Livid is a Vimeo alternative for video hosting, built by the founders of StreamYard after Bending Spoons acquired Vimeo and raised prices. Livid offers ad-free video hosting for individuals and small businesses. Every plan includes embedding, sharing, analytics, versioning, and timestamped comments. Pro ($10/month) adds 2TB of storage, password and unlisted sharing, full player customization, watermark removal, custom logos, and viewer downloads. Need more storage or bandwidth? Custom plans are available. Migrating from Vimeo takes minutes with LOVE, the free Livid One-click Video Exporter. LOVE transfers your entire Vimeo library to Livid with folder structure, descriptions, and privacy settings preserved. It can also download videos locally or export to Google Drive. Nothing is altered or deleted on Vimeo. Switching mid-contract? Livid credits the remaining months of your Vimeo annual plan, so you never pay for hosting twice. Livid is independently funded with $10M from StreamYard's founders and has been covered by The New York Times. No ads. No acquisition. No forced upgrades.
