What do you like best?

Ability to to do retirement goal planning and break that down into a variety of goals such as retirement income for life, extra travel in retirement for a limited number of years, vehicle purchases every X number of years, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish that one could input the shortage in Social Security easily into the retirement calculations. This can be done in a manual difficult way, but it should be able to be done in an easier manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It does take a little time to figure out some workarounds, but this is a good system to use. Make sure you plan on having time to get up to speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Social security optimization, summary showing difference between what you are saving now and what you need to save, net worth statement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

pages for retirement cash flow and balances are too complicated for the average client to understand, with stacked bars and a hard to read net cash flow line with about 10 different color bars.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try it out using free trial. Some will like it for it's flexibility and being comprehensive. I personally thought it was too much. Most clients prefer reporting simplicity, which this software falls short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It definitely shows advisors and clients numbers that point to confidence in making investment and retirement decisions, such as when to retire, how aggressive do we need to be, and which pension option to take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's a very clean interface for the most part. The software guides you through proposals and makes it challenging to mess anything up. Integrates with other software that we use, which is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It's incredibly slow. There are a lot of extra steps that could/should be skipped over in proposal generation, and every single page needs to reload for any minor change, which makes the processes tedious and time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use their Envestnet software to construct and manage advisory portfolios for our clients. It helps us aggregate information and transact across many portfolios. If set up correctly, can help speed up the process of rebalancing or switching funds across multiple accounts. What do you like best?

FinanceLogix is very easy to use and navigate. We are able to store all sorts of information on the platform and focus more on clients and building business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

My company has only been using the software for a short period of times. I havent personally gotten any negative reviews from those in my company who work with the program. However, if I find something I’d be sure to let you know! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
