I like that the product is always evolvning to the new standards that are on the market right now. I really like the support side from a technical standpoint. Great product.

I think that Logpoint have some challenges around the development of new features, that already is a standard, from a technical standpoint, on other SIEM products.

Logpoint is both solving the problems with customers that that lack insight in their eviorment, but also the responsibilities that customers have against their organisation.

You must know well how to configure the alarms so that it does not show repeated data, I have had to contact support many times to help me get the system working it fails if too much data is collected

It run like a charm, no need to spend too much time to MCO.
The evolution of the product in 4 years of usages are great.

Some annoying bug in our distributed infrastructure.
The complexity of the workflow to add a new source and no global view of source with routing policy / enrichment policy/destination repository....

It collect a large amount of logs and let us investigate in it even if they aren't normalized well.

The ease of use of the dashboard, there is so much information even after filtering SIEM products but LogPoint really makes it easy to sort the wheat from the chaff.

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

The downside of any SIEM solution is the vast about of information you need to filter and refine to get to what's important, of the several I have used LogPoint made it comparatively easy.

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest issues after the actual filtering of information is managing the filters to ensure they remain up to date in line with the changes that may be made in the format of the various logs and events, LogPoints SOAR technology as well as the core SIEM functionality takes a lot of the leg work out and filters intelligently.

For our organization the LogPoint SIEM was easy to implement, in addtion it provides many predefined alerts and dashboards in comparison to its competitors. LogPoint is easy to handle even with limited personnel effort.

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

Sometimes the performance and loading times are poor, even with strong underlying hardware, but the provided vendor support is able to optimize this from time to time.

**Recommendations to others considering Guardsix:**

According to our internal and regulatory requirements, LogPoint provides a very mature and user-friendly SIEM system, which is developed in Europe with an CC EAL3+ certification on top. Due to our limited budget, the pricing and overall costs were reasonable. LogPoint is easy to handle even with limited personnel effort. In addition, LogPoint provides fast and great personally support. We recommend LogPoint for an implementation in SMEs of the industrial sector.

It goes without saying LogPoint users from all works of life which include individual organizations, managed service providers, and practitioners are in agreement of LogPoint strength in:
•	It is more affordable than the competition.
•	Excellent Technical Support Team.
•	Speedy Log Normalization creation for unknown Logs.
•	Solid built SIEM architecture.
•	Excellent License Model.
•	The integration of UEBA give analysts a powerful solution that allows them to quickly determine normal versus abnormal activity on their networks.
o	UEBA provides the three alert components threshold, statistics and machine learning. The latter machine data, allow analyst to quickly identify meaningful insights, determine root causes and bring data to the most pressing use cases.

LogPoint is customer focused, because it addressed the major concern expressed by its users in its lack of integrated SOAR.
LogPoint releases LogPoint 7 integrated SOAR capabilities within its SIEM on January 19, 2022, thus putting this concern to rest or sleep. LOL
This makes LogPoint’s SIEM a powerful integrated architecture platform for accelerated detection, investigation, and response.
And best part about “LogPoint 7” upgrade, it gives its existing customers SOAR at No Additional Cost and packed with out-of-box use cases, playbooks, and ready-to-use integrations, LogPoint 7 makes cybersecurity automation available for organizations of all sizes.

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

Actually, there is nothing to dislike with the new integrated SIEM architecture!  Adding more playbooks and runbooks will not hurt.

**Recommendations to others considering Guardsix:**

LogPoint addresses the cybersecurity needs of any organization regardless of size, especially to organization looking toward implementing Zero Trust architecture. 
Given the integrated SIEM architecture and its tools, I will highly recommend LogPoint to any potential customer.

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The  problem I am  solving with LogPoint SIEM is cybersecurity.

Some of the benefits of being a LogPoint customers is that the customers gets SOAR, a tool that will automate the mundane parts of a SOC analyst.
With the availability of SOAR, the SOC analysts don’t have to check low-level alerts and clearing logs. Instead, the OSC analyst can use critical thinking to solve hard problems, and let SOAR solve the easy ones.
SOAR enables analysts to pull bigger threats and make them more effective. Having LogPoint’s integrated SEIM platform that utilizes AI and ML solutions will help any organization drive its cyber operations in to the future.
Being able to dynamically configure networks to support Automation and orchestration will help any organization matching to towards Zero Trust.

the licencing is the best format for my company. The support is competent and alwaays available. Logpoint want to work with their partners and do meeting to speak about their roadmap

The cost of all the other modules is expansive, like UEBA or Director. No specific plugins for public cloud (use umbrella to connect to S3 bucket, no GCP plugin).

Logpoint solve a lot of problem about the security of my company. It permits to store all the logs we need to investigate, to corelate the logs of few equipments and to create alerts and dashboard to help.

**What do you like best about Guardsix?**

It is a very comprehensive solution for gathering data. It has got a lot of capabilities for collecting logs from different systems. LogPoint has a very sophisticated mechanism for you to be able to connect to or listen to a system, get the data, and parse it. Logs come in text formats that are not easily parseable because all logs are not the same, but with LogPoint, you can define a policy for collecting the data. You can create a parser very quickly to get the logs into a structured mechanism so that you can analyze them!

Everything works so far, performance issues are easily fixed by the support team.

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Service delivery using LogPoint SIEM had been made easy. It has provided us with much greater visibility on Incident Response, Log Analysis, Log Monitoring, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Threat Intelligence and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA).

