the same time, the system sometimes struggles to update properly.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefit of Data Studio is the ability to access updated reports almost simultaneously, even while other users are updating spreadsheets. The people I report to can immediately view clear and professional reports with charts and location maps, all presented in a user‑friendly interface. What I appreciate most is that they can do this directly from their smartphones, simply using their browser with an internet connection—no need to install any app. This makes reporting fast, accessible, and convenient from anywhere.

 ### 2. Looker Studio Makes Real-Time, Interactive Dashboards Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautam V. | Global Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio helps create customized dashboards that enable cross-functional teams to extract meaningful insights and identify actionable opportunities. Once connected to data sources, the dashboards refresh automatically in real time, eliminating manual updates and saving significant time. Its visual reporting capabilities make it easier to identify trends and patterns at a glance. The reports are also highly interactive, allowing users to apply multiple filters, adjust date ranges, and analyze data from different perspectives to uncover deeper insights.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

This largely depends on the organization’s data infrastructure, but if the dataset is extensive, dashboard loading times can increase.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We faced significant challenges with data analysis, particularly when working with multiple data sources such as Google Ads and Google Analytics that needed to be merged into a single consolidated view. Using Looker Studio allowed us to create insightful reports, perform deeper analysis through data visualization and interactive filters, and share findings seamlessly with internal stakeholders for more informed decision-making.

This has helped reduce both time and operational costs for the organization while significantly improving reporting accuracy.

 ### 3. Strong integrations, UI could be smoother

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raja B. | Digital Marketer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

What stands out most about Looker Studio is how easy it is to turn raw data into clean, interactive dashboards without much setup. The native integration with Google tools like Sheets, Analytics, Search Console, and BigQuery makes data pulling in pretty seamless.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

A few things could be better in Looker Studio. Performance can slow down with a larger dataset or complex dashboards, which affects the overall experience. Also, some parts of the UI feel a bit clunky when trying to fine-tune layouts or design.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio helps bring all our marketing and performance data into one place, instead of jumping between multiple tools and spreadsheets. It makes it easier to track key metrics, spot trends, and share updates with stakeholders through a single dashboard.
The biggest benefit is saving time on reporting. Once the dashboards are set up, data updates automatically, so we can focus more on analysis and decision-making rather than manual work.

 ### 4. Looker Studio Centralizes Our Data with Effortless, Quick Real-Time Dashboards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BAALAJI M. | Business Development Manager , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

What I like best about Looker Studio is how it helps me track my business data effectively in one single place. Working in business management, I deal with a lot of different data points and revenue tracking daily. Looker Studio makes it easy to pull all that information together so I’m not jumping between different spreadsheets. It’s a free tool that connects directly to Google Sheets and Ads, which saves me hours of manual reporting. I love the drag-and-drop features that let me build professional dashboards that stay updated automatically. It gives me a clear, real-time view of our performance without the usual headache of manual data entry.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Nothing so far. I feel the user interface could be upgraded to look better and feel more polished.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone in business management, my biggest challenge used to be fragmented data. Revenue lived in one system, marketing spend in another, and day-to-day operations were scattered across various Google Sheets. It was nearly impossible to see the “big picture” without bouncing between a dozen tabs. Looker Studio fixed that by pulling everything into one centralized dashboard. Now it serves as my “single source of truth,” so I can track business performance and revenue in one place.

It has also removed the stress of manual reporting. I used to spend hours copy-pasting numbers, which was not only time-consuming but also easy to get wrong. With Looker Studio, the data syncs automatically and stays accurate in real time. I can make faster decisions because I know I’m looking at today’s numbers, not last week’s. The drag-and-drop interface is another major plus—I don’t need to be a data scientist to build clean, professional reports that clearly show our growth. Overall, it’s turned a complex, messy process into something simple and organized, letting me focus on running the business instead of managing spreadsheets.

 ### 5. Beginner-Friendly with Quick Insights, Needs Deeper Analytical Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shailesh J. | Quality Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I like that Looker Studio is easy to use and beginner-friendly. I remember when I started, I was able to pick it up quickly and repurpose things successfully. It's really user-friendly, even for beginners to understand data. I appreciate how it lets me analyze data efficiently with just a few clicks, which is super helpful in my day-to-day tasks. It's also definitely easy when it comes to setup, and I'd even rate it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

I think some data are not labeling that well. There's lots of data available, and I want to see some data in-depth. For that, I have to maybe, probably, modify data with help from our data release team or data science team. Some basic call sort analysis is missing.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Looker Studio for analyzing call data, making it easy to see total calls and call duration. It simplifies visualizing data and helps quickly identify call performance issues.

