## LogicMonitor Reviews
  ### 1. In-Depth Analysis in One Place with Smooth ITSM Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shah Nawaz K. | Product Support Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The in-depth analysis it provides while I’m using it has made me a fan, since everything is available in a single place. It doesn’t throw random errors or false alerts, which I really appreciate. Integration is easy with ITSM tools, and the UI also works well.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Sometime the information needed is deep inside and you need to go inside to fetch that which makes things a lil bit clumpsy and less usable

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in network operations and IT operations. We monitor network health for our clients, as well as cloud health, and LM works best for us.

  ### 2. LogicMonitor: Highly Capable, but Complex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew Q. | Technical Strategy Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor should be viewed as a platform upon which to build a monitoring service, rather than a final product out-of-the-box. While it comes with a substantial number of modules to ingest data from common devices/applications its main strength is its extensibility. No monitoring product can cover every facet of every application in every organisation. LogicMonitor's extensibility makes it possible to build the specific integrations you require and ingest the data into a scalable platform that can turn it into actionable alerts. It is not limited to traditional IT systems monitoring. If you can find a way to pull data from a system, you can use that data in LogicMonitor.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMontior is dogmatically opposed to using agent-based monitoring in any capacity. Monitoring relies on collector servers polling services across the network. This makes it easy to integrate with and monitor new types of services without the need to develop new software (particularly modern API-based/cloud services), but traditional server workloads (Windows/Linux) are significantly more difficult to deploy and troubleshoot than with a typical agent-based monitoring platform. The process of configuring firewall rules and granular permissions for monitoring accounts at an application/feature level on each system is highly laborious and necessitates investment in external automation tools for environments with frequent changes.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor provides detailed monitoring into a diverse range of customer environments, on-premises and in the cloud. Previously, we required several different monitoring tools to gain adequate coverage across our client base, and frequently found that our monitoring software vendors were too slow to adapt their products to support new technologies. LogicMonitor's extensibility means that we can monitor everything in a single platform and integrate new technologies in the future.

  ### 3. Improved perspective since my last review.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ShuelKhan K. | Senior Technical Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor has become the backbone of our proactive monitoring strategy. Its real-time alerting capabilities have dramatically reduced our response times, particularly during out of hours incidents. The SMS and voice call features are absolutely invaluable for our on-call engineers—no more relying solely on emails that might be missed at 3AM.

What really sets LogicMonitor apart for us is how deeply it integrates with our ITSM platform. When an issue is detected, it doesn't just raise an alert—it automatically creates a ticket, sets the appropriate priority based on predefined thresholds, and assigns it to the relevant team. This has eliminated a huge amount of manual triage and has made our service desk noticeably more efficient.

We've also found the custom dashboards to be incredibly helpful for different departments—our network team has one view, our infrastructure team another, all tailored to exactly what they need. It's like having a command centre tailored for each audience.

We also really appreciate the human side of LogicMonitor—the customer support, especially from our contact Charlton, has been outstanding. We have regular catch-up calls as needed, and it never feels like a “sell”—just genuine support, advice, and best practice sharing. It’s rare to get that kind of proactive account management these days.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new GUI is a step in the right direction aesthetically, but it still feels a bit clunky in practice. For example, quickly checking basic metrics like disk space or CPU usage should be a single click away from the device page, but currently, you often have to dig through several layers of menus and graphs. That friction can be frustrating when you're troubleshooting under pressure.

Additionally, while the platform is incredibly powerful, that power can sometimes make it overwhelming for new users. A bit more onboarding guidance or a simplified view for junior engineers would go a long way.

In regards to the SMS/calls, i do wish there was a "Ack all in relation to this customer" option rather than receiving 20 calls because the internet went down.

Final Thoughts:

Despite minor UI gripes, LogicMonitor is one of the most powerful and reliable monitoring solutions we’ve used. It’s made a real impact on our uptime, on-call efficiency, and incident response workflows. Once you’ve tailored it to your environment, it’s like having a tireless virtual NOC watching over everything, 24/7.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor is solving several key problems for us across infrastructure visibility, alerting, and incident response. One of the biggest pain points it’s addressed is the lack of real-time insight into system health and performance. Before LogicMonitor, we were often reactive, only finding out about issues after users were already impacted. Now, LogicMonitor gives us complete visibility across servers, network devices, cloud services, and applications, all in one place.

The platform's intelligent alerting has transformed how we handle incidents. It doesn’t just generate noise, it filters and prioritizes alerts based on thresholds and dependencies, helping us focus on what actually matters. Combined with its ability to automatically log tickets in our ITSM system (with the right priority and assignment), it means less time spent triaging and more time resolving.

