This increase was primarily the result of Ashley Reece, our Account Executive, taking the time to understand our needs and what is important to us, and then connecting us with the right people to show us how the modules work. I never felt pressure just to buy more - Ashley's concern was our satisfaction. We discovered one of the previous modules was not set up efficiently, and Luke Ortegel spent significant time improving that module for us. LogicGate is BY FAR the most customizable application of them all. If you can determine the logical flow, you can add just about anything you want. Previously I did risk acceptance forms in a separate doc platform, then moved it over. I was able to create the form and electronic signature in the platform and then inject that into the current workflow seamlessly. **What do you dislike about LogicGate Risk Cloud?** The most difficult part is that there is a lot of learning. It can be confusing at first. To counter this, they do have implementation teams and fairly thorough power user training. Also, paying per power user feels like they are trying to squeeze your budget. **What problems is LogicGate Risk Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Customization. Most of these vendors give you their out of the box workflow and you have to figure the rest out on your own. No LogicGate. The workflows are highly customizable and the fact that our Privacy team can adjust them directly and w/o technical knowledge is a game-changer. Most other platforms have fixed UI/UX and workflows that won't fit into our company's flows and processes, which is a key shortcoming. LogicGate makes reporting easy. The dashboards are fully customizable and easy to export into different formats - which helps generate value and give visibility to our Privacy program. For companies that have the chance to procure the onboarding, it's definitely worth it. The onboarding team is always available and eager to help us get the platform to meet our needs. **What do you dislike about LogicGate Risk Cloud?** The only downside is not exactly a downside, but rather a choice of what works for your GRC program. It's a step up in price from other privacy platforms, but it comes down to what your company needs. If you need a highly customizable platform to centralize your whole program, it's the right call. If you need a simple application for a few tasks, maybe it's not. **Recommendations to others considering LogicGate Risk Cloud:** LogicGate is a powerful platform. It's a different standard from other privacy platforms: more use cases and much more customizable. It fully allows companies to centralize their privacy programs. **What problems is LogicGate Risk Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before implementing LogicGate, we had trouble cataloging our privacy risks and controls, making accountability harder to demonstrate. It was also a challenge for us to catalog our data processing activities effectively and have a big picture of how and when we use data. Both of those issues are fully solved. The controls testing UX is well designed and will be easy to use and the certification processes is a great tool as well. **What do you dislike about LogicGate Risk Cloud?** Given LogicGate is a startup, there are a few standard features they are missing from their tool. Currently the tool does not have a global search function to easily find your information. If you want to do this, you have to create custom reports and then search that specific table for your information. This could result in completeness issues and I think it is something they should have implemented as soon as possible. It also does not have standard reports readily available to view. One example was we had risks that were really mitigated and needed to be removed from our risk registry but until we could show the data with LogicGate reporting, we had been unsuccessful. Once we were able to show the data using LogicGate, the risk were closed. This allowed us to begin focusing more on strategic risks and emerging risks rather than using time and energy on mitigated risks. With third party management, LogicGate Risk Cloud has helped us track and better analyze monitoring and auditing over a period of time. With this we are more able to quickly see trends and get the right conversations started based off of solid data. ### 36. It's customizable down the the layout you pick for end users to link certain attributes to (I wanted my stakeholders to link a control to a policy, snd I could customize how the policy fields (ID, Name, Owner) pop up for that person during the control evaluation phase. I also am obsessed with their personnel. Frustrated with your inability to see something clearly? Using the intercom chat it's as easy as slacking a coworker (unless you're like me and am currently the only person in your org supporting this application). Chatted with Dylan the whole day on and off, and was never turned away. **What do you dislike about LogicGate Risk Cloud?** I couldn't find documentation as readily available for the small questions as I could for the big ones. "When do you reach out to your implementation specialist?" "When do you reach out for customer support?" "How do you go live?" Maybe it is out there, but I couldn't find it as quickly as I'd like. But then again, talking to CS was very helpful. I thought it was easy to pick up because I didn't have to learn how to code. Once I played around with some of their templates and got the lay of the land, I felt it was simple to structurally change my workflows to move more logically, display information more conveniently, and ensure that my team captures the correct information at the right step in the process. I also like the visibility that it provides for each record. Using LogicGate as my source of truth, I can link my controls to my risks, policies, regulations, etc., and vice versa. The information is far more accessible and easy to find relative to before. **What do you dislike about LogicGate Risk Cloud?** For me, two things would be beneficial for LogicGate to update and include as functionality: 1) I am currently unable to make date-based calculations in the system. For example, I cannot make a calculation based on a date field that would display how long a record has been open. 2) Some of the reporting functionality needs to be further developed. For example, I still need to export some data to make layered charts (i.e., a bar graph with a line graph on top of it). Secondly, I cannot filter data based on date ranges (i.e., only show me records created in Q2 2021). To do something like that, I would need to create a field for the user to flag the record creation date as Q2 2021, which would be redundant with the existing date field. **What problems is LogicGate Risk Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using LogicGate to better track risks and controls and will use this information to conduct formal Risk and Control Self Assessments. The biggest benefit we have realized is the ability to have all the related records linked to one another, so I can see which risks have controls, regulations, policies, etc. tied to them. ### 50. You have a pain point or an issue, they will work it into LogicGate to build an application to help fix that problem! **What problems is LogicGate Risk Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest solution that we have been using LG for is workflow --we took processes with multiple manual inputs, emails back and forth, and approvals and migrated it into LG. To put it into perspective, a survey process for compliance that took probably 20 hours of follow up and management visits that was reduced down to 2-3 hours and minimal effort. **Official Response from LogicGate Team:** > Thank you so much for the feedback!