Search Templates are very useful.  You can define a set of searches across multiple log sources, and display them on a single page.  You can then enter a search term to look for across all the searches you've defined.  This has made investigating account lockouts much quicker and easier.  I just type in the username, and I can see all bad logins from email, wireless, domain joined PCs etc

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

The UI is not the most intuitive.  Things are sometimes hidden in places you would not expect.  For example, the search templates are in Settings > Knowledge Base.  The ability to use search templates as an easily accessible dashboard would be invaluable, but is currently not possible.  Granular permissions would also be desirable.  I want our helpdesk to be able to see account lockout details, but not firewall logs for example.

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has provided us with much greater visibility, and accelerated investigations.  Instead of having to search logs on multiple systems, we can now look in one place and find everything we need.  Account lockouts could take days to investigate, now we can see all the relevant information in seconds

The fact that the system does not really monitor itself and tends to fall apart slowly without warning makes it necessary to keep an eye open all the time.

Ensure you have the necessary specs,  plan in advance if you need your Logpoint infrastructure to be scalable. Do not hesitate to ask for help with those aspects.

We use it mainly for security purposes. We mostly check for malicious trafic and content inbound and logpoint helps us alot  with that.

Logpoint is being used primarily as the security tool in the ordansation, correlating various logs into one place. Using disparate security and network tools can make central visibility difficult, but Logpoints scalable infrastructure makes this possible.

LogPoint is easy to use, and to maintain, and it is a solution I recommend for smaller teams, which want to quickly get into exploiting their data.
Moreover, the addition of the SOAR module in LogPoint version 7.0 definitely expands the possibilities of this solution.

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

The ease of use makes this solution a little less flexible when encountering edge cases.
Moreover, the interface needs a little more work, although it has steadily been improving, and with the coming version 7.0, a lot of great things can be expected.

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, LogPoint is mainly implemented to get a better overview of the security logs of my customer's environments, as well as improve the troubleshooting and investigation possibilities of the IT teams.

I like the predefined Reports best because they allow me to quickly get compliant with most Security and Data Protection Standards.

Selling logpoint ist quite challenging due to the price.

We selected LogPoint because we are an MSSP and the product integrations/API's enable us to configure and customize the SIEM for our customers. We did a comparison with other SIEM solutions and found that LogPoint fits our requirements best.

We did a lot of research on the product and platform and as I mentioned, LogPoint is the best fit for our SIEM as a service offering. We would like to see more MSSP updates.

Visibility, Monitoring, and remediation are critical for us to provide our SIEM as a service for our customers. Giving them that assurance that we are providing that service is essential.

Jack is an incredibly knowledgeable and professional salesperson, he has provided second to non support to my customer and I. We have been provided with a wealth of informtion, references and contacts to mitigate customer concerns. LogPoint demonstrates well and customers are impressed with the capabilities of the solution.

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

I do not see a downside to the solution. It does, however, require customers that are willing to invest in their security environment, although government funding can help in this area. Microsoft is also building a strong campaign for Sentinel while we are working with our account manager and are confident in the capabilities of LogPoint, especially following the SOAR integration; Microsoft products may be seen as advantageous to customers with a heavy Microsoft presence.

Giving customers complete visibility and manageability of their security posture. This will vary from customer to customer.

The product just works and when it doesn't the support is second to none.

The older product had to be tuned by support on a regular basis, but that's been addressed in the latest updates.

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially, it was a requirement for a compliance regime, but it's being used to record the vast majority of our logs, with more being added soon. We use it for reporting for various compliance regimes and for alerting to potential issues it is seeing in the logs. It's a great value product that regularly gets new features.

**What do you like best about Guardsix?**

All in one design and easy setup, we have been up and running after just a few days. The helpo & support from Logpoint.
Much easier to start and faster setup than the Competition. We use SIEM, UEAB and the Director and we use it for our Operational Monitoring in multiple areas. Many ready to use Dashboards, Searches and Reports. These out-of-the-Box stuff can be used without or with just little changes. Secially the SAP Integration saved us a huge amount of SAP customization. 
Logpoint helped us to save a lot of work when it comes to regulations like GDPR the OOTB reports are great.

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

Like with most of the Software vendors the product quality could be better. User searches are not as nice and easy as with some of the competitor products. In the SOAR area, we are waiting for an integrated solution

**What problems is Guardsix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved the Security monitoring and alerting needed for certification. 
Control and Reporting of access to personal data regulations from EU
reduced the time an information requests from  customer regarding access to their data  from 2 days to 2 Minutes  
very fast time to value with the integration into the Incident Management and the predefined alerts
Eliminated the need to hire staff in the Security area     
Reduced the FTE in the traditional Event Management & Monitoring by replacing large parts with LogPoint Dashboards

We have had some delays around the deliveries of licenses, but I think that is being solved right now.

We are selling LogPoint and customer finds that LogPoint helps them to release more time to do things that really matter. Less searching and more solving.

Easy understandable setup and configuration. Most likely, the licensing model based on data sources and not volumes is a big advantage and provides a predictable cost

**What do you dislike about Guardsix?**

Sometimes lack of integration of newer or complex data sources which depend on Logpoint support, sources with complex (e.g., free form logs) are hard to implement. Sometimes the documentation can be more advanced or be easier to understand.

A very good product especially when you see the prize compared to similar systems

Collecting and Correlating Log Informations from certain devices and quickly analyze them to stay in control and be aware of security issues