Another major benefit is for our on-call engineers. With SMS and automated call alerts, engineers get notified instantly when critical systems are down—no more relying on someone noticing an email. That’s helped us significantly reduce downtime and meet our SLAs.

Additionally, the historical data and performance trends help us with capacity planning and proactive maintenance. We can see when disk usage is trending upwards or when latency is increasing, allowing us to take action before a failure occurs.

Overall, LogicMonitor helps us move from a reactive IT model to a proactive one, improves our response times, and gives both our technical teams and stakeholders confidence that our systems are being watched 24/7.

  ### 4. Simplifies Cloud Services with Fast Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishna S. | Financial Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I find LogicMonitor easier for coding compared to AWS or Azure. The support is generally faster than others, and I find it easy to explain to DevOps.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It is affected by outages in the other vendors like CrowdStrike, so that has been an issue sometimes.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor makes coding easier compared to AWS or Azure. Support is generally faster and it's easy to explain to DevOps.

  ### 5. LogicMonitor Delivers Strong Infrastructure Monitoring - our currrent bread and butter.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Logicmonitor improved our observability from our previous chosen solution with improvements in ease of use, unified dashboarding, scripting flexibility and being an agentless platform. This enabled its quick deployment and insight into the services we offer for our clients and streamlined the support operations.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The main issues are around tuning the datasources and alert threshold, this is not uncommon with obervability platforms but without careful consideration it can lead to excessive noise. There is not real inbuild case management / incident workflow although integrations with other platforms is possible. APM is currently a weakness in our view but is getting heavily invested in.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility into Infrastructure Health, reduction in monitoring gaps, dealing with issues proactively before a stakeholder is impacted, improving overall operations

  ### 6. Good, Smooth Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Dedicated project manage and technical resource assigned to the implementation, ensuring that progress was maintained.

Now we are live with Logic Monitor , there are, month calls with a dedicated Customer Success Manager.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Early into live service we had a technical request, that was not technically possible to do. Which was slightly disappointing. But not the end of the world. It has been added to a Feature Backlog for future releases.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Holistic view and interconnectivity of devices across the Service supported, in order to allow us to easily, quickly and proactively identify potential issues and respond before they become an actual problem, where possible.

  ### 7. A very customisable platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I like the fact that you can pretty much custom develop whatever you like and bake it into the monitoring as long as you can code. We have done a number of custom developments and integrations into LM. Its fairly easy to use once you get a hang of where things are, we hit the ground running.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The dashboards and widgets need a little bit of work but the actual logic / alerting is solid.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logicmonitor has added a lot of visibility! We are enjoying seeing very specific bits of information in dashboards and reports.

  ### 8. Amazing product with amazing functionality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callum J. | Infrastructure and Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The functionality within LogicMonitor is very very capable, we find use across our team that we didn't even know we needed until we started using LogicMonitor

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Sometimes it can be somewhat complicated to navigate and set some monitoring up, however once its in and working its brilliant :)

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are currently working on solving the network topology mapping in order for the dependant alert mapping functionality to work as intended, this feature will greatly benefit our team in noise reduction

  ### 9. First time Logic Monitor user

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Broad range of out-of-the-box features that allows both infrastructure and application monitoring.
Initial learning curve to get started is low. More advanced features require more time to get familiar with.
Ability to create custom modules

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Application monitoring maturity can be improved.
Update frequency of modules not always following the latest available versions of systems/applications to be monitored.
Some feature limitation (for example maximum 15 Log pipelines)

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardize monitoring platform that can be used cross business unites and support teams
Single pane of glass/end-to-end view.

  ### 10. Exploring Quick Information Gathering with Top-Notch Vendors

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Centralised repository for many vendors, quickly assigning pre-made graphs to devices. Quick setup for collectors and devices with responsive customer support for assistance.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The amount of information gathered can be too general and leave gaps. The default settings need to be tweaked in order to provide the best outcome, some alerts that you would expect to be critical are only warnings by default. The dashboards could be better in order to provide business operations understanding.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor is helping us to centralise a wide range of on-prem and cloud devices giving us quick reactions to outages and issues.

  ### 11. Visibility and Insight simplified

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Easy to use and deploy. Plenty of default datasource and metrics providing useful insight into infrastructure and network utilisation. Provides useful insight into infrastructure, utilisation in nearly real time as well as aiding investigation into historic incidents or issues due to data stored.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Better insight into Kubernetes clusters and gain useful metrics from within. Cloud monitoring/cost model means significantly expensive to monitor our cloud hosted resources compared to our on-premise/datacentre resources.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaining an understanding of system utilisation at any given time, whether near-real time or historic. Helps with capacity planning, can see growth trends of systems.

