## LogicMonitor Reviews
  ### 1. Great out of the box, customisation less so.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

You can get your whole environment monitored and alerting in a very fast time, almost everything is built and it just works.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

When you want to change the way it reports, or report on specific metrics. Things that it doesn't have built in, it's not intuitive and often requires support calls and takes time.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us know if there's critical issues or about to be in the network.

  ### 2. Reliability over the years

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

fits us very well for onpremise monitoring.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

some data sources are difficult to configure

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administration with SCCM was complicated and less reliable, requiring more people to administer it.

  ### 3. A platform that gets you right into the action

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LM has simplified the data gathering process by bringing you automatic datasources, based on device type, that provide information on the metrics you need. Instead of spending hours building out all the monitors you need, they have it available for you on day 1.

Additionally, you can build out custom event sources, property sources or datasources that gather unique data or metrics that you may need for specific devices or device types.

Metric graphs/dashboards are easy use, build, clone or share. This platform allows you and your organization to get right into the middle of the action instead spending time hunting for the information you need.

Additionally, the LM porfessional services team was fantastic during the initial implementation and the customer support reps continue to support well!

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new ui.... it's an adjustment. I understand what they are trying to do, but I don't think it's the right direction. It's too busy and still much slower than the old UI.

Additionally, historical alert reporting is difficult when you take into consideration SDT schedules, whether recurring or scheduled once. You cannot get a historical report of ACTIONABLE alerts because it lumps in alerts that "occured" while the device was in SDT. The SDT tag is automatically cleared from an alert once the alert clears, which muddies the water A LOT with downstream reporting. Reporting and this issue could definitely benefit from some improvement initiatives.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Heighten visibility with the amount of datasource monitoring available

  ### 4. Powerfull platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | Manager Technical Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It is a really powerfull platform to monitor environments. We really like the easiness we can build and tweak device support as well the possibilities to proactively spot issues for our customers

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

We are an MSP and use the platform as a multi-tenant platform. The platform seems not to be build as a real multi-tenant environment. You have to be really carefull to be sure you don't show data to other customers then where the data is coming from.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor helps to deliver proactive managed services towards our customers. Because it is a Cloud Platform we don't have to maintain a lot of backend systems which helps us in our operational costs.

  ### 5. No fuss infrastructure monitoring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor provides a wide range of monitoring features that allows us to keep tabs on various aspects of our IT infrastructure. LogicMonitor scales well with our growing infrastrucure. As our company expands and out IT environment becomes more complex, the platform continues to provide value, reliable performance and effective monitoring without major adjustments. LogicMonitor also has a massive Product Documentation available online.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

As with other monitoring platform, there is a learning curve that admins had to go through. The current switching between UI is also disorienting. APM can be improved. When we trialled, there were no dynamic out of the box dashboards with the ability to drill down as needed and pricing is span-based which is not really a fit for the App that we are trying to monitor which generates millions of spans per month.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fragmented tooling, we now have a single pane of glass to monitor our infrastructure.

  ### 6. Modern Cloud-based Infrastructure Monitoring platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

When reviewing a number of competitor platforms, LogicMonitor stood out for a few key reasons:

- Dashboarding and reporting capability
- Cloud based monitoring capability via API
- Advanced Alerting capability and customisations
- Ticked all of our requirements from a security and compliance perspective
- From pre-sales to implementation and now on-going relationship management, the people behind the product have reinforced that our decision to go with LogicMonitor was the right one

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Price - It's not the cheapest platform out there but we still see value in the product.
Reporting - For advanced reporting requirements, there is some custom work required to join datasets etc. but thats probably more a comment in relation to our bespoke requirements

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- We were able to remove a number of monitoring platforms and consolidate down to LogicMonitor.
- As a Managed Services Provider who specialises in the Microsoft Cloud, the API based monitoring for Azure is giving us more visibilty than we ever had before
- Integrations into our internal ITSM and communication platforms has been great
- Allowing us to build out dashboards/reports and giving our customers access to these dashboards has been a positive

