I like how easy it was to implement the AI tools. We needed to set up our help centre in multiple languages quickly and the results were coherent and practical.

**What do you like best about Localize?**

The software itself is very powerful and easy to us. Gave us a very fast solution for our Customers that we struggled to communicate with becasue of language. 

The people ar also amazing! The Localize team have been so helpful, they act like a partner, really focussed on our success! My CSM helps empower mu team with both knowledge on how to bes use the software and by sharing best practices. 

The rest of the Localize team has shown up to provide answers to our questions and solutions to any obsticles we run into.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

The only area that can be a bit labor intense if the Closed Captioning process... But here is the good news, the product team has been very active in getting feedback from to continually improve the software.

**What problems is Localize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localize has transformed our CustomerGauge Academy from a one language solution for some of our customers to an international multi language solution that is impacting everyone from Executive Leadership to the Frontline. We now have translations for every course, document, and video we offer to our customers (and employees)

Its a very easy tool to use and implement changes live on site! Additionally, the support team is eager to help on any problem that may arise.

The only downside we currently see is in regard to SEO and how the translations are added to the page.

The support from Localize is very good. They provide us onboarding process to ensure that the implementation process goes smoothly.
They have very good documentation, so it is very easy to implement their plugin to our website.

None actually. Except it is a little bit expensive.

It helps our website to support multiple languages in the matter of days. So we can reduce the need of doing manual translation for our contents.

Quick to set it up, high quality of translated content, convenient and simple user interface

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Scalability to multiple niche languages is limited due to pricing structure. We needed our website in Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian languages, it turned out their pricing is prohibitively expensive at $290 / month. Finally we chose Weglot due to better pricing.

Localize makes it easy for tech teams to implement and localize any site quickly.  There is still work to be done for the actual translations but Localize makes this easy as well - you can order translation or use machine translation and have your team check/revise it.

I haven't run into downsides for Localize.

Localize has made it very easy for an engineering team to localize a site.  Traditionally this would take tech teams months and months.  Now, it just takes us minutes.

Localize was easy to implement, is easy to train my staff on, and is easy to keep updated. They make translation easy; whether or not you have someone on staff who can do translations for you, you can cover a wide range of languages to reach customers around the world. 

Their support team is also extremely kind and helpful!

The only thing I dislike about Localize is sometimes navigating their help center can feel daunting.

**What do you like best about Localize?**

The translation platform is very easy to use. Approved translations appear on our webpage right away. 
Customer support is proactive in educating us on how to best use the platform with tips and tricks for our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

We would like to be able to view and edit the machine-generated translation and simultaneously view where the line is located on our web page. 
As a company with a very heavy and always changing webpage, seeing where the line is located is imperative for the correct translations of technological terminology.

**What problems is Localize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the exact translation for technological terminology is a must for our clients. This level of translation cannot be reached when our customers are using Google translate only to navigate on our webpage.
We are providing our European clients with a  better user experience on our platform, by being able to edit the machine-generated translation and adjust it to our terminology.

It is straightforward to set up, and when I've ever had any doubts, support has been quick to answer my questions and help me move forward.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Something we struggled with was adding translations in English - it seems there are many variations  (US, GB, AU, etc.), and we had to manually set all "en-" languages to "en" in localize so we only had to input the translations once. But otherwise, it works seamlessly.

We can easily add support on our website in multiple languages without extra development work.

I love how quickly you can get Localize up and running. I was able to get it implemented on a client's site within minutes. Although I initially felt overwhelmed about this client request, Localize solved my problem with their amazing solution.
Good to be able to use machine translation with real people if I choose.
The interface was simple enough to use, was able to find things as needed.
localize is super easy to implement and with a little bit of javascript, it can even be attached to different domains so each domain serves its corresponding language. I use it for a number of websites and it has never failed me.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Nothing—Localize not only accomplished my goals but also made my clients extremely pleased with something that could potentially be a complicated task.
The only problem is that translations are connected to precise paragraphs of text, change one letter and you have to go into the system to reconnect the previous translation, even changing a letter in a capital letter will cause a translation to disappear online, without a warning.