 ### 6. Useful for cross-channel reporting, with some limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candy N. | Global Digital Marketing Expert, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio is a useful tool for building shareable, real-time dashboards that pull data from multiple marketing channels. It’s flexible and visually customisable, and it makes it straightforward to present performance data to stakeholders in a clear, accessible format. I also find the ability to connect Google Ads, Analytics, and other data sources in one place especially helpful for reporting and keeping everything consolidated.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio can feel limited when it comes to more advanced data modelling and complex calculations. Performance may slow down with larger datasets, and some connectors can be unreliable or end up requiring workarounds. Customisation beyond the basic visualisations also feels somewhat restrictive, especially compared with more advanced BI tools.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio helps address the challenge of fragmented marketing data and the burden of manual reporting. It consolidates performance data from multiple channels into one shareable dashboard, which cuts down the time I spend pulling reports from different platforms. As a result, it’s easier to keep an eye on campaign performance, identify trends, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders. That said, for more advanced analysis, I often still need to rely on additional tools.

 ### 7. Free, Simple, Real-Time Data Visuals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

What I like best about Looker Studio is how easily it connects to all my data in one place. Since it’s a Google product, it links up instantly with things like Google Ads, Sheets, and Analytics without any technical setup. This saves me a massive amount of time because I no longer have to jump between different websites or manually copy numbers into a spreadsheet just to see how my projects are performing.

I also love the drag-and-drop design, which makes it simple to build professional-looking reports. You don't need to be a data expert or know how to code to create clear charts and tables that are easy to read. It gives me the flexibility to move things around and customize the look so that the most important information stands out, making the data feel much less overwhelming for anyone viewing it.

Finally, the real-time sharing and collaboration features are a huge plus. It works just like a Google Doc, so I can send a single link to my team or clients, and they always see the most up-to-date numbers. This solves the problem of sending out old PDFs that become outdated the next day. Being able to work on a report with others at the same time makes the whole process faster and keeps everyone on the same page.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

The biggest issue is that it can become very slow when you have a lot of data. If your report is pulling from a large spreadsheet or a complex database, the charts can take a long time to load or might even "break" and show an error message. It feels great for small projects, but as soon as your business grows and you have thousands of rows of information, the platform can start to feel laggy and unresponsive.

I also find the customization options a bit limited compared to other professional tools. While the drag-and-drop system is easy to use, there are times when you want to change a specific detail—like the exact placement of a label or a unique chart style—and the system simply won't let you do it. You often have to work around the tool’s rigid rules, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to make a report look exactly the way a client wants it.

Finally, blending data from different sources is often a headache. If you want to combine information from two different places (like matching your Facebook Ad spend with your Google Analytics sales), the "data blending" feature is prone to errors. It’s not very smart at matching things up automatically, so you often end up with missing numbers or confusing results that require a lot of manual troubleshooting to fix.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio solves the chaos of scattered data. By automating my reporting and turning complex numbers into simple visuals, it frees me up to spend my time actually growing my business instead of being stuck in a spreadsheet.

 ### 8. Looker Studio Makes Multi-Source Data Easy to Visualize and Share

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed Razeeth M. | Data engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I use Looker Studio for creating interactive dashboards and reports by connecting data from multiple sources such as Google Analytics, databases, and spreadsheets. It helps visualize data in a clear and meaningful way, making it easier to track performance, analyze trends, and share insights with teams or stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio can sometimes be slow when working with large datasets or complex dashboards, which affects performance. The customization options, while useful, can feel limited compared to more advanced BI tools. Occasionally, data connections may break or require reauthentication, which can interrupt workflows. Improving speed, adding more advanced customization features, and making data connections more stable would make the platform even better.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio helps solve the problem of scattered and hard-to-understand data by bringing information from multiple sources into one centralized dashboard. It makes data easy to visualize and interpret, which helps in faster decision-making. It also reduces manual reporting work by automating reports and allowing real-time data updates, saving time and improving efficiency.