  ### 7. Logical LogicMonitor

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Easy to configure. Comprehensive suite of DataSources (checks). Good return on investement with out-of-box configuration options providing powerful insights that immediately lower MTTR. Great product support, be it through well maintained documentation or customer support. Extensible and easy to integrate into systems such as ITSM or messaging tools for alert notifications. Easy to implement with bootstrap based collector deployment. A product I find myself using more and more as part of my day to day as it's features and the depth of information it extends becomes more prevalent and critical to BAU operation.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It is unfortunate that datapoints are unable to return text values. Whilst text can be parsed to represent an outcome it's abstraction to an integer obfuscates information. There are some configuration elements of the system that do not lend themselves to scalability. Dashboards and graphical representation of data isn't quite as configurable as with other products within the same space.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administrative overheads associated with custom monitoring tool deployment, management and development.

  ### 8. Use it every day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Provided you have a reasonable understanding of your architecture the LogicMonitor suite provides a great overview of the landscape, and highlights the areas requiring attention with sufficient detail to indicatre where to start working to resolve any issues. We use it several times a day so it is a part of our workflow, though mostly used at the start of the day. We make extensive use of a custom dashboard we have specific to our requirements and is a fantastic jumping-off point for issue determination and resolution. It has saved a fair amount of time as well, and helped identify patterns both intra-daily as well as over longer periods. No complaints, thouhg realise there's a lot left to work through

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

There is a lot of detail, can be overwhelming if you are not well-vesed in yourt enviornment. This is actually a good thing though, as you can get up to speed quickly with what you have, and it is clear the areas that require attention, which is hte whole point.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patterns of issues are easily identified

  ### 9. Perfect for fullstack Voice Engineering

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose B. | Voice Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

In my opinion Flexibility is the best feature about LogicMonitor.

The platform's ootb multi-vendor Data/Property/Config/etc sources allows great integration for the collection of metrics we care to have and the way we want the whole Voice environment interact with LogicMonitor. If there is nothing available, LogicMonitor has a lot of options to explore and be able get the needed results.

Not only on a system perspective, but also on a Human perspective, I think Logicmonitor provides excelent professionals and the help we need to keep evolving and bring value on the usage of LM.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Current hybrid stage on the UI creates challenges on finding the desired fileds to configure, and maybe that is the only thing that I "dislike" about LogicMonitor.

For the rest, considering your experience with other clients, I would like to see more initiative from LM side to "teach us" the HOW and best practices/solutions were put in place on similar fullstack environments like ours. Topics like Observability and OTel would be great to learn more from your side about this.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have great control about the Health state of our environment. System maintenances, implementations or changes, we have good visibility about the behaviors of our systems & services. This visibility allows to make a good planning of the work ahead of time which benefits the whole team.

  ### 10. Booking.com - Quick and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I have the below comments about the things I like about LogicMonitor:
Ease of Use: Platform is easy to use and navigate.
Ease of Implementation: Quick and easy to get this setup, main delays are setting up the connectivity permissions on network devices.
Customer Support: Live chat function is really useful (when it works).
Numbers of Features: Platform is feature rich with support for most depoloyments.
Ease of Integration: A lot of good intergrations out of the box such as: Slack, ServiceNow, PagerDuty.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I have the below comments about the things I dislike:
Integrations: We are currently lacking integration with Aruba Central for our SD-BRANCH and also Aruba UXI which is used for user experience testing. (Aruba UXI uses webhooks which LM does not support).
Ease of Use: I find the new UI difficult to use sometimes with a lot of things hidden away in menus, also have difficult with moving multiple device groups collectors to a new group.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started out LM journey we were using a in-house solution built by developers internally. The solution itself worked perfectly and did the job we needed, but with it being in-house means that we started to notice things being left out due to lack of maintenance. We also had problems whenever we wanted to make any changes, as we were completely reliant on resources from the dev teams.

With LM we manage everything ourselves meaning we can keep it up to date and make any changes we need, also with the team having a lack of dev know-how we find the platform really easy to use and configure using the GUI. Changes can be made with a few clicks in the platform that would of previously took weeks, this helps improve our Operational function overall.

We use the platform not only for network device monitoring but for service monitoring by utilizing LM Service Insight. This is allowing us to report on network availability which we include as part of monthly operational reviews. Before we explored this feature, we had nothing in place to monitor our availability.