  ### 12. LogicMonitor - Customisable and Extensive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas H. | Technical Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The customisability of the platform is great. I use the tool daily to keep a finger on the pulse of our environment.

We've made use of the ability to build custom scripts/monitors to monitor and present dashboards for patch status and device inventory which is handy for our customers.

I also enjoy the amount of data it ingests as it allows us to get a good feel for the environment.

It was relatively simple enough to integrate with CW PSA and has a few good integrations with Meraki and other platforms.

Support is pretty good, our Account Manager and Technical team we deal with are always really helpful at providing solutions whenever they arise.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Monitors are all number based so pulling and displaying strings is a bit difficult within the platform from what I've seen. It was a little difficult to implement due to this.

Would be nice to be able to pull strings as a variable.

There's also a relatively steep learning curve to make use of all the features.

And it would be really nice to get proper aruba central reporting however that may be a limitation of Aruba's API rather than LogicMonitors capabilities. SNMP monitoring works fine.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A robust monitoring platform is a must-have for any MSP. But it needs to be customisable to fit the needs of each individual customer. While we've had other monitoring tools, LogicMonitor allows us to apply rules to the monitors in a way that makes it easier to filter out unneccessary information.

The Dynamic Thresholds functionality is great for filtering out things that are automatically scheduled (example being CPU spikes due to AV scans at a specific time of the day). It also allows us to provide a simple dashboard to executives so they can get a snapshot of their environment and how its performing.

LogicMonitor solves the problem of requiring someone online 24/7 reviewing environments. Our service desk is not a 24/7 operation however LogicMonitor provides a good early warning system when things do break after hours.

  ### 13. Enterprise Class Monitoring for Any Sized Customer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen C. | Director of IT Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor is a great monitoring tool, with huge number of out of the box datasources which meet the needs of 99% of customers. Being able to create custom datasources for that remainng 1% is great and a testament to the overall felxibility of the platform. If something can be monitored LogicMonitor is the right tool for the job.

LogicMonitor integrates with our PSA (ConnectWise) which allows us to operationalise alerts far more effectiviy when compared to comting plaftoms which lack this ability.

Customer support is gernerally very good.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The user interface is not perticuallry intuitive, the new interface has many improvements but right now I find that I must change frequently between the two to access what I need.

Reporting is an area that could do with improvement and should also incorporate executive style report templates.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LM provides a unified platform to monitor everything we need to and more for us and our cusomters.

  ### 14. Good experience and platform but like to see it optimised for us as an MSP

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amar I. | Head of Managed Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

People, help, support and APIs into different platforms like Service Now

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Making us as an MSP embrace all capabilities and drive ROI

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our customers estate and being proactive, preventing issues from occurring

  ### 15. Great out of the box, customisation less so.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

You can get your whole environment monitored and alerting in a very fast time, almost everything is built and it just works.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

When you want to change the way it reports, or report on specific metrics. Things that it doesn't have built in, it's not intuitive and often requires support calls and takes time.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us know if there's critical issues or about to be in the network.

  ### 16. Reliability over the years

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

fits us very well for onpremise monitoring.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

some data sources are difficult to configure

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administration with SCCM was complicated and less reliable, requiring more people to administer it.

  ### 17. Logical LogicMonitor

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Easy to configure. Comprehensive suite of DataSources (checks). Good return on investement with out-of-box configuration options providing powerful insights that immediately lower MTTR. Great product support, be it through well maintained documentation or customer support. Extensible and easy to integrate into systems such as ITSM or messaging tools for alert notifications. Easy to implement with bootstrap based collector deployment. A product I find myself using more and more as part of my day to day as it's features and the depth of information it extends becomes more prevalent and critical to BAU operation.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It is unfortunate that datapoints are unable to return text values. Whilst text can be parsed to represent an outcome it's abstraction to an integer obfuscates information. There are some configuration elements of the system that do not lend themselves to scalability. Dashboards and graphical representation of data isn't quite as configurable as with other products within the same space.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administrative overheads associated with custom monitoring tool deployment, management and development.

