I value the partnership approach LoanPro brings to the relationship. There is meaningful access across levels of the organization, along with clear visibility into the company’s vision and strategic direction. I also appreciate the industry events they host, which bring together partners from different segments of lending to exchange perspectives and best practices. That collaborative environment reflects a strong commitment to customer success and industry leadership.

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

At times, we have experienced a need for more consistent focus during certain phases of implementation. Additionally, some account management transitions created temporary disruptions in continuity. While the majority of our implementation progressed smoothly, certain unique product configuration requests required multiple iterations, which contributed to timeline extensions.

**What problems is LoanPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LoanPro provides a centralized platform of records across our various loan portfolios, including embedded lending, direct, and serviced by other programs. This consolidation strengthens operational control, reporting, and scalability. Its open architecture and extensive datasets support integration with our broader technology ecosystem, enabling us to grow strategically while maintaining flexibility and managing fixed and variable expenses as we scale.

**What do you like best about LoanPro?**

I like LoanPro's secure payments wallet, which we use extensively for processing payments through their onboard payment providers. It's very useful for handling all payment details, including PCI compliance for card accounts, so we don't have to build PCI compliant tools ourselves. I also appreciate the APIs provided by LoanPro, which we use extensively in the software we’ve built for managing our agent and customer experience. LoanPro acts as our accounting base layer for all of our loans and allows us to tap into data easily. LoanPro's support during our data migration was really helpful, making the difficult process worth it in the end.

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

I always wish that responsiveness to issues was a bit quicker, but this is something that we've been working on with them, and things have improved a lot.

**What do you like best about LoanPro?**

I like the UI of LoanPro. I also appreciate that everything is available via API, allowing us to leverage the data we need in a way that's unique to our business. Additionally, LoanPro helps automate some servicing tasks for our team, like processing the sale of loans and generating the data needed to pass to credit bureaus for transferring ownership of loans to businesses purchasing our debt. This used to be a manual process with associated costs, and LoanPro has effectively eliminated both the process and the costs for us.

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

Integrations with some of our other partners we already leverage to make the platform more seamless, like with our phone system for example, would be great.

**What problems is LoanPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LoanPro automates servicing tasks and eliminates manual processing, reducing costs. Its API-first nature allows for scalable, tech-forward solutions, and generates essential data for loan transfers, addressing limitations of my previous LMS.

I like LoanPro's API-first model and the full access to raw data. I appreciate that we're able to pull any details about the loan from the loan management system in real time via API, which allows us to make better decisions and better serve the customer.

I wish there were more out of the box banking reports ready to go and that the accounting didn’t rely on plugs to get accurate balances. Setup and migration has been challenging.

It provides real-time loan boarding and payment tracking via API, offering accurate data to improve servicing engagements. LoanPro we solely use loan pro as our core system of record. Because the platform is highly configurable, we’re able to support our current products while knowing we can introduce new loan products in the future without needing to replace our servicing infrastructure. They are growing quickly so their support staff could use more support. The initial setup was moderately difficult with lots to configure, so you need to think through all of the use cases.

**What do you like best about LoanPro?**

When we first spoke with LoanPro years ago, they weren't able to handle our multi-lender marketplace. But in the intervening couple of years, they have moved so far beyond what we need now — they're building what we anticipate we might need. The product is so well thought out, the attention to detail is incredible — I  can tell that this is built by people who love what they do and deeply care about creating the best outcomes for all involved.

They don't have everything yet, but they’re clearly on their way to getting there.

**What problems is LoanPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data availability  is so far beyond what our previous system was able to provide to us. The API architecture is brilliantly laid out so that we can get rid of 3 other systems and have everything within one single interface. Not only that, we can provide greater visibility into the current status of every loan to the borrowers themselves and also our lender partners.

The learning curve for this product is quite steep. Setting it up initially, as well as making more advanced changes, demands significant expertise and a considerable investment of time.

It centralizes and automates core servicing functions, payments, interest calculations, adjustments, and compliance, eliminating manual work and reducing errors.

**What do you like best about LoanPro?**

LoanPro does have the information needed to discuss the status of an account with a client. While having a conversation with them, I can navigate the system easily!

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

LoanPro could be a little bit cleaner in terms of how many things you find in the HomeScreen. It would be better to have an interface with nothing on it but a search bar for names, phone numbers or things like that.

The UI is modern and looks nice but that is it.

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

The functionality and integrations are not seamless. The user is not able to edit the DocuSign envelope before it is sent out. The automatic emails that are sent to the customer are ugly and incorrect. I am not always notified about automated emails that are sent to the customer, even though I should be. I am not able to call LoanPro for customer support. LoanPro does individually amortize multiple units on one contract.

LoanPro appears to be geared more towards fintechs and credit card issuers and BHPH lenders, not equipment financing.

They offer a lot of customization in terms of data models. They have even helped us get set up for being able to access our data directly for making our our reports/APIs and other needs. 

We have good direct access to the LoanPro team for troubleshooting and questions and people respond quickly.

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

The customization also leads to some confusing data structures and not always easy to know where to find what we need. There's not always consistency between the data/APIs. While we've worked out some better communication patterns, we find things will break with. No notice of changes other than our systems error and we have to ask "did something change?" When we get direct access to folks on the technology side, things do tend to go a bit smoother. 

The UI is not super intuitive (in my opinion) and feels a bit dated.

A loan servicing platform. API integrations to our systems, reporting, internal administration access and supplying access to our customers.

LoanPro's biggest strength is in its people and in ease of Implementation. The LP Team has been great to work with and is always very responsive to our needs. I have yet to encounter a situation or question that they wer eunwilling to work through with us. There really is not much to dislike. When we first began using LP, there were times that the navigation was not as intuitive as I had hoped, but as their product (and our experience) evolves, the navigation seems to as well. They certaonly do not have the "if it is not broke don't fix it" mentality, as they often push out enhancements and features to aid in ease of use.

I worked with a really excellent team of people who worked very diligently to ensure that I understood any issues with my portfolio and how they could be best resolved. If there was anything that required troubleshooting, my account management team would make themselves available for calls to ensure that the solution was understood by both parties. It is from their partnership that I credit my loan servicing knowledge - they made me better at what I already do and that level of detail is invaluable.

There's truly nothing I like about this software. Its interface is terrible, nothing is intuitive AND they bill you for support but never fix anything.

EVERYTHING. We're going to get rid of this software as soon as we can. We're a tech company so I can promise the issue is not our ability to use technology. We were "sold" on a software that was "highly customizable," but every time we try to customize something we're told "sorry, that's not customizable." My question is what is customizable???? I truly couldn't be less satisfied with this software. If you're considering LoanPro as a solution, don't.  To reiterate: not only does support bill for their time, they also don't fix anything. Save yourself the time and money and find a different LMS.

It was supposed to help us service loans. Speedchex/ACHq (the processor we integrated into LoanPro) is great, LoanPro is not. We will eventually cancel our contract with LoanPro but keep our contract with Speedchex/ACHq.

**What do you like best about LoanPro?**

LoanPro is a very easy software and a good program for any company with loan services.

**What do you dislike about LoanPro?**

If you want to combine this software with a text reminder for your customer's payment. They have a partnership with a specific company, which means that you can't use the company you like but the one they offer only.

**What problems is LoanPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have about 6 months with this software, we are still learning. But definitely every time we have issues the problem is solved super quick.
