The two best aspects of using Lodgify are their customer service and the speed/frequency of platform improvements. Over my 2.5 years of using their software, I've contacted Lodgify customer service a dozen or more times; the representatives have always been responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. No phone trees. No AI chat bots. Just real humans who have been able to solve every issues I have brought to them. They are also constantly making bug fixes and platform improvements. Their software is by no means perfect, but when there is an issue, they fix it quickly. They do seem to listen to customer feedback and incorporate it into each new feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Lodgify? Lodgify's software doesn't quite have the polish or reliability of a market leading PMS. There are times when they are behind their competition in terms of necessary features. For example, when I first started using the tool there was no way to send an automated message to a guest immediately after they made their booking. You could only do automated messages for check in and check out. To their credit, this has since been remedied. There are also commonly bugs/issues that impact my operations. Recently, there was a bug where the messaging tab did not display the name of the guest or any of the message history. It made it difficult to respond to guest messages. Lodgify is a cost effective property management software for smaller, independent short term rental hosts. Other platforms, like Guesty Lite are very enticing due to it's robust nature, speed of onboarding and general set up process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Lodgify? I had extreme difficulty onboarding with Booking.com. For some reason, the details became unclear as I moved through the process, most likely due to the use of the English language. Because of that experience, I’m skeptical about the new purchase I made while trying to leverage the best Lodgify has to offer. I expected it to be more flexible and more detailed, so guests could have a seamless check-in process. For example, I’d like to see options similar to what other PMS platforms offer, such as extracting the last four digits of the guest’s phone number instead of using a static number, which seems to be what you require. Right now, it feels like I’m only getting halfway there. I’ll be required to change the code at least monthly, and with all the AI available, it doesn’t seem necessary for this to remain a manual step on my end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Glitches during updates removed my Airbnb markup and resulted in lost revenue (though this could have been an Airbnb issue). Either way, an email reminder after updates to double-check these settings would be really helpful. I’d also like to see more editing and text options on Lodgify’s website booking and cabin pages, along with the ability to release minimum-stay requirements a selected number of days prior. Another recent glitch: an Airbnb guest did not receive their welcome message with the entry code, even though we have systems in place for this. Analytics also aren’t working well for us because we’ve combined two cabins into a third “cabin” option for booking. If you're new to the vacation rental business lodgify is a great way to start. The platform takes care of a lot of stuff that you'd otherwise have to learn how to do yourself. The LITE program allowed me to start with minimal risk and upgrade my facilities based on feedback. The ability to adjust my product features in response to real-time feedback has been precious.