 ### 9. Perfect tool for data visualisation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saïd K. | USER ACQUISITION MANAGER, Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

What I like best about Looker Studio is how easy it is to build dashboards that are directly connected to different datasources. I really like that I can plug spreadsheets, ads platforms, analytics tools, etc., and see everything in one single report. It’s quite fast to create simple visualisations and share them with other teams, even if they are not very data-savvy. For exemple, I can build a dashboard that shows acquisition KPIs by channel and it updates automatically without me reworking slides every week. The fact that everything is online makes collaboration really simple.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

What I like less about Looker Studio is that performance can become slow when there are too many charts or when the data source is heavy. Sometimes the dashboard takes a long time to load or refresh, which is a bit annoying when you just need a quick check. Some features feel a bit limited compared to more advanced BI tools, especially for complex calculations or modeling. Also, the design options are not always super flexible, so getting a dashboard to look “perfect” can take too much time. And when connectors break, it’s not always clear why.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio is solving the problem of manual reporting and data spread across too many tools. Before, we were exporting files and updating slides each week. Now, we can connect data sources once and dashboards are updated automatically (most of the time!). This saves a lot of time and reduces risk of human mistakes in Excel copy-paste.

It also helps to make data more visible for non-technical teams. People don’t need to go into each platform anymore; they just open a Looker Studio report and see the main KPIs for acquisition, funnel, or conversions. This improves alignment between teams and speeds up decision making. In the end, it helps us optimise budgets and focus on channels that are really performing, not only those with big volumes.

 ### 10. Effortless Data Visualization and Real-Time Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** V K. | Manager Digital Marketing, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio makes data visualization and reporting easy. It allows me to connect multiple data sources and create interactive dashboards without needing advanced technical skills.
I especially like the flexibility in customizing charts and reports, and the fact that dashboards update in real time makes it easy to share insights with stakeholders. It’s a great tool for turning raw data into clear, easy-to-understand visuals.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

While Looker Studio is very useful, there are a few things I dislike. The interface can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when working with large or complex data sources.
I’ve also noticed that some advanced customizations and calculations are limited, and troubleshooting data connection issues isn’t always straightforward. Better performance and more flexibility in advanced features would really improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio solves the problem of turning raw data from different sources into clear, visual reports. Instead of manually pulling data and creating static presentations, it lets me build live dashboards that update automatically.
This benefits me by saving time and making reporting much easier. I can quickly share insights with stakeholders, track performance in real time, and make data-driven decisions without relying heavily on technical or BI teams.

 ### 11. Unified and Easy-to-Use Dashboard, Ideal for Quick Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolás A. | Media Buyer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Having a single dashboard with data from all the platforms you use in your company makes report generation an automatic task. The portfolio of available platforms to connect data is very robust.

The learning curve is really short; it is a tool that, once you learn the basics, becomes very intuitive to create dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Data processing becomes limited, a programming language that falls short for performing slightly more advanced data analysis. Making connections or joins between data sources also makes the processing of those same connections impossible.

On the other hand, at the design level, the dashboards are basic.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduce the time burden in the preparation of recurring reports, allowing the team to focus on analysis, and not waste time on building dashboards or PowerPoints. It is a tool that anyone can use, and the reports become self-service.

 ### 12. Free, Customizable Reporting with Smooth Multi-Source Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor I. | Digital Marketing Analyist - Web Analytics & SEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

It's a free customizable report creator that can integrate multiple data sources. The filters provide the ability to clean data, and in some cases combine data from multiple data sources.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Some data connectors have limits for api pulls. The default setting in Looker pulls these sources on refreshes. It took a bit to learn how to prevent this in the settings by limiting data pulls.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue Looker Studio solves for us is being able to create interactive dashboards for stake holders to view data at their convenience.

 ### 13. Data Aggregation Powerhouse with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie F. | Vice President Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I love that Looker Studio can aggregate so many different sources of data. Once I got over the initial tough ramp-up, it's super simple to update. I also love that it's free. We're able to pull data from Freshbooks, tons of Google Sheets, and it blends them all into one concise report.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Not a ton of support. For being owned by Google, even Gemini isn't great at providing answers for how to use it. It can be glitchy and disconnect for no apparent reason. The learning curve is steep.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio aggregates different sources of data, like Freshbooks and Google sheets, blending them into concise reports for my marketing department's performance. It's free and, after overcoming a learning curve, simple to update.

