Parsing and pivoting the data is easy with the support team as they do all the heavy lifting for us. Account team is friendly, professional and will do anything to make you happy. The SOC2 compliance is important and made us trust Logz.IO instead of the competition. Cognitive Insights is useful for error messages and points to Stack Overflow. Live-Tail is a new feature, very nice. Allows you to see the data stream before it's parsed. Pre-maid dashboards are awesome. Integration screen makes it simple to integrate with other OS's, devices and technologies. **What do you dislike about Logz.io?** Not able to see the parsing currently configured on the account. Not having Private insights which I hope is in the road-map. Alerting could be more sophisticated, for example - anomaly detection, resource starvation algorithms. **Recommendations to others considering Logz.io:** They can do virtually anything needed. I'm sure it would have taken someone on their side just 5 minutes to prepare an example. The support is very helpful and customer friendly. Guides are provided on how to, in case of problems support is happy to help you get started. **What do you dislike about Logz.io?** Custom logstash filters must be applied by Logz.io staff. We build a test environment on site with custom grok filters, for some reason they were not compatible with Logz.io and took a week or two to get converted/rewritten. **Recommendations to others considering Logz.io:** After the first meeting with Logz.io, send some log examples and describe what type of data you want to visualize, this ay they will be able to help you very easy and get started with visualizations in Kibana. **What problems is Logz.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are generating ~0,7GB of logs per day, even if that's not very much. It's simply too much to check in real-time. We use Logz.io to visualize the different type of logs and to trace messages to versions of our software (or specific customer systems). ### 16. Their support is amazing - very quick and always ready to help. **What do you dislike about Logz.io?** Setting up certain filters and the addition of new log types needs to be done by support. But their support is amazing and they have a very fast turnaround. **Recommendations to others considering Logz.io:** If you're looking for a service like this, I think Logz.io is definitely worth your time and consideration. I really cannot say anything bad about them. It takes time, money and expertise. Even using the Amazon ready-made elasticsearch stack costs money and still requires expertise and a learning curve. Logz.io made it possible for me to hardly invest any time in setting up ELK and they take care of all of the maintenance and setup for me. I pay less for my monthly subscription than I would for a small elasticsearch stack in AWS and I get service and results. **What do you dislike about Logz.io?** I don't like getting a Ph.D on every open source software I use - Logz.io took a big one off my curriculum :-) **Recommendations to others considering Logz.io:** Their basic monthly subscription simply beats the other options. I was looking for a logmanagment which supports CloudFoundry all over and tried many of them, but none has really satisfied my needs. When I contacted Logz.io the first time, there was no CloudFoundry support on there platform either, but together we established a working configuration in no time and now CloudFoundry is officially supported in the way I wanted it. And because they use Elasticsearch and Kibana, we where able to leverage our knowledge. ELK apps are a great addition too, but unfortunate there are none for CloudFoundry yet... **What do you dislike about Logz.io?** It would be great If I could define additional parsing rules my self (e.g. extract app specifics), but on the other hand, as I sad: the support is great! **What problems is Logz.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Logz.io provides access to our logs and allows us to use the data for usage analyzes from within Kibana. ### 21.
