"An easy-to-use LIMS for a Gene Therapy laboratory"

What do you like best about Lockbox LIMS?

Lockbox LIMS helps my team understand real-time inventory in one central browser location. The upsides to using Lockbox LIMS are numerous: It works for consumable and sample inventories alike, the entire system is fully customizable for a company's specific requirements, and the interface has great visual drag-and-drop functionality. The dashboard reporting gives managers insights into metrics in real-time. With the help of Lockbox's responsive Implementation Team, the Lockbox LIMS system was up and running in no time, which is critical for the gene therapy industry. What do you dislike about Lockbox LIMS?

We don't have an established connection to other electronic databases currently, so it is standalone use, but we know future integrations are possible using the Lockbox APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lockbox LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Already the Lockbox LIMS system has given us the ability to extend the scope of experiments and beat timelines by easily putting together and reporting on inventories. Understanding our laboratory inventory in real-time also helps us meet our budget by reducing over-spending and over-stocking. Prior to implementing Lockbox LIMS, we had no verified inventory system and used on-site resources inefficiently while tracking down materials. "Perfect LIMs software for a developing clinical laboratory"

What do you like best about Lockbox LIMS?

Helped us evolve from a research only testing lab into a clinical testing lab easily and cost effectively. As we needed additional functionality, the lockbox team was able to implement the modules needed within a matter of weeks. This included clinical report PDF generation, full end-to-end tracking and auditing of sample inventory, and onboarding our growing team very easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lockbox LIMS?

There are a lot of functionality lockbox has to offer, so at times it was difficult trying to understand how all of the different features worked. Lockbox helped us meet government regulations by digitizing all of our data and protocols. Also, gives us chain of custody for our samples which is very important in our business. "Lockbox unified all of our groups into a centralized resource for our company."

What do you like best about Lockbox LIMS?

Our groups are all quite different. The adaptability of Lockbox to design different forms with different workflows made it a great system for all of our groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lockbox LIMS?

Because the system is closed source, you cannot build out new forms and functions independently but rather need to go back to the company for those types of changes. I also wish building out a table within a form was an easier task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had a bunch of groups that essentially operated independently. Lockbox put all of these groups together, making it easier to service our customers from one centralized system. What do you like best about Lockbox LIMS?

What do you like best about Lockbox LIMS?

Lockbox is highly customizable which is necessary for us as we are running both commercial kits and LDTs. The customer support is amazing, very friendly and prompt. Lockbox is also very affordable, which is good for small labs like us that need a proper LIMS but don't have the budget or staff resources to implement and maintain the systems used in large labs and hospitals. What problems is Lockbox LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to implement a custom solution quickly and affordably and Lockbox had us up and running pretty fast. We've been able to introduce changes when we find we need them so the system is growing as we grow our business. Because Lockbox runs off the Salesforce platform, most (if not all) of the needs for disaster recovery, security, backups, etc. were already solved and documented. The team handling our implementation is very knowledgeable pathology testing procedures and the need for confidentiality and traceability so it was easy to describe what we needed and have it implemented quickly.