  ### 11. A Great Partner for Observability Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Our LogicMonitor account team (Partner Manager, Customer Success Manager) are highly engaged in supporting us to realise complete value from the platform, ensuring our issues are quickly resolved, and helping us plan ahead to enable new benefits to our customers as new featers are released.

The platform itself has improved greatly over time in terms of form and function, there are very few usecases for observability our organisation has that it cannot cover, and there are many more value features (like AI driven anomolgy detection and synthetic transactions) that we're planning to exploit in the future, with more on the way.

The new services view of resources is an especially compelling feature for maintain a holistic view of services.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Some areas of improvement are required in error reporting, or making issues more visible when collectors are not reporting home.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidated multiple tools into one single solution. Observability across a multi-tenanted environment.

  ### 12. Such a dream to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Best thing about LogicMonitor is how customizable they make it, with the high number of built-in LogicModules it makes creating high signal, low noise alerts easy. Dashboards allow ease of use when it comes to monitoring and keeping an overall eye on the status of your network & each location supported.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

My main gripe right now is that there is functionality missing between the "old UI" and the "new UI" otherwise the tool is absolute dream to use once setup & configured probably (Which is also a breeze)

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor provides highly effective, customized alerting for our entire network based on what WE want to be alerted on & it allows us to set the thresholds we feel comfortable with. There are tons of out of the box options that are highly effective while you learn more about LogicMonitor that make it effective almost immediatly and the ability to automate dashboard creation right withing the portal is a huge quality of life win.

  ### 13. LogicMonitor Operational Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Great coverage across cloud services, with good detail and drilldown functionality, good GUI views

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Need to be careful re cloud costs and monitor them accordingly

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In depth monitoring of cloud resources

  ### 14. Easy to get going and use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Logic Monitor made the installation and startup relatively easy with an implementation expert being assigned. The ongoing maintenance has been minimal from the Logic Monitor system with periodic updates to collector software and data modules. I use the product daily for many needs as a network and voice administrator.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

There is not an ability to have a custom background along with device placement in the tool. This is important for larger facilities with many IDFs and helps visualize issues happening at a local level.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor helped us centralize our network/telecom and server monitoring solutions into a single platform. This has helped us supress uncessary alerts and escalations for our server teams when network failures were present. Additionally we brought on website monitoring for several external websites which has allowed us to be more proactive with issue identification and remidation.

  ### 15. Excellent Monitoring Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

My favorite things about LogicMonitor are the incredible amount of pre-confgured templates available for use for all of our device types, how easy it is to find and deploy new devices, and the ability to create custom automatic monitoring profiles so that when new devices are joined to LogicMonitor that meet certain criteria the custom monitoring template is automatically assigned.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Right now, LogicMonitor is going through a UI change which means different modules use a different UI and sometimes it's confusing when going through the different modules as the UI flips from classic to modern.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor gives realtime alerts for any issues in our infrastructure that allows our technicians to identify the problem quickly and easily. Usually before a customer even knows there is a problem.

  ### 16. Get detailed system status

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I think it's great that it provides detailed information about the system status and can detect potential problems before they occur.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Support responses can be slow, so I would like you to contact us more frequently.
Specifically, the support request is as follows.
#546201: A support request was filed because Linux process monitoring could not be performed properly.
After providing the evidence requested by support, there has been no contact for five business days.

In addition, since the LogicMonitor UI was updated from UIv3 to UIv4, errors caused by LogicMonitor bugs have been occurring frequently, so we would like the quality to be stabilized.
Specifically, the support request is as follows:
#546766: An error occurred when editing the DataSource used by LM Synthetics, so alert emails cannot be customized until the bug is fixed.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is now possible to gain a detailed understanding of the causes of problems occurring in the system.

  ### 17. Great tool for MSP infrastructure monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaap d. | IT & Innovation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Logicmonitor allows us as an MSP to onboard customers within minutes; it's a matter of deploying the collector and the data start flowing in. Great visibility out of the box, and enough options to customize if neccesary.
Great support from the team at LM in and after our onboarding.
We replaced 5 tools for 1 with the introduction of LM.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new UI is still under active development, and sometimes feels like it's public beta (old UI is still available).

