What do you like best about Mezmo?

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

So far nothing, although I still can't remember the new name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?

With multiple environments and lambas and other log sources, using AWS for viewing logs was just clunky and finding specific errors and issues with the supporting data to troubleshoot was always a pain. Now I'm easily able to setup multiple log streams for different tasks and environments and I'm able to easily find the data I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mezmo?

Nothing can replace a purpose-built tool meant to ingest and aggregate log data. There are other options out there, some of which are built directly in to the cloud provider my business uses. None stand a chance in being as easy to use as LogDNA.

We love how easy LogDNA makes it to see all our log data in one place. Its a snap to focus on a single server or app, or search for a specific log entry, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

The ability to dynamically group hosts could be improved.

We utilize blue/green deployments so our hosts are constantly being rotated out. We also have LogDNA running on our staging hosts. Its challenging to show an always up-to-date view of all our production hosts without manually adding new hosts to the view after a deployment. If we just "select all" hosts, we'll end up with a view that has both production and staging in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mezmo?

Mezmo's searching and filtering abilities make it very easy to debug production systems. Link sharing helps teams collaborate and integration is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

There isn't much to complain about, it works very well. Sometimes log ingestion can lag, but that is rare. Log messages are listed at the time of ingestion, not the time they are created at, which is sometimes an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mezmo?

LogDNA is easy to use. It can be configured to display appropriate information for developers, IT support staff, and managers. We often release new code multiple times a day and having immediate access to any issues that arise is critical. LogDNA has made use more responsive and productive. What do you dislike about Mezmo?

We have no complaints. Learning the full capacity takes time - in fact, years later we are still finding new was to use its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Most often we use it to find unintended consequences to database or code changes. I imagine that like most organizations we face the problem of legacy technology getting in the way of desired improvements. "A greate service for small business"

What do you like best about Mezmo?

In Gemunion we help startaps to set up their business from a technical perspective. We use monopero architecture to setup different microservices and it is really easy for us to filter logs by microservice and instance as well as set up notifications about errors to telegram and slack Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

I would like to be logged from more than one account at a time. Hate to switch between multiple company's accounts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:

Not all things should be done by yourself. If the service is good and has a reasonable price you should use it instead of reinventing the wheel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use logdna as part of our error pipeline. We used papertrail before it was terrible from all sides starting from price. we also tried a local graphana setup but it takes much longer than just connecting to logdna. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mezmo?

Mezmo has been the perfect tool so far in managing our logs, it has everything we need:

* perfect integration with kubernetes as well as VMs

* good, simple interface easy to use, especially useful when you need it most during critical moments

* live logs

* intuitive syntax to search and filter

* very fast search

* easy to drill down and isolate sources

* hugely useful histograms, easy to create and share dashboards

* alerts

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

Almost everything, easy to set up/configure logs and absolutely easy even for beginners to understand and start verifying and traversing thru the logs, no clutter, great filtering options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

Might be trying to search based on part of the logs, for example, a particular string which might be part of detailed logs, and not evidently visible, not a big pain point, but good to have feature, or might be it's there and I haven't been able to use it in the way I wanted it to show up, not sure if we can search by building a query with AND / OR operators Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mezmo?

I love that you have the ability to enter a lot of filters at the moment that you are searching, based on the different and multiple fields that you might be having/using then you can get great combinations to narrow down and get really specific in your searches! Real-time monitoring/debugging/tracking!!! It's a really awesome thing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mezmo?

Maybe the fact that, at least in my account (or plan, I don't know), there is a limit on how far you can get to search things in the past, I would like to get that improved to give a higher range of search. Something that I don't dislike but maybe there is some room of improvement, would be to get a little bit faster the real-time refresh rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are solving the need to have a tool that can register the logs and each point of the different activities our platform realizes, tracking the details in various fields from different perspectives and types. Some of the main benefits are the live monitoring option that you have, so you can track/debug and do a lot of things taking a base on this, in real-time, without having to wait a lot of time from when the logs get uploaded and you get access, as in some other platforms.