 ### 14. Flexible, Powerful Dashboards That Make Data Actionable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

What I like best about Looker Studio is how flexible it is for turning data into visuals.

You can pull in multiple sources, like Google Analytics, Ads or Sheets, and see everything in one dashboard. The drag-and-drop interface makes building reports faster, and it’s easy to share with clients or teams.

It’s simple enough to create something useful quickly, but powerful enough to customise and drill into the details when needed. It makes data more understandable and actionable.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

What I dislike about Looker Studio is that it can be slow and a bit clunky with large datasets.

Some visualisations aren’t very flexible, and customisation can get frustrating if you need something outside the standard templates.

It also relies heavily on the data being clean—if your sources aren’t set up properly, the reports can be misleading or break easily.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio solves the problem of turning complex data into clear, visual reports.

For me, that means I can combine multiple sources—analytics, ads, spreadsheets—into one dashboard and see the full picture at a glance. It saves time digging through raw data, helps me spot trends quickly, and makes it easier to explain results to clients or stakeholders. Essentially, it turns numbers into insight that’s easy to act on.

 ### 15. Seamless Integration, Effective Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidur S. | Senior Client Services Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I primarily use Looker Studio for cross-channel ad campaign reporting, pulling data from Google Ads and Meta Ads. It solves the problem of manual reporting for me, saving hours each week. The seamless integration with the Google ecosystem is the best feature. I love the interactive tools like the date range selectors and campaign drop-down filters, allowing stakeholders to adjust and explore the dashboard on their own. Cost effectiveness, third-party connectors, and custom calculated fields all make Looker Studio a great reporting tool.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

The only thing would be the lag and slow loading time.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Looker Studio to automate cross-channel ad campaign reporting, solving manual reporting problems and saving hours weekly. The Google ecosystem integration, interactive tools, and cost-effective features make it a great reporting tool.

 ### 16. Fast, Easy Reporting with Looker Studio for Google Analytics & Search Console

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suayip Can O. | Founder and SEO Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

This is a really great tool for reporting data quickly and easily from frequently used platforms like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and sharing it with our clients.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio is weak when it comes to integrating data from third-party tools outside the Google ecosystem, such as Bing or Yandex. It also doesn’t let you sort comparative charts by “delta.” The only way to do this is by blending data, which makes the process longer and more time-consuming.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio has helped us solve our reporting needs with automated weekly and monthly reports, scheduled report delivery to clients, and clearer, easier-to-use visualizations for our GSC and GA4 data.

 ### 17. Visualize Data Effortlessly, High Initial Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan B. | Videographer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I use Looker Studio to show my analytics data from Google Analytics into an easy-to-use visual for my team, which makes sharing data straightforward. I really like the customization and the ability to change the date range and visualize specific data. The easy-to-use menus and options are quite helpful, and I appreciate that it gives me the data as a link that I can share.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

It took me a while to learn so the barrier to entry is quite high. I think having some training in the software would be helpful.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Looker Studio to show my analytics data in an easy-to-use visual for my team, solving data sharing and visualization problems effectively.

 ### 18. Unmatched Ease and Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel M. | Key Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I like the ease of use of Looker Studio, its integration with many data sources, and the customization it offers. I also value the data sources and the cross-referencing of information, as well as the advanced customization of reports. The initial setup is very simple, you can start using it in minutes thanks to the many templates available.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

The part about sharing reports, I think that management of permissions, alerts, and visualization is still very basic.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Looker Studio to build reports and dashboards that display key indicators. Solve the visualization of real-time indicators and facilitate the acquisition and processing of data.

 ### 19. Review

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

It becomes very slow sometimes and it takes sometimes to adapt to Changes in the Google Ads and Google Analytics changes in the connectors APIs

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single platform for realtime ad performance on different channels reporting saves a huge amount of time

 ### 21. Great for Google Sheets Dashboards

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

its part of Google, so it works well with Google Sheets and allows me to easily create live dashboards. There are many data sets that we can link and graphics to use.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

If you have several data sets it can be a bit confusing to use and refresh. Limited data on the free plan.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to build dashboards all within the Google ecosystem. This also makes it easier to share dashboards across teams.