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to correlate incidents between departments (network / sysadmin / customer)

  ### 18. Friendly, Flexible, Integrated Monitoring tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The new UI is very responsive, and in general, better the the old one. LM is friendly and comes ready with most everything you need to monitor OOTB. It is also very flexible allowing us to create modules to monitor and report on any aspect of our systems. We have integrated it to multiple other tools with ease, via OOTB integrations or via the API.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new view of the modules, I feel I loose time filtering stuff everytime. Havent had to use support much, which is good, as it can take a while to get a satisfactory response.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to migrate from a deprecated tool set and LM has been a good choice as we can consolidate several tools in one.

  ### 19. Simply, it just delivers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I've always found support and the account team to be very responsive and proactive, they genuinely seem passionate about their products. Like any monitoring platform, you have to put the effort in to get the value but the team have been great in supporting us on the journey. We've found the platform to be very reliable and new features are adding on a regular basis which shows they listen to their customers.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The licensing model was a bit complex but they have revised it a lot over the last year to simplify it.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing the team to be more proactive rather than reactive. The dashboards are also giving us a quick glance of the estate which is great.

  ### 20. Customisable, flexible cloud-based observability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David R. | Lead Automation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor Envision is highly customisable and can be used to observe, monitor and discover a range of vendors and technologies. It provides a good range of features and a very useful REST API for integration with our technology stack.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The user interface can feel a little clunky and be slow to perform at times, although it has been subject to continuous improvement.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor provides a single toolset for discovery and observability across our varied product lines, which helps us consolidate and simplify IT operations.

  ### 21. LogicMonitor provides a low maintenance and automated solution to monitoring our AWS Environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Great automation and discovery of AWS resources and instance monitoring. Large amount of datasources makes setup easy. Extensive customization options to pull data from external sources. Users can easily manage alerts and find resource graphs to diagnose issues. Great support.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

More complex customization does require working around design choices. Alerting based on historical data isn't possible. Closed off data isn't accessible for integrating with external applications such as on-call or incident management.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor provides insight into the performance of our AWS cloud resources and applications. LogicMonitors automation and easy setup allows us to focus on our core business of providing a SaaS service to customers while still being confident they're getting the best experience possible.

  ### 22. Logic Monitor Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon H. | IT Support Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The ease of use and ability to navigate within the application make it simple to work within
I use this daily and have no ran into any issues
The forums are a great resource and plenty help to solving issues I don't have the answer to

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I feel like some of the UIs and tabs could use a visual overhaul

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to easily monitor multiple cloud resources in one location while having accuracy

  ### 23. Excellent ITOM Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody C. | Manager of Operational Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor's interface is FAST. Coming from SolarWinds, it was shocking how fast LM could fetch and present data even when compared to an on prem alternative.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Like all SaaS apps, not every feature is included in the base product and sometimes it has been unclear what new features would be included in our subscription.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LM keeps eyes on all of our data center infrastructure and alerts us to outages before our users notice.

  ### 24. Easy to use when you need fast information

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank C. | Database Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

it is easy to access and very quick to retrieve performance stats and up to date status of our servers and services. Because of this, it is always the first monitoring tool I check when issues arise

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It is complicated when trying to setup alerting. The UI to setup alert routing is not very user friendly.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives us nessacary monitoring and performance collecting. Has been a great tool to use during major incidents

  ### 25. Using Logic Monitor improved our customer experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Because it is feature rich, we found that with careful consideration of those features it can become very flexible, and therefore can provide very tuned monitoring for all of our use cases

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Logic Monitor is a steep learning curve, and time must be made to fully understand how it can be best deployed and utilised

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We reorganised our internal support structure away from traditional service domains or silos, and now focus more on the critical functions which support our customer, end user and business outcomes. Using Logic Monitor are able to define groups and dashboards which provide a range of views, from status at a glance to deeper performance analysis.