If you would like to support Multi language for your application with less effort and less time, Just go for Localize

**What do you like best about Localize?**

Super easy for everyone to contribute. Even non-technical team members can help by adding screenshots, keys, translations,  or placing orders. Localize was a recommendation by another mobile start-up. We tested along the process 6 different players on the market and localize was by far the best solution. 
Thanks to localize we can move much faster to make our app available in several different languages around the globe. 
Due to the localize api we were able to implement it into our backend - it's working seamless at the moment and even feels for a non-technical person like plug & play.
Other solutions very often don't have the perfect integration for your individual product or even work with text files. So whenever we want to release new content or a new localization to our app it just takes us at most 2 days. We always choose bilingual translators and created internal additional feedback loops with consultants, friends and families. It's just perfect for us!

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Sometimes saved linked screenshots disappear  or it takes some time to load, but I would say that's all

This is not exactly a dislike, but more of a suggestion for improvement. We have added 'notranslate' in numerous similar places in our web application. If it could be applied at the CSS class level or at the element level, it would really help and reduce the effort of adding 'notranslate' in many places. This also ensures that we haven't missed adding 'notranslate' to any element.

If you want to support multiple languages for your application with less effort and less time, just go for Localizejs.

We are solving multi-language support for the application using Localize, which requires much less effort compared to many other possible solutions.

The user interface is very easy to use and the translations can easily be updated at any time. When you implement changes, they take effect immediately which is awesome! There are tons of languages to choose from as well.

The pricing is pretty high considering there are some free services out there.

Worth using if you only need to translate a few projects and languages, if you need more than that it may be too pricey of a solution for your business (depending on the size of your operation).

Localize has an easy to use interface and has enabled our team to translate our platform with minimal development or administrative effort. 

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

The only feature that caused any (very minimal) trouble for our team is the default to enable automatic archiving. We have an introductory assessment that is only periodically revisited, so the phrases were quickly moved to the archive and therefore did not show as immediately translated upon the next identification. Disabling the automatic archiving resolved this for us.

Take advantage of the resources made available to Localize clients in the form of their support center and your personal contacts.

The development effort involved with translating a platform of our size would have been cumbersome - both in the initial implementation, as well as in ongoing support. With Localize, we were able to support localization of our platform with less than a month of development effort. With the support of localization, we are now able to reach and appeal to a broader audience.

**What do you like best about Localize?**

LocalizeJs (LJS) was very easy and fast to set-up and start showing results in target language. All the phrases/strings from your apps go to the same tool and are easy to see and manage. The tech support/help is very responsive and helpful to deal with all kinds of problems you might have.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Since LJS pushes all the strings from your Webapps to their tool, it is little bit tedious to find all the data that must not be send to the tool, e.g. confidential user information etc. You still have to find a way to localize possible 3rd party components on your Webapp, because at least we were not able to translate them properly with LJS. The tool is not geared towards deployment flow, where you have DEV, QA, Staging and Production environments and you have to move phrases/strings between different environments.

To localize several web apps written in different frameworks (Angular, React) in very short time frame. Have all the strings in one place where they are easily managed and edited by different stakeholders.

We can easily manage the translation of our pages, super simple! Really pleased we found a tool that works so well. Users browsing in another country will automatically see the correct translation for them which is great. The support team is great too!

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Haven't quite figures out the how to manage staging sites. e.g. adding the translations to a page before it gets released. There's probably a way to do this! Also haven't managed to translate pop-ups on pages.

It is perfect for small traffic websites, as traffic increases it quickly becomes very expensive.

The API and documentation is very easy to use. We were able to get it set up quickly. Translations are pretty accurate and we are able to have people go in and update strings with no problems.

When you need to expand to offer more languages the pricing can get pretty expensive.

The SDK is super easy to use with clear documentation on Frontend and Backend integrations with little filler material for senior engineers. There's also plenty of tutorials and examples for beginners as well.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

The starter plans are affordable for a small startup to expand to a few different markets. But if you need to expand globally, the pricing goes up quite a bit which only makes sense for larger companies.

**What problems is Localize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translation is hard enough as it is but doing that for multiple locales and keeping the translations up to date for new strings requires a lot of code. Localize takes that all that work out and simplifies the entire process with an sdk that auto translates and serves the strings in the right locale.

