## Logos Reviews
  ### 1. All My Biblical and Theological Study Resources in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob B. | Director of Free Online Education, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Logos?**

I can find all of my resources for Biblical and theological studies in a single place.

**What do you dislike about Logos?**

The resources are nearly as expensive as physical resources.

**What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logos makes it easy for all our students to receive their resources, wherever they are, in a single place, designed for study and reseach.

  ### 2. A great library with more than you need

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Logos?**

While Logos is a library with hundreds of resources (Bible translations, dictionaries, commentaries, books, etc.), I use it mainly for Bible Study. There are other tools such as Youversion's Bible app that have so many features that using it as a proper Bible study tool is veri inconvenient (i.e, using their search to find a specific verse).
I like the fact that I can lookup the original greek/hebrew words, I can highlight, add notes, and search the entire library for topics, words, specific verses, etc.

**What do you dislike about Logos?**

I have many resources in my library, but I always end up using less than 10. Their pricing is fair (less than 4USD per resource), and I understand that one of the reasons they can give that pricing is that they sell in bulk. But if you plan to use Logos as I do (just Bible Study), I highly recommend you look for some free alternatives (such as Biblegateway+BibleHub or eSword) before purchasing one of Logos' packages. If you plan on getting Logos, please check the resources' list beforehand and make a list of the ones you'll definetily use, and see if the package's price makes sense if you'd only end up using those.

If you enjoy reading and discovering new books and plan on using Logos as a library (as they intend you to use), and not just for Bible Study, go ahead and get the best package you can afford.

**What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to have a Hub for my Bible Studies, I use logos and don't really need any other tool. I like their smartphone app as well and I use it as my main Bible app. All your highlights, notes and library are synced between all your devices, so you can study on the go and take quick notes on the go. They even have a web version of the app, so no matter where you are, you can access your entire library.

  ### 3. Good product but expensive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jami B. | Associate Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Logos?**

I can find anything basically for studying the Word of God. They offer free books each month, which adds to my library, and I love that!

**What do you dislike about Logos?**

The price was high, and the price for upgrades was high as well.

**What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can study the Word of God efficiently because I have access to many commentaries.

  ### 4. The Best Study Bible Tool!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel S. | Digital E-Commerce Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Logos?**

It's an amazing and powerful program filled with so much helpful tools for the serious bible student and an interface that you can customize to your own style of learning.

**What do you dislike about Logos?**

It is expensive depending on the package you plan to buy. Logos does offer a payment plan. But, in the end it is expensive. Yet, you can compare the total value of the package versus actual retail purchase.

**What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to save a lot of space from the many books being offered and books that may no longer be available. Tools that can help the search and research at a much faster pace. The ability to use it on PC's, tablets and smartphones any where.

  ### 5. In-Depth and More than Enough

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Worship Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Logos?**

Logos is a perfect companion to anyone pursuing seminary. The large, reputable library of translations and supporting commentaries are useful at developing a rock-solid theology and a deeper understanding of beliefs.

**What do you dislike about Logos?**

While the software is valuable, the learning curve can be a bit overwhelming when navigating the resoures.

**Recommendations to others considering Logos:**

When combined with pastoral study, undergraduate work, seminary studies, or just for fun, use Logos to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge for what, how, and why you believe what you do. Use the software with an open mind and allow yourself to be a sponge while learning and preparing.

**What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logos software aids in writing papers and doing research on biblical theology and history.

  ### 6. Good overall bible software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Logos?**

Use it to read Martin Luther’s Works and various Bible translations and looking at the original texts.

**What do you dislike about Logos?**

Some times it’s slow to load on the computer but works flawlessly on mobile devices.

**Recommendations to others considering Logos:**

It’s great, use it and enjoy. Get Martin Luther Works. Also buy a mainstream bible text and original bible texts.

**What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to carry around multiple scripture texts all time.
