Its Slack integrations/filtering are sophisticated. And the filtering system is flexible and appealing. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** Logikcull lacks necessary features for larger document sets. In particular: - Cannot produce a random sample without a silly excel workaround. - Search features are not robust. For example, you cannot search for "Privileged" while skipping common signature lines (e.g., "Privileged and Confidential email"). - Cannot search by ID for more than 1,000 documents at a time. Because of the search issue above, I sent all the extracted text entries to another party to run the search and send me a list of emails that only included the search term in the context of the signature line text. I got 80,000 results -- and had to run EIGHTY searches to mass-code them all. Logikcull cannot accept coding by overlay, and therefore searching for doc IDs 1,000 at a time was the best solution customer support could recommend. - Predictive coding system lacks the best feature of other PC/CAL systems, which is identifying likely non-responsive documents that may be excluded from review, subject to validation. The way you can tag with pre-made tags and custom tags, assign documents to users, and the downloading feature allowing you to customize your bates labels, endorsements, and production file type without losing quality are functions that simply cannot be beat. The user interface is not only very easy to use but it's a breeze to teach others as well. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** It would be helpful to be able to do more things in the "bulk" action, though many features are planned to be implemented. They're transparent with their users about timing of implementations so it's not something that will always just be "coming soon". **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** We receive massive amounts of documents that often have duplicates, attachments, empty files, etc. The filtering process is extremely helpful, such as deduping on a global scale and cutodian level. We often receive massive inbox files and hard drives of computers and phones. I cannot begin to imagine the time it would take to review by hand or with other e-discovery platforms I've used. Other software I looked at was clearly designed to be used only by larger firms with tech support teams. Tagging documents and creating tags in realtime while reviewing is very easy and makes organization much simplier. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** Only one instance of Logikcull can be used at a time. Meaning, that if you are reviewing a batch of documents, and find somethign interesting, you can't simply open a new tab a start a new search, while the exisiting search remains in place. There are no clear document ID numbers. Before a document has been produced, if you want to reference it, or easily go back to it, you have to rely on a cumbersome long hash number to identify the document. **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is the platform the client chose to perform e-discovery for litigation support. As document review platforms go, it is one of the simplier ones on the market. Rather than wasting time contacting the vendor to set up search templates, or move between document productions, nearly all search tasks can be performed independently. Additionally, the actual speed of the platform is much better than most on the market. You aren't waiting for documents to load; you can easily move to the next document in the search results; tagging can be done via assignable keyboard shortcuts. ### 29. One recent addition which caught my eye: the ability to redact the transcription text from an A/V file, and Logikcull will BLEEP the corresponding audio segment. We used to use Adobe for searches, redactions, and everything, and when we wanted to find an email from one specific person we would have to search the entire download of 3000+ pages. With Logikcull, we are able to search a project with the To:/From: option since Logikcull captures all the email addresses in the project. We can be more precise and faster in our searches. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** We need the ability to be able to select keywords or information for redaction in a document without having to "accept the redaction. Once we accept it, it is blacked out for good, but we need the ability to select the information for review because we send it to the AG's office for decision. However, the final redaction is contingent on the AG accepting or denying our argument to withhold. If AG allows us to withhold information then we want to be able to go back and "accept" the redaction. You can review the entire project documents immediately using simple search features that are easy to understand and use for anyone. In addition, when I get stuck in a problem or have questions about a function, I can chat to the technician immediately and they always know what I need to do or how to do it. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** I would like to work more easily with documents for the production of trial exhibitions. Logikcull is very useful for discovering, but it is difficult to create a trial exhibition. Also, once you download a document, I would like to see all the downloaded documents in one PDF instead of searching for different folders. **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our review and production processes have been simplified with Logikcull. Previously, it was tricky and everywhere, but a lot of people reviewed the documents and tried to organize them manually, or used more expensive Relativity hosting, and it was a few days of learning how to use it for new users. Now we upload, new users learn how to check in a few minutes and we produce quickly and easily. ### 49. Developing criteria can be the most difficult aspect of data assessment. Logikcull offers a plethora of criteria options and "thinks" for you. Logikcull includes a built-in 24/7 support system that is simple to use. When I needed assistance from support, the person I spoke with was informative, knowledgeable, and simple to communicate with. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** So far, I'm not aware of any disadvantages to using Logikcull. My organization's only stumbling block has been using it so extensively that we fast exhaust our data plan capacity. The next issue I discovered was the inability to search reg phrases and the lack of analytical tools such as a heat map etc. **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** Logikcull assists us with our eDiscovery requirements by storing information in a single location and original forms. It makes redactions easier. Logikcull makes responding to and managing public records requests much easier and faster. It greatly simplifies the process of reviewing documents and categorizing them as responsive or non-responsive, privileged or confidential, searching for and flagging keywords, phrases, and concepts, and creating production sets and logs. ### 50. Logikcull's tech team totally walked me through the process, from creating searches, assigning review sets, creating and adjusting tags, review procedure and finally production. It turned a potentially very intimidating experience into a seamless task. We've also used a number of other review platforms in the past.