  ### 26. Excellent option to monitor your network system and detect problems.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bark D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The compilers for basic monitoring are of great quality, the software enjoys great acceptance in many industries with good comments from large customers, integrations with the most demanded services at the enterprise level, to name a few that we use, Slack, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, and many more that make usable all monitoring services in the cloud, on the network, including containers, I must also highlight the customization within the interface is a comfortable software to use, with an attractive design and a complete interface.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I have had no major problems with LogicMonitor, if I could criticize the costs of implementation and activation of the service, they are higher than other monitoring services on the market, but none does what LogicMonitor has achieved for IT companies.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logic software is a tool that has allowed us to make infrastructure monitoring systems, available networks, containers, in the development of applications and web-based services has been a great ally to check that all work is done correctly, thanks to its system of alerts and detailed analysis drives us to make better technical decisions in the IT field, even in its ServiceNow integration the program becomes an incredible failure detection system.

  ### 27. Tool to monitor your company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It presents an intuitive and dynamic interface, the monitoring tool is automated in the servers and other functions the configuration of the devices does not require more experience, generates detailed reports which are crucial to detect the failure and find the right solution, the technical support is prepared to give suitable answers

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The price is high, the interface of the mobile application should be improved, if the internet connection is poor it will not work properly, more options to customize the interface are missing

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notifications keep us alerted about the operation of the devices, therefore, it is no longer necessary to check them frequently, effectively monitors the company´s networks detecting problems in less time which facilitates the resolution of the same which leads to a saving of time and money for the company

  ### 28. Effective monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ikhlas L. | IT Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It is an easy to use and install software that requires no further assistance, likewise the technical support provides solutions to any inconvenience that may arise, alerts are configured quickly, when running system updates is not affected the operation of the same, the interface design provides an entertaining and easy navigation

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The costs of the product are high, but the efficiency of the product is worth the investment, the reports could be more automated, the application for mobile devices sometimes presents errors

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor has provided us with monitoring tools for networks, servers and the cloud, being compatible with a wide variety of devices it adapted to the employees in the company without any problem, the alerts keep the devices protected and the reports save time to provide solutions to the problems detected. Excellent tool I recommend it

  ### 29. It adopts a complete and simple logical monitoring model.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santosh K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Easy to use, you can add all the devices you want to monitor from the interface, it is also possible to schedule alerts, the installation is easier than I thought, they have an excellent community behind the project there is a lot of documentation on how to make the most of the software, the customer service I experienced was very cordial at all times they explained how to use the program in the most appropriate way and at no cost, it integrates very well with other IT services, we use ServiceNow, and it is excellent in conjunction with LogicMonitor.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I think we should modernize some things within the program starting with the templates that are presented to us since we install the software, the analyses are complete, but they also need an update, this should not be a problem, but this tool, although fine is not cheap, your company should have enough resources for all the licenses.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor is our main monitoring tool in the cloud, as far as networks are concerned, it is essential for a well-maintained infrastructure. Goodbye to all complex problems, this software observes all anomalies and notifies us through alerts what we have to correct. We collect and analyze data, it allows us to classify all the problems and look for solutions, excellent to meet between all our IT team and make decisions.

  ### 30. My experience with LogicMonitor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gian M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It is the ideal solution for monitoring which is simple to use and execute, it provides tools to reduce work time improving the workflow, the technical service is excellent and knowledgeable to give appropriate solutions

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Nothing absolutely everything works better than expected, it fulfills my expectations

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a tool that would allow us to monitor the server infrastructure, and a comprehensive supervision of the system to eliminate any threat before it generates damage, LogicMonitor was the solution to this problem, we customize the alerts to receive those that represent an import threat to the system and thus able to attack them effectively, we access without inconvenience to the logs of the analysis when our staff requires it

  ### 31. MSP using LogicMonitor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tad G. | COO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Deployment is quick and easy. The different types of devices for which there are data sources means that pretty much no matter what the customer is running, we can monitor it. Dashboards are quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new interface stinks. It's quirky. Hiding Datasources under LogicModules makes it more difficult to view the details.