 ### 22. A free and flexible BI tool for quick dashboards and planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan S. | Data Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I have used Looker studio mainly for building dashboards on top of data pipeline. The strongest part of tool is how easy it integrates with Google BigQuery and Google Sheets. once the data model are ready i can quickly connect them to Looker studio and build visualization without much setup. its a reliable tool for teams already working in the Google ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

it has limits. for very large datasets or complex joins, performance can be slow and customization options for visuals are not as advanced as what i find in Power BI or Tableau.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker studio helps me deliver dashboards quickly, empower stakeholders with self service reporting and reduce manual reporting workload its a reliable tool for data engineers. Once i create a data source, non technical users can interact with dashboards on their own, which reduce the number of ad hoc reporting requests i receive. sharing is also seamless since reports are accessible via links with access control.

 ### 23. Easy Custom Dashboards and Metrics with Drag-and-Drop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louise H. | Senior Performance Marketing Specialist | SEO, SEM, Paid Social & Analytics, Logistics and Supply Chain, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I can create my own dashboards with ease. The drag-and-drop solutions make it simple to build what I need. I also like that I can create my own measurements, such as conversion rate.

It makes turning raw data into clear, visual dashboards very easy, even when working with large datasets. I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with different data sources and how simple it is to customize reports to fit different business needs. Overall, it saves time and helps me communicate insights in a clear and professional way

 ### 27. Great (Free!) Data Visualization Tool That Keeps Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavishya J. | Search Engine Optimization Executive, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio makes it incredibly easy to build interactive, shareable dashboards and reports all without coding. The wide range of native connectors (Google Analytics, Google Ads, BigQuery, Sheets, etc.) and partner connectors makes it possible to combine data from multiple sources in one place.

The interface is fairly intuitive: drag and drop charts, easy filtering, and custom styling to match your brand. Plus, being cloud-based means reports are always live and easy to share with teams or clients.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Performance can slow down with large or complex datasets, especially when using multiple blended data sources. Some advanced visualization options and calculated metrics could be more user-friendly. Also, permissions management can get tricky on large teams.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps turn raw data into clean, visual dashboards that anyone can understand making reporting far more effective and less time-consuming.

For example, I use it to:
i) Track SEO KPIs (using Semrush + Google Search Console data)
ii) Visualize paid campaigns from Google Ads & Meta Ads
iii) Share automated weekly reports with clients and stakeholders

This saves hours of manual reporting and keeps everyone aligned with real-time data.

 ### 28. Auto email schedules

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnav A. | Customer Success Manager, Information Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I really enjoy how easy it is to pull data from Google tools like Analytics and Sheets into Looker Studio. The drag-and-drop feature lets me whip up dashboards quickly without needing to dive too deep into tech stuff, which saves me a ton of time. Plus, sharing reports with my team feels seamless, and the visuals look clean enough to impress clients without much effort on my part.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

I find it a bit frustrating that Looker Studio can slow down when dealing with large datasets, which sometimes makes it hard to work efficiently. The customization options also feel limited—things like advanced formatting or adding custom fonts are tricky, and the design flexibility isn’t as robust as I’d like. Plus, blending data from more than five sources gets clunky, which can be a hassle when I need a full picture from multiple sources.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio helps me tackle the headache of pulling together data from different Google tools like Analytics and Sheets into one clear view, saving me from manually juggling spreadsheets. It’s also great for turning raw numbers into easy-to-read visuals, which cuts down on confusion when I’m presenting to my team or clients. This benefit me by speeding up my workflow, letting me make faster decisions based on solid insights, and making my reports look professional without needing extra design skills—especially useful since I’m often on tight deadlines!

 ### 33. Looker Studio Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umaima M. | Team Lead - Marketing Data Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Intuitive, customizable data visualization.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Limited data connectors and offline mode.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio solves the challenge of transforming scattered data into clear, interactive reports.

I've found it invaluable for connecting disparate data sources (like Google Ads and Analytics) into one dashboard, which ended my manual, error-prone data compilation. This means I spend less time wrestling with spreadsheets and more time analyzing actual insights.

The biggest benefit is creating dynamic, shareable reports that automatically update. I no longer have to build static presentations; I just share a link, and stakeholders can filter and explore the data themselves. This has really improved our team's ability to make quicker, data-driven decisions.

However, I've faced challenges with its limited direct connectors to less common marketing platforms, sometimes requiring workarounds through Google Sheets. Also, its offline capabilities are minimal, which can be a hurdle when I need to review dashboards without an internet connection.