  ### 18. Booking.com - Quick and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I have the below comments about the things I like about LogicMonitor:
Ease of Use: Platform is easy to use and navigate.
Ease of Implementation: Quick and easy to get this setup, main delays are setting up the connectivity permissions on network devices.
Customer Support: Live chat function is really useful (when it works).
Numbers of Features: Platform is feature rich with support for most depoloyments.
Ease of Integration: A lot of good intergrations out of the box such as: Slack, ServiceNow, PagerDuty.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I have the below comments about the things I dislike:
Integrations: We are currently lacking integration with Aruba Central for our SD-BRANCH and also Aruba UXI which is used for user experience testing. (Aruba UXI uses webhooks which LM does not support).
Ease of Use: I find the new UI difficult to use sometimes with a lot of things hidden away in menus, also have difficult with moving multiple device groups collectors to a new group.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started out LM journey we were using a in-house solution built by developers internally. The solution itself worked perfectly and did the job we needed, but with it being in-house means that we started to notice things being left out due to lack of maintenance. We also had problems whenever we wanted to make any changes, as we were completely reliant on resources from the dev teams.

With LM we manage everything ourselves meaning we can keep it up to date and make any changes we need, also with the team having a lack of dev know-how we find the platform really easy to use and configure using the GUI. Changes can be made with a few clicks in the platform that would of previously took weeks, this helps improve our Operational function overall.

We use the platform not only for network device monitoring but for service monitoring by utilizing LM Service Insight. This is allowing us to report on network availability which we include as part of monthly operational reviews. Before we explored this feature, we had nothing in place to monitor our availability.

  ### 19. Friendly, Flexible, Integrated Monitoring tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The new UI is very responsive, and in general, better the the old one. LM is friendly and comes ready with most everything you need to monitor OOTB. It is also very flexible allowing us to create modules to monitor and report on any aspect of our systems. We have integrated it to multiple other tools with ease, via OOTB integrations or via the API.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new view of the modules, I feel I loose time filtering stuff everytime. Havent had to use support much, which is good, as it can take a while to get a satisfactory response.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to migrate from a deprecated tool set and LM has been a good choice as we can consolidate several tools in one.

  ### 20. Customisable, flexible cloud-based observability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David R. | Lead Automation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor Envision is highly customisable and can be used to observe, monitor and discover a range of vendors and technologies. It provides a good range of features and a very useful REST API for integration with our technology stack.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The user interface can feel a little clunky and be slow to perform at times, although it has been subject to continuous improvement.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor provides a single toolset for discovery and observability across our varied product lines, which helps us consolidate and simplify IT operations.

  ### 21. Using Logic Monitor improved our customer experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Because it is feature rich, we found that with careful consideration of those features it can become very flexible, and therefore can provide very tuned monitoring for all of our use cases

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Logic Monitor is a steep learning curve, and time must be made to fully understand how it can be best deployed and utilised

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We reorganised our internal support structure away from traditional service domains or silos, and now focus more on the critical functions which support our customer, end user and business outcomes. Using Logic Monitor are able to define groups and dashboards which provide a range of views, from status at a glance to deeper performance analysis.

  ### 22. Effective monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ikhlas L. | IT Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It is an easy to use and install software that requires no further assistance, likewise the technical support provides solutions to any inconvenience that may arise, alerts are configured quickly, when running system updates is not affected the operation of the same, the interface design provides an entertaining and easy navigation

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The costs of the product are high, but the efficiency of the product is worth the investment, the reports could be more automated, the application for mobile devices sometimes presents errors

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor has provided us with monitoring tools for networks, servers and the cloud, being compatible with a wide variety of devices it adapted to the employees in the company without any problem, the alerts keep the devices protected and the reports save time to provide solutions to the problems detected. Excellent tool I recommend it

  ### 23. Great product for Cloud and Container monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It's ability to discover and monitor Cloud and container based workloads. Out of the box monitoring templates with best practice thresholds. It is also reliable.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Certain types of customisations can be more difficult than in other products. Main thing is lack of access to backend database, which makes reporting challenging. In general reporting options are limited. SNMP trap support is very basic too.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is visiblity of our cloud and container workloads. We can get a lot of data in a central place and apply alerting based on that. Out of the box alerts are keeping our infrastructure available and performing well.

  ### 24. Review of Logic Monitor

**Reviewed by:** Heath B. | Sr. Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The customer support is outstanding along with the ease of use and ability to implement changes quickly. I end up using the product multiple times a week to help me in my jo.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The new UI is taking some time to get used to along with the Selenium website monitoring still needs work.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's meeting all of our corporate monitoring needs.

  ### 25. LogicMonitor network monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Customisation of the platform is the best part of the platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

It is a simple and easy to use tool. Building propertysources and datasources is not complicated. It does not need an agent which makes things simpler.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

New features are often not tested. The API does not have all the endpoints that you would need for our self-service published, a bit of a mess between the new and old interfaces.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compared to the old tool, LogicMonitor is agentless and faster.