Most annoying is navigation of the Resource Tree regardless of interface. If a device is in multiple high-level groups and you navigate backwards, it does not bring you to the folder structure that you used to navigate down.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scalability - we can easily add customers

  ### 32. Tool to monitor networks effectively

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** michael a. | Construction surveyor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It presents a visually attractive and easy to configure interface, the thechnical support is able to give suitable answers to any questions, despite having a high price, it fully complies with the functions

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The mobile application presents errors at the moment of execution and sometimes closes spontaneously. Obtaining a demo could be less complicated since its price can be high for small companies, although it is totally worth the expense

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After comparing LogicMonitor with existing products on the market, we selected it for being the best option for network monitoring, infrastructure maintenance, grouping problems, creating detailed reports of the same reducing the time to resolve them, provides graphs to determine where the anomalies are located and has significantly improved the performance of the company

  ### 33. Flexibility and scalability end to end - in product and also on services delivered by organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

With LogicMonitor you not only buy a license and a product, you also get the full suite of services from the organization behind, delivered from a highly customercentric staff of professionals, enthusiastic about doing things right - first time.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I havent really experienced any downsides, other than you need to expect you set aside some time to learn the product and technologies behind, but that is covered in the good learning paths you can choose to either certify in or just take the classes.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Observability and insights - supporting in incident handling and limiting time spent on debugging.

  ### 34. Great product for Cloud and Container monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It's ability to discover and monitor Cloud and container based workloads. Out of the box monitoring templates with best practice thresholds. It is also reliable.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Certain types of customisations can be more difficult than in other products. Main thing is lack of access to backend database, which makes reporting challenging. In general reporting options are limited. SNMP trap support is very basic too.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is visiblity of our cloud and container workloads. We can get a lot of data in a central place and apply alerting based on that. Out of the box alerts are keeping our infrastructure available and performing well.

  ### 35. The scalability and flexibility of the platform allow efficient monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Its easy-to-use interface and robust analytics contribute to a positive user experience. And I like that it helps identify and resolve problems proactively. With the help of this tool, I solved a critical issue in our instance by checking all the logs. LogicMonitor provides a single place to monitor all the resources, so we don't have to go to each resource to monitor.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It is a fairly advanced tool, so the learning curve is quite steep, it is not the best for newbies. Also, for tracking multiple resources, a consolidated report is not possible. Anyway, it is a bit complex and can require a lot of time and effort before you can use it effectively.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides alerts, metrics, dashboards, application insights, and also integration with other LogicMonitor resources. Additionally, the infrastructure monitoring and log management features are very useful as they are real-time, I have great customization options along with visualization tools.

  ### 36. An intelligent experience, with incredible logical options.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milos N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Good mechanics of real-time alerts, monitoring options in the cloud are excellent, the software is interpreted in a good way, the configuration for a good use did not bring problems, analysis and reports of the data collected are very complete the program is very graphic this I like, the interface is simpler than at first glance we can notice. The support team connects very well with the customer, they give solutions and are experts in the field.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

LM is expensive, to be honest it was the most expensive software we have implemented in the company, if you are a company with few employees, and that is starting I do not recommend its acquisition, it is also a program that consumes resources, otherwise the software works great and is improving with each update.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was a vital acquisition for our alerting system, so far we have used all LM monitoring options and I must say that each hosted service complements what we need, both in the cloud and in containers, in fact, the integration with Slack gives more versatility, and we take better advantage of all the options that the program provides.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Easy to set up and use, provides alerts at all times and general monitoring data, options to monitor and alert users about network or connection changes come hand in hand with excellent customer support. Comprehensive dashboards for real-time information on all systems being managed. Provides excellent visibility of our servers, providing first-hand analysis and reports easy to understand by our IT analysts. Full customization in available, with excellent nuances. The system provides a fully automated monitoring service both in the cloud, servers and advanced networks. The use, although a bit complex at the beginning, has all the necessary trainings provided by the team behind LogicMonitor.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Lack of a demo to view the program before purchasing it, excessive prices in my opinion not suitable for companies with few economic resources, integration PagerDuty and BigPanda I have not liked, with Slack works very well. The initial configuration of alerts can be complex and is delayed I recommend some update to make it simpler, reports although very complete are cumbersome, with more automation would be excellent.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor has provided us over time with an effective tool to monitor servers, networks, and has even allowed our IT team to provide monitoring in the cloud. It is as powerful tool for classifying and resolving complex problems through alerts programmed by all our IT support. Those difficult operational tasks have been trained to the solutions they offer us for less abrasive data processing. It should also be taken into consideration that the program is compatible with all our devices, making it more useful when monitoring.

We have relied on its smart alerts for all our applications. LogicMonitor also provides efficient logging capabilities.