It's very easy to keep translations up-to-date on our website and we don't need to have multiple copies of each page to store translated content.

The service isn't fully automated, so we still have to manually approve phrases for translation every few days.

Localization of our website is much faster and less expensive than contracting with most translation services. Instead of waiting for major content updates, we can get translations almost instantly.

The ability to automatically translate text instantly, refine it or override it yourself, or upgrade the machine translating to business quality language in such a simple interface is invaluable to us as we try to grow internationally.
We've found Localize to be really flexible in terms of how we integrate with our website and how we use it amongst our staff.

We haven't hit any issues so far and implementation was well documented.

We have interviewed people in their native languages for blog posts. Being able to accurately translate these posts has allowed us to engage with their own following and cross-promote our brands a lot more effectively. We can translate the most important parts of our website as needed based on our site data such as which country people are accessing it from. It's demand-driven and very cost-effective.

**What do you like best about Localize?**

The best thing about Localize is that there's little to no tech required to get a site translated into another language whereas other solutions in this space require deeper integration and custom code to translate text strings on a webpage. 

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

While there's little technical implementation, it means there's some sacrifices you have to make from a consumer experience standpoint. More specifically, because this is a java script solution, the page does render as it would normally for a quick moment and then the translations start appearing. Depending on how quickly the JS loads, it might be noticeable to the user that we're swapping around content.

The ability for us to deploy a new language /translations to our site without the need for formal technical release deployments is a huge plus.

We needed to professionally translate our microsite into multiple languages to suit our global audience. Localise ticked all the boxes, especially with the human translation offering and the WP integration.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

The lingo used. As a new user and someone who uses SaaS apps all the time, the word 'Phrases' didn't resonate with me and felt like it over complicated a very straight forward process: I want to translate my whole website into x language. There is also the added complication of having to buy credits too, but thats no biggy.  I logged a couple tickets in the 'translate my website via a human' process in the end. It shouldn't be this jagged.

NO problems now that everything is tranlsated :)

I like the easy to use platform on the cloud that allows me to manage a team of translators around the world who can make changes on the fly. As soon as we launch a new page or new copy, they are standing by to translate and get it done.

We've been using Localize since 2015. Localize has provided us with easy to manage website translations. We're able to provide access to our internal translators who log in and see the wording required for translation. It's very simple and runs in the background. New words are automatically uploaded into Localize

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

Initially it took a while to translate due to the amount of words but this was as expected and over time this has become easier. It requires a developer to integrate but this was expected. Tagging phrases that didn't need translating took a while.

Instead of having to update multiple pages on our website in different languages we're able to use localize to do this for us.

**What do you like best about Localize?**

Localize is wonderful, we went from having a website in Spanish and with some English, to having more than ten languages available. Our users are amazed with this new change, and we get more visits and comments. It is a very good platform; it would take us an eternity to make these translations as well as the codes. It helped us to save a lot of time, in addition to generating more money because the interaction of people has been greater. It also helps us with the translation of files and documents, creating high reliability when it comes to accurately reading what the information says. Mainly, the translation we needed was the Spanish to English translation.

Localize is an intuitive platform, works perfectly offering tools and more efficient ways to translate what you want. Excellent program!

I have no criticism for this site, I think the idea of helping you with the translation of pages and documents is incredible. Although sometimes there are original words from my country that Localize translates differently from what I want to express.

What I love about this app is that it integrate seamlessly with our Shopify site, no coding required. It is an easy to use, fast, reliable and flexible translator. There is also the bonus that it is great value for money with its tier system.

**What do you dislike about Localize?**

The one down side for us was that we used the automated translation service, money being the issue as a start-up, which meant that we had to manually amend the translations suggested by Localize. This was mainly because we were translating from English to Finnish which is never easy. 

**Recommendations to others considering Localize:**

I would definitely recommend this app to all who are seeking an easy to use, fast, reliable and flexible translator. There is also the bonus that it is great value for money with its tier system.

**What problems is Localize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is based in Finland but as an English speaker I designed my Shopify website in my mother tongue. I tried many “translators” but with Finnish being classed as the second hardest language after Chinese most did not cut it. Most just used robot translations and as most of you probably know they are never good.
