A system of record (SOR) or source system of record (SSoR) is a data management term for an information storage system (commonly implemented on a computer system running a database management system) that is the authoritative data source for a given data element or piece of information. The need to identify systems of record can become acute in organizations where management information systems have been built by taking output data from multiple source systems, re-processing this data, and then re-presenting the result for new business use. In these cases, multiple information systems may disagree about the same piece of information. LoadProof is so simple to use! We did a wrapper-mounted deployment of LoadProof, and came in the next morning to train the users, but they were already using it successfully. What do you dislike about LoadProof? LoadProof runs on any mobile device, so it does typically require the user to manually snap photos, which can add up to a bit of time throughout the day, but the benefits of having a "Load-Proofed" load far outweight this small overhead. No one likes them, and they are almost impossible to fight, so our customers were just "eating" the charges. Not anymore! A photo is worth a "thousand bucks", I like to say, and the charges all disappear when our sites can show that product was loaded correctly into a departing truck. It is a powerful tool! Having incorporated Load proof into our process has unabled us to effectively submit claims, provide information to both our internal department as well as our customers, brokers and 3PL (third party logistics) partners. The thousands of fees and damaged product recovered thanks to Load Proof has more than paid for the subscriiption itself. Not to mention, the ease in navigating when using the application. Material Handlers are able to download the application into their phones and with the simple touch of a button, capture the quality of the picture. The website itself is very simple to use as well, for looking up photos of shipments. As an administrator user, I can easily navigate to any adjust a need to make to our account, such as, adding or deleting users. I would strongly recommend this software to any business in the "Logistics" world. This definitely saves a lot of headaches and frustrations with both Incoming and Outgoing shipments. I also want to emphasize the great customer support that company offers. They are quick to answer any questions or concerns you have regarding the product. We implemented LoadProof to help drive accountability between us and our customer. We were frequently getting rejections back from the customer and we were positive the damage was happening at the customer's site. We implemented LoadProof and started taking pictures of every single outgoing shipment to the customer with each product labeled uniquely. Prior to using LoadProof for our quality control program, quality checks were done using control forms. It is easy to "pencil whip" quality checks on paper. Our quality checks are required every hour. With LoadProof, we are using it for our quality checks each hour. This has driven the quality team to be on time with their checks since all entries are timestamped. We have seen a solid improvement in our quality programs as we are not seeing quality defects in our finished goods. We have used LoadProof to investigate when a customer complaint was issued, going back and looking at photos per each hour check has helped in identifying if the issue was during production. We hope to use LoadProof for other purposes in the future. There is no way to download previous years pictures to an external drive for record keeping. Quality of pictures is not the same as the device taking the pictures.
