"Intuitive, Scalable Localization That Streamlined Our Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

As someone who had never used localization software before, I was genuinely surprised by how intuitive Lokalise was from the start. Previously, all my workflows lived in spreadsheets, which quickly became messy and time-consuming to maintain.

Since switching to Lokalise, my entire process has become faster and far more organized. I rely heavily on the project dashboard, the key-based structure, and the search and filter tools. These make it easy to keep translations and UX copy structured and consistent. Sending strings to our translation team through tasks has been a major improvement. It is now a simple and streamlined step instead of a manual back and forth.

One unexpected benefit has been how much easier it is to maintain our UX copy through Lokalise. Lokalise’s clear interface and collaboration features mean nothing gets lost, repeated, or overwritten. It has also helped me catch inconsistencies in wording that I never would have spotted when everything lived in spreadsheets.

Overall, Lokalise has been a major quality of life upgrade. It has not only sped up my workflow. It has made the entire localization process feel cleaner, clearer, and much more scalable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

I have not come across any major downsides so far. The only limitation I have noticed relates to the Intercom integration. Intercom supports multiple help centres, but Lokalise does not currently allow you to filter content by help centre. This can make it a bit confusing when trying to manage or locate specific articles. It is possible that this limitation comes from the Intercom API itself, but from a user perspective it still creates some friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Multilingual App Maintenance with Effective AI Suggestions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

I use Lokalise to assist our copywriters with translating our app, and it helps in writing the best texts by allowing me to compare them with other languages. I like that Lokalise makes it easy to maintain an app with multiple languages. I'm pleased that there's a tool that serves this purpose. I also appreciate the good AI suggestions for my language, which I can rely on whenever I need to come up with a translation, as they provide help based on what we've previously written. Establishing a new branch of our app in Lokalise was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

Uploading screenshots is a hurdle. Copywriters need images to understand the context. But this feature has improved recently. The UI can be a bit tricky with tiny icons hiding crucial actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent API, Affordable, But Needs Predictability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

I like Lokalise for its great developer API, which lets us do custom integrations with our backends. This makes it possible for developers to push into GitHub and from there automate the process of picking up keys and pushing them to Lokalise. I also appreciate the good interface and reasonable prices. The feature set is great, and after an initial learning curve, using Lokalise is a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

Ad hoc projects are hard to figure out, and sometimes updating the documents shuffles keys around, so it's not 100% predictable. It would be better if the structure was more predictable when updating documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Translation Memory Rocks, But Needs Auto-Propagation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

I love Lokalise's Translation Memory feature; it's the best for me, and I would be lost without it. The user-friendly interface made it really easy for me to learn and use the tool quickly. Setting up Lokalise was very fast and easy, which was a big plus for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

I do not think Lokalise has an Auto-propagation feature, as far as I know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficiency Revolutionized by Lokalise"
5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

What I like most about Lokalise is that it really makes things easier. It goes quite fast and is simple to get the hang of. Even though the initial setup has its steps, I can easily switch from one environment to another with just a few clicks, whether it's for staging, pre-production, or production. I find it great to be able to correct translation keys live and see the updates happen quickly. It saves me a phenomenal amount of time, especially since I no longer need to do the translations manually. I am very satisfied with Lokalise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

What could be improved is the handling with Figma. Sometimes, transferring the translation keys from Figma to Lokalise using the same nomenclature is not straightforward, and it requires extra effort from the design side to ensure they are properly accounted for. Additionally, when I am on the live website, I sometimes struggle to find the correct translation key, which takes up my time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid localisation backbone but needs the guidance to match the feature depth"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

Centralising language management in one place still saves us a huge amount of time and reduces manual overhead. Being able to track progress, spot issues, and push updates across platforms from a single workspace keeps everything moving, especially as projects become more complex. The AI translation features are a strong addition as well. I’m still getting to grips with the full range of capabilities, but the overall direction feels right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

The original pain points from my last review are still present. Key conflict handling remains unclear. There’s still no way to flag when a source string has multiple translations for a specific language, which makes it harder to maintain UI consistency. Onboarding for advanced features like image recognition also still feels too thin.

The newer AI translation features highlight the same onboarding gap. It would be much more helpful to surface clashes after the initial scan, instead of leaving users to catch them manually. As a power user, I can tell the tools are there, but the guidance isn’t keeping pace with the growing feature set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Convenient and user-friendly layout. It contributes greatly in the progression of the work flow."
4/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

The user-friendly layout and how quickly it suggests alternative translation options really stand out. The live chat is also a great feature, and it’s something I’ve found missing from other relevant platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

No downsides. The platform provides very good tools that help me as a translator with my work, and so far everything has been working just fine. No problems have occurred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent translation tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

I find Lokalise's platform intuitive, which makes it easy to integrate and facilitates efficient collaboration between developers, translators, and project managers. I appreciate the centralized translation management and automation options. The platform gives me a clear overview of the translation progress across all languages, saving a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

I don't see any major areas for improvement. Maybe the UI could be more intuitive, by supplying any UX/UI best practices to the management pages. But overall, it's clear enough for us right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Localization Tool with Notable Downsides"
3/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

I think their customer support is very good, especially now that we have the proper subscription. The feedback is quick, and we can get answers to a lot of questions pretty easily. They also have good documentation for each issue, which is a good feature. Other than that, the Figma plugin is fundamental to everything we do because all the designs live in Figma, and we can push the variables directly from Figma, create keys, and attach screenshots, which is essential to what we do. So, I would say those two features are what I like most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

I would say the UI and custom user experience in Lokalise is actually quite bad. I would expect more of the software in itself how you navigate the different pages, how you structure your content etc. There are certain features that you don't understand or that are hard to find. It's not very intuitive to navigate or find what you're looking for which just makes it a hassle when you're trying to learn or do new things in the software. You really gotta put some time into it and understand how that works. It's too bad, because Lokalise seems to have a lot of powerful features for automation and improving your workflow. but there are many features that you don't understand or find on your own. The same goes for the Lokalise plugin in Figma. It takes some time to figure out how it works, but once it's up and running it's very powerful and solid workflow. So I would say it's quite a steep learning curve, and the user experience doesn't feel very modern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lokalise’s Glossary Database Makes Future Translations Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Lokalise?

For me, the best feature of Lokalise is its glossary database, which automatically saves the words we use so they’re available for future use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lokalise?

Maybe it’s just on my end, but sometimes it won’t let me finish tasks. When I click “Mark as done,” nothing happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