  ### 38. LogicMonitor helps us professionalize our proactive monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

We have perfect insights in the health of our monitored assets

  ### 39. LogicMonitor is an excellent cloud-based infrastructure monitoring platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

Easy of use

  ### 40. Use cases are vast, any environment can benefit from LM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2023

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The amount of monitoring capabilities and the web portal functionality/uptime is exceptional. We have been using LM on a global scale utilizing vm collectors and have not had one portal outage. the scale of our environment is ~2500 devices that we monitor and the portal performance and load times are exceptional.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

downsides of using logicmonitor is the learning curve and resources needed to manage it in order to make it a valuable tool. That is by the nature of monitoring in general so the downsides are minimal when comparing to other vendors.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility into our network that we simply cannot get out of a static CMDB. Actionable alerting and customized alert routing fits all of the complex needs for global network monitoring and alerting.

  ### 41. Good standalone solution. Some of the integrations need some work.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2023

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Logicmonitor is pretty responsive in creating new alerts, as well as having a having a fairly extensive number of defined monitoring on particular platforms (logic modules)

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Some of the integrations do not work as expected. In particular, the integration with Service Now leaves a bit to be desired. Rather than creating a new ticket for an alarm that is already cleared, it re opens the old ticket

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an largefootprint that needs to be monitored. LM helps us monitor our extensive number of vmware enviroments and network devices.

  ### 42. LogicMonitor makes monitoring logical and a breeze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry A. | DevOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor allows for a wide range of platforms to be monitored with relatively low effort. The UI is fairly intuitive and allows for a wide variety of technical competencies to feel comfortable.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor works well for Linux based systems however it requires some legwork for windows based monitoring. We've also run into a couple cases where the collectors will run out of memory and then quietly die without trying to restart

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a less intrusive way to monitor resources at a variety of client sites and LogicMonitor being a collector based solution allowed us to reduce the amount of software we needed to install on client machines and still maintain excellent visibility into their infrastructure and workloads.

  ### 43. Global Infrastructure New LM Customer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The dashboards are a quick way to see red / green status and other issues.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Some customizations are limited on the main dashboard.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to see issues with servers without logging into the server.

  ### 44. Great monitoring tool but not for everyone

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I like how much customization there is available for configuring alerts and monitoring on LogicMonitor. I love the organization of the folders as well.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I don't like that resources auto-expand when selecting them since depending on how many datapoints are in that resource - it can easily make your list a lot longer and harder to navigate around when all you wanted to do is SSH into the device for example.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to monitor client devices in all aspects (CPU, memory, network, etc.) for how we want/need to. It also allows for endless opportunities to customize how alerting occurs.

  ### 45. LogicMonitor has great info to display but it's not the easiest setting things up.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Being able to have devices in multiple groups is very helpful (i.e. a firewall can be in a 'North Carolina' group as well as a 'security' group)

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It takes a lot to get set up. On set up, it takes some time getting used to with how things are done but once you get used to it, it's very helpful.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We replaced a different Monitoring system and this has been a great replacement. We are able to see a lot more in detail to our devices. It also gives detail related to UC servers as well.

  ### 46. LM Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

Monitoring can be heavily customized and records historical data that can be used to identify trends/problems. We can also monitor more types of devices compared to our previous tool.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

The lack of uptime reporting and network topology map

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to monitor our and our clients' infrastructure so we can address outages as soon as possible. It also allows us to be more proactive with access to historical information,

  ### 47. Easy setup, lots of documentation and additional hands on experts as needed.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

The ease of how to set up the different alert types and the multitude of prebuilt modules that work out of the box.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

the webgui can change styling based on what page you are on, which can be jarring, but does show the difference in attributes when you configure vs monitor.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping logs on the multitude of systems we run, as well as internal websites that end users use.

  ### 48. Nice Monitoring System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

LogicMonitor is a highly customizable monitoring system that allows us to tune alerts and reduce mean time to resolution.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

It is relatively complex to set up and it would be nice if it supported multiple DNS resolution domains for hostname discovery.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicMonitor is helping us get all of our monitoring for internal and remote systems under one roof and provide dashboards to stakeholders to help improve information flow.

  ### 49. LM for Syng

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinath M. | Systems Administrator/Integrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I like the RCA Feature because it helps us to reduce the number of alerts

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

Sometimes, being cloud-based is disadvantageous.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and Alerting

  ### 50. A beginner tech's review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about LogicMonitor?**

I like Logic Monitor's details and graphs and colors. It does a pretty good job at automation and handling alerts/warnings.

**What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?**

I dislike the crowding of the dashboard, there's too much information on the first page itself. I would rather have larger fonts and less data to not confuse me about what I'm looking at.

**What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our problems of automation and having to look at every alert. It does a good job of warning instead of alerting.
